I purchased a brake kit for my 2014 BMW 750i, it included front and rear rotors and brake pads. Each of the items are sold separately on the website but they bundle the kits for ease of ordering. I answered all the online questions and they said it would fit my car. The items came in a timely manner. I installed the front with no problem. When I went to install the rear they had sent the wrong rear rotors. I finished the install minus the rear rotors. I contacted them to return the wrong rotor THEY SENT and I was told since it was a kit I had to return the entire kit. I said it's on my car and I would like my money back for their mistake only for the rotors or they could send the correct rotors and I'll return their mistake. The insisted they sent the right rotors so I asked what diameter they sent, they said 13" (which is right) so I measured what they sent and it was 12.5", the wrong size. It also had a too deep center for the emergency brake so they didn't fit flush on the hub. They said I was lying and had to return the entire kit. The supervisor I spoke with was very disrespectful and arrogant and refused any type of exchange or refund. I will never buy from from these fools again they have no concept of customer service. All I wanted was an exchange or refund for the incorrect parts they sent. You are foolish if you buy from this group, use a more reputable parts supplier.
So I ordered these parts for my car in December. My mechanic went out of town unexpectedly to mexico until after the new year. Diring that time i tested positive for covid christmas eve and was not able to go get them put on until i was clear of illness. As soon as i was i went on January 11 to have them installed. Its the wrong parts. So he got the correct parts from local and put them on because my wheel bearings were BAD and I couldn't wait. If it wasn't for getting covid we would of know. This a lot sooner and it would be fine. I order from yall always last summer i spent close to $1000. 00 for my other car. But i am 57 yr old single female and i cannot afford to be out 184.00. Please allow a return. Thank you so much
This was my email to them. I GOT COVID BEFORE MY MECHANIC GOT BACK IN TOWN. THAT IS BEYOND ANYONES CONTROL. THESE A$$HATS trying to keep my money. Nah. I'm a squeeky wheel. I'll keep on and on. I want my $$ and they just lost a good customer. Wish I didn't have to give a star at all
Beware of buying anything large from this company. There were two other carriers/shippers involved and no intact was received. Parts geek only refunded me 300 dollars of the 657 since they said they couldn't get a hold of me. I paid for the items and shipping and 20 dollars extra for shipping insurance, but no items received and less than half of my money was refunded... scam scam scam... Nowhere did it say I had to acknowledge shipment before they delivered. That's why I confirmed address etc during buying process. Stay away. Use Rock Auto or some other company.
Do not buy anything from partsgeek. I ordered over $400.00 in parts, front suspension kit, they sent half with ups and the other half with fedex. I never received anything. Fedex refused to deliver the package and took it somewhere far away, bunch of jerks, if the parts had been shipped by regular mail usps i would have my parts and i would not have to go through the hassle of reordering them and waisting time. Also prices at partsgeek are a big rippofffff, ebay is way way cheaper, faster and better. I am disputing the charges with my cc.
Ordered a strut for my vehicle with detailed description and partsgeek sent the wrong part for which I had no use for so had to return it. The original box when received was torn into pieces and not reusable. Partsgeek said I would have to pay all expense to return so took it to UPS and advised to box and ship $77 which
Was only $28 less than the part cost. Lesson learned.DO NOT BUY FROM PARTSGEEK.COM OR YOU WILL BE TAKEN. Read the fine print.
Horrible customer service, provide wrong tracking info, Insisted I got everything in one shipment, items were sent in different shipments. Damaged In shipping, other item lost in shipping, lied to by customer service, promised a call from supervisor, never called. They refuse to do anything till after weeks of waiting on lost shipment. Have to wait for they don't send replacement parts. Have to wait for claim with ups before refunded. Waist of time and money, and they don't care about the issues. Use at your own risk Jose supervisor ext 5022 is rude and unhelpful.
I ordered a part by the VIN# of my vehicle---the part didnt fit. I asked for a return merchandise slip to be mailed to me and Parts Geek said no... you will have to pay the shipping yourself. The part was less than $100.00 and to ship it back to PG the freight was $45.00. Not going to be doing business with PG again unless they issue me a store credit... which i doubt. A USPS tracking number was provided and the tracking showed the package never shipped. No phone or email contact is possible
They shipped the wrong item. Return process is a nightmare. Cannot get the correct part until the wrong item is returned their customer service is reprehensible. Spend the extra nickel and buy your parts someplace else.
I purchased rotors and brakes for my 2019 dodge ram Dually they sent me the wrong parts then trying to get a hold of them in customer service was almost as long as it took to get the parts over two weeks speaking to their customer service the guys English was horrible and I continually had to repeat myself then when I finally was able to get labels they sent me the improper labels and I had to pay to return parts now I'm scared to see if I'm even gonna be reimbursed these guys are a joke if you wish to waste your money used them if not go to your local parts store order it let them take the liability or go to rockauto.com
Cant show proof of purchase because the purchase never happened due to this company being woefully incompetent. I ordered a part for my pick up. The site showed they had 4 of the item in stock. The next day they sent an email asking for a copy of my driver's license and a utility bill to be sure it was my own credit card I was using. I supplied the information and did not get a response. Called today and got the reply that the warehouse would send me a tracking number by tomorrow morning at the latest. Once I got off the call with "customer service" Ha. I happened to check my email and noticed that a half hour before my call I got an email stating my order had been voided since they were out of stock and that I could buy another product or wait 3 weeks to see if my item was back in stock. They have lost my business permanently. The WORST company I have ever had to deal with. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere don't bother giving them a chance, you will be so very disappointed. If I could give a 1/2 star or less I would.
They sent me the opposite side door piece twice and refused to return because I was outside the 30 day limit.
They wanted me to pay for the $135 to ship the wrong parts that came even though I chose the correct year, make, model, and trim. They wouldn't allow me to ship them back because I was a few days over the 30 day policy which was because of the Thanksgiving holidays.
Bought a part that was flagged by my bank due to it being shipped to another state. I only got to know this after emailing them asking when the part is going to get here after 10 days of no news. That's understandable so I emailed them to resolve it because they didn't let me know and just canceled the transaction without letting me know. After emailing and not getting any responses I called them and did everything over the phone with a weird caller that sounded like a scammer. After another 10 days later I got an email saying my refund was approved due to it not being in stock…. Idk how to express how annoying this is when my car has been standing waiting for this stupid part.
