The company has garnered a predominantly negative reputation among customers, primarily due to significant issues with order accuracy and return processes. Many reviews highlight frustrations over receiving incorrect parts and the subsequent difficulty in obtaining refunds, with customers often bearing return shipping costs for errors not of their making. Additionally, the customer service experience is frequently described as inadequate, characterized by long wait times and unhelpful responses. While some customers noted prompt delivery of the correct items, the overall sentiment reflects a lack of reliability and support, leading to a strong recommendation to seek alternative suppliers.

High prices and the worst shipping. FedEx misses the scheduled delivery date then can't be tracked. THE WORST!
Parts don't fit vehicle advertised. Customer service doesn't respond.
It's up to me to pay for shipping a part to me and to return it, based on false advertising on their web site as to vehicle fitment.
Part was also poorly packaged.
Stay away! Worth company every! I am planning sue them by end of this month. I have order parts online, and they sent me wrong parts. I have requested return label they are not replying. Worth customer service ever!
This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I returned an item and called to follow up on the return. They were nasty and did not help at all. I am still waiting for my money back.
Please do not order from them.
Ordered oil filler cap for late model Porsche. Illustration on Website was exactly what I wanted. Part I received was cheap knock-off that I could have purchased for one-third the cost on eBay. Contacted their customer service and have been totally ignored since. Stick with Pelican Parts... you always know what you are getting from them!
I ordered a part (headlight) listed on the Parts Geek website as specifically fitting my car by make, model and year. I received a part that has never been used on my model--completely wrong part. The company refuses to refund the (very high) shipping charges I paid or to pay the shipping I had to pay to return it. They sent the wrong part; they should pay for the shipping both ways. Their "customer service" emails were dismissive and unhelpful (I should have "taken pictures" before sending the part back--ridiculous!). Do not buy from this company.
They take forever to ship, they don't guarantee their products. The worst part is they'll send you the completely wrong part then expect you to pay for return shipping and a restocking fee! They are absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with!
Bad site to buy parts from. They sent me a broken part and so being with out the car at the shop waiting on the part for the time. They asked me to buy another to get one shipped out to replace the bad one. Just decided might as well just buy from another company that has a better guarantee of parts. Sadly Ebay is better to deal with when it comes to guarantees
Waited over a week for the product just to ship and never did. I had to call Parts Greek and was advised there was a "problem with my card" but the order went through and I was sent an order confirmation. I was never sent anything to my email about my card not going through. So while on the phone with the rep I used the exact same card to pay for it again and the rep advised it would ship that day. Of course that was not the case and it still took a few days before it ever shipped. To add icing to the cake when I finally received my order it was missing a ball joint out of the package. So again I had to call parts geek and i was advised I would have to ship the item back and get a refund. Only after I argued about this the rep advised the supervisor would see if the distributer could ship the ball joint but if not we would have to ship the item back and then we would be issued a refund. This company is the biggest joke ever!
I ordered the wrong set of headlights and immediately requested to cancel my order and Partsgeek refused and sent the order anyway. I had to pay for return shipping and a restock fee.
They state fast shipping but it took 2 weeks to get the part through FedX shipping, would not use Parts geek again, stay away
The part arrived broken. I contacted them and was informed I need to send it back AT MY EXPENSE. I ordered from them because they were $4 cheaper. Huge mistake. Won't be using Parts Geek again. Waste of time and money.
I had ordered a part off Partsgeek.com to fix my car. I purchased through Parts Geek because of the price and selection seemed very reasonable.
But my problem is, I never received my part.
I contacted the shipping service (UPS) and the Parts Geek for a resolve, but alas, I did not receive one. It was their lack of customer service that will keep me from purchasing from them ever again.
They did not seem to care that I was out the price of the part + Shipping, or the fact that I never received what I had paid for.
Proper Customer Service would have been to help. They could offer the same part for half off or to replace that part OR anything to help offer a solution to the problem. I will definitely take my business elsewhere.
If you were willing to work with me, I would have happily spent more money with you, buying parts in the future, I would have given you a great review, AND my car would be fixed by now.
I ordered 2 Hatch Lifts for my 2008 Jeep. They arrived with one part missing AND it was a window lift, not the parts that I ordered. I followed their directions for the return and received a return number that I clearly wrote on the box. Much to my surprise they refused my return and sent the same box back more damaged than it was the first time, AND it was the same wrong part.
Unfortunately, I read all the reviews after the fact. However, it saved me any additional aggravation by trying to communicate with them. My husband and I decided to take the loss and write this review warning ALL to never deal with these thieves. Please STAY AWAY and pass it on.
Ordered a wheel for my Mustang... arrived damaged... I had to pay $30 shipping to return it with a valid RMA. I was informed I would be credited, which I was... so I ordered another wheel... They sent me the same box and same damaged part. I have a dispute open with them and my credit card company.
Worst customer service I have ever run across.
I Ordered air conditioning hoses for my 2013 Chevy Suburban and was charged
$124.75 for the wrong parts in order to get a refund they expect you to pay for shipping the merchandise back to them
What a total ripoff
I bought 2 shock absorbers and only received one! They will not respond to my emails or refund half my money for the part I did not get! I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone! Not happy!
Part doesn't even fit my car and they will not reimbursement for the shipping when I return the product. I called up to ask about this and they immediately hung up on me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Partsgeek sells online only. This is their way of avoiding accountability. They basically hide behind their computer. And they sell to out of state consumers usually so as to create physical distance from all their customers to avoid personal encounters because they know full well that they are not acting in good faith and risk a $#*! whoopin if they encounter a pro active dude with a temper. They are very protective of their physical address so as to avoid actual physical confrontations. I offer my suggestions to avoid scammers like this. First, dont assume that just because a website pops up while you are shopping for that car part that it is a reputable company. Check for a phone number and then call it and pay attention to their responses when you ask for sales dept., ask about their return policy, refunds, name of mgr, or name of owner. They should have professional responses to all. This is where partsgeek miserably fails. The best thing you've got going for you is your credit card. Unfortunately for partsgeek they are a hostage to the very credit card that is their lifeblood. Credit cards, as a rule, do not hold their cardmembers responsible in cases of fraud or gross customer dissatisfation. The bank doesnt make this wellknown, but if you buy using your card, and you are treated like partsgeek treats people, then go through the simple process that the bank requires and start your bankcard refund process. It takes some time to write your reasons out and fill out their form and get them what they need. But they then will request some satisfaction from partsgeek which they wont get and you will then get credited for the sales amount. It takes a few weeks. I did this at my bank, compass, and they complied and issued my refund. I think most all bankcards have this policy. If not, change banks. Later, the bank goes after partsgeek for their reimbursement. Good luck to you, im sorry you got tangled up with these bad apples. Be diligent.
5 months later, no parts, no refund, no communication, no answers. They are total deadbeat thieves intentionally. One day very soon when convenient for me, I will come face to face with one of the Parts Geek thieves. I will be armed with backup and surveillance. Then I will beat the everloving S**T out of him/her.
I ordered a fuel pump for my truck on June 3 it took nine days to receive it through Fed-X. I could have got it in three days through the postal service by priority mail and cheaper. Oh by the way Fed-X dropped if off at the postal service to deliver it, as they did not complete the delivery but they got the money for it. It arrived at their facility within 8 miles of my house on June 8 and it took another 4 days for me to receive it. I wont use your service again. Sam H
Answer: Because they're unprofessional, unethical, communist fuckin jackasses!
Answer: Parts geek had the rudest and most infuriating customer service I've encountered ever.
Answer: You'll pay plenty for shipping and if they give you the wrong part, you'll pay to ship it back. It's in their terms. You pay shipping both ways, regardless of fault.
Answer: Because they are either crooks, or they have some nut in the warehouse grabbing whatever and sending it to you even if it's wrong wrong wrong!
