The company has garnered a predominantly negative reputation among customers, primarily due to significant issues with order accuracy and return processes. Many reviews highlight frustrations over receiving incorrect parts and the subsequent difficulty in obtaining refunds, with customers often bearing return shipping costs for errors not of their making. Additionally, the customer service experience is frequently described as inadequate, characterized by long wait times and unhelpful responses. While some customers noted prompt delivery of the correct items, the overall sentiment reflects a lack of reliability and support, leading to a strong recommendation to seek alternative suppliers.

I've ordered several parts from partsgeek and always had fast shipping and parts arrived without damage. Thanks!
Bought a mass air flow sensor from PG, NEVER AGAIN! Part barely lasted over the 30 days warranty another online scam site dont even think about buying form these crooks
It is just a nightmare website a big big scam stay away don't order anything from them
Very bad customer services end up losing money for these $#*!s
I called to order a timing chain and water pump set for a Chrysler Sebring. The young man I spoke to on the phone was very polite, and said don't buy that cheap Chinese crap, he said let me sell you a good American-made set. He said it is a bit more money, but it has a far better guarantee and is made of much better materials. I agreed, and I ordered the more expensive American made set. I had a customer car waiting for the parts and a customer that had to go on a trip. The parts came in, I looked at the boxes, and the Cloyes timing chain set was made in taiwan, and the Gates water pump in mainland china! Needless to say, both the customer and I were very upset. I had to put the pieces on the car because the customer had to leave town the next day. I tried to call partsgeekcom which is a joke, so I emailed them with my frustration and unhappiness with their lying, deceitful sales practices. They've sent me 11 garbage emails, because apparently their customer support is overseas and they do not understand simple plain English. All I have been asking for is the difference in what the man told me the price was, and that I paid, for the supposedly American-made parts, and the cheap chinese crap. I have received at least five emails asking me to send the parts back. I have explained at least five times that the parts are on the car, and the car is out of my shop. PartsGeek will never get one more Penny from me, and I will be certain that every one of my customers knows not to buy from this deceitful, lying company. I hope thousands of people read these reviews Tama and take them to heart. This is a terrible company, the worst that I have seen in over 40 years in the automobile repair business.
Bought a Brake booster for my Toyota from Parts Geek. Took 8 days to get it when they state "Ships in 1-2 days". When part does show up (4 times longer then they advertise)I get a undamaged box with a damaged brake booster inside. NowParts Geek offers a return program. It states " no matter who's at fault, customer pays return shipping " then they they add "recommend insuring item to be returned" Seriously. You mother F__kers.
Brake booster is smashed on one side & one of two attachment bolts is bent.
I placed an order in mid- February, they send me one of the items wrong; then Covid-19 started and 30 days passed and they won't accept the part they sent wrongly even though is on the original box. Not even store credit was offered.
Because I had had correct parts before with these guys, I didn't think there would be an issue. When I finally got to my brake job, it was beyond 30 days and lo and behold they were the wrong parts. I explained that the label had been for an 05 Tacoma and showed them pictures of what came out of my 05 Tacoma and that they were not the same. After several email exchanges, they insisted there was nothing they would do because of the 30-day return policy. Now I have just wasted my money on parts that I cannot use. I will never use them again.
I brought a part from partsgreek. Says it will fit on my car but ended up not fitting correctly, the wrong part. Spent 74 dollars. I waiting about a month and a half to install, to find out that they wont accept my return, not even give me a store credit. Bull$#*! company.
I am writing this review on behalf of my husband. He purchased a dashboard from Parts Geek. But I guess he should've read the reviews and checked their return policy. This website gives them a 1.3 and their website has reviews at a 4.5 (that's a lie). Of course the dashboard didn't fit and he needed to return it. After looking into their return policy, this is what they have on their website: "We do not offer return shipping reimbursement regardless of the party at fault. All returns are freight prepaid by the customer." Ok. Fine. So when he purchased the dashboard their shipping cost to him was $65. So we thought it would be around the same price. No. I went to FedEx and the cost to ship the dashboard was $234 which is how much he paid for the dashboard including tax and shipping. He didn't do like I said and wait to see how much shipping this first one would be and ended up purchasing another one they claimed would fit. Well they sent the same exact dashboard so of course it didn't fit. Now he's out of $234x2 which is $468. And it costs the exact same price to ship back each box. So shipping it back would cost $468. I stopped by the post office to see if the price would be cheaper and they wouldn't even ship it at all because it's too big. Seems like a scam to me. They got $468 from my husband and it costs $468 to ship it back. So even if he sent it back for $468 he'd be getting reimbursed for the shipping he just spent. Not even the product. Ridiculous!
Wrong parts after waiting over a week. Have to pay to ship them back. They do this on purpose as they know you won't ship them back Also the parts were cheaply made. Scammers, shame on you! I should have listened to the real reviews and not the fake ones on their site.
Not only did they send me the wrong part after I asked the guy on the phone does the drive axle that goes in the transmission is it 5 1/2 inch long and he was like yes don't worry it's a perfect fit for your car not only did I get the wrong part but when I went to ship it back they told me I was responsible for my own shipping and then two days later they send me a free shipping label I'm like wtf and they refuse to give me my money back they are nuts and should not be in business don't order from them
They sent me a defective part AND made me pay to ship it back so I paid shipping 3 times, once to get the defective part, high shipping cost to ship it back and then shipping for a replacement. Will NEVER do business with them again.
Parts Geek feels like an illegal business. I ordered a part for $294 and paid tax and shipping on my order. The part ended up arriving damaged. Luckily the delivery man was extremely helpful so I avoided any shipping costs. They said they do not do returns and I would have to buy another one. I checked and the price went up an extra $50 for the same part. I had to pay that plus tax and and shipping netting at an $80 loss for their mistake. Now several weeks later another of the same parts arrives at my door. We had to reject this package. Now I will have to battle for a refund which is probably another month out!
TLDR: This company has no return policy and if there is a mistake you will pay! Expect no customer support and expect to pay out of YOUR pocket if they make a mistake. Look at how they ship a $350+ part and tell me if you want to risk dealing with that. They had my car out of commission for three weeks because of their mistake.
Ordered before & was happy. Ordered a mirror that won't fit & my experience is very frustrating! There's NO customer service #. You can't get a supervisor. Send an email & WAIT. Call the sales & get put on hold for 15 - 20 minutes & get another stupid email. Their site has customer reviews but they're submitted & approved by them & guess what... they're all glowing reviews.
I wouldn't buy amother part from these $#*!s if they were the only place to get it. BEWARE
Part came late, and the part is so badly destroyed, would never do buisness with this company again.
Bought a fuel pump here. Dexter to make sure I got a good one. DID NOT WORK! Being a fuel pump, and not it's gasolinre contaminated, They sent me an RMA I can't use. No one will accept the package! I'm out $140 ona ap defective piece of ship that PARTSGEEK WILL NOT STAND BEHIND. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. I can't stress this enough. And neither phone # is answered.
Ordered parts to replace my AC system, the forgot to ship half of them. No way to know if the parts that showed up even fit because I can't leave my car in pieces while waiting on parts.
Now waiting more time to get the stuff I ordered. And before it's mentioned I did verify everything was in stock before I ordered.
Was unable to resolve issue with customer service and I'm now waiting on an email from another department.
Will not use again.
Ordered a radiator and installed it. There was a crack in the radiator near the drain plug. I went to a local vendor and bought the part and installed it. I followed the return intsructions from Partsgeek website and waited for a shipping label - a few days went by and recieved nothing. I called Partsgeek and was hung up on 3 times. I called Partsgeek the next day and asked to speak to a manager. The woman i spoke to told me to take pictures of the radiator and sent then to *******@partsgeeek.com and that he would get back to me with additional information and would also be sent a shipping label. 4 days went by and nothing from Partsgeek. Below is the email sent to Tony at Partsgeek.
Hello I'm trying to return a radiator that I received from partsgeek. After installation I discovered that there was a crack on the plastic of the radiator near the drain plug. I had to remove the part and replace it with another radiator that I bought from a local vendor.
Could you please assist me in returning this part? On 5/5/20 I' submitted the support ticket on the website and now have an RMA. At this point in time I am waiting for a return label.
Thank you very much for your time and cooperation.
If you buy a pet that has a core charge count that as part of your purchase. This was by far my worst online purchase for the last 10 years. Zero customer service.
A zero star would be what I'd give if I could.
Answer: Because they're unprofessional, unethical, communist fuckin jackasses!
Answer: Parts geek had the rudest and most infuriating customer service I've encountered ever.
Answer: You'll pay plenty for shipping and if they give you the wrong part, you'll pay to ship it back. It's in their terms. You pay shipping both ways, regardless of fault.
Answer: Because they are either crooks, or they have some nut in the warehouse grabbing whatever and sending it to you even if it's wrong wrong wrong!
