Ordered a part from them and they delayed shipping it for almost a week until I threatened them with fraud charges. Finally got the part and it was the for the wrong generation vehicle because they have the application completely wrong (still do even after it being pointed out to them). Finally got authorization to return the part at their expense and now they won't respond to my messages in regards to the refund. So now I'm working with my bank to get the charge reversed due to their fraudulent practices. Also speaking to an attorney about what can be done legally.
I who love my vehicles and care for them needed a pump for a vehicle 1990 - 2000 - ordered - waited for 2 weeks for delivery - wrong part - gurr - summited for return authorization - never got one - called to seek the RA#, was told they don't refund - my loss - NEVER again - worthless thieving company - hahahaha an then when you try to complete this comment - they want you you to upload your receipt - if not, your entry is at the end of the list - yo with over 900 negative comments doesn't really matter - shame on me on not checking reviews - but in AMERICA we honor our customers -- ummm NOT getting a receipt, to what harasse me -
I was sold a pair of struts, after providing the year make and model. Thats what i was sold, my mechanic came over they are too short. I called up and they tried to sell me the same pair, i said you not listening. The car is a sedan base model not 4matic. He said oh sorry we don't have that part. I was taught if something is too good to be true it is garbage
I had a part fail after 6 months tried to get it replaced they told me they don't send replacements they would only credit me after the received the old one I original box which I no longer have after 6 months

Not only were the spark plugs nowhere close to being the right size and paying really expensive shipping, but they also sneakily signed me up for a 30-day free trial membership in some discount club that I have no use for. Luckily, I caught the charge on my card while it was still pending and was able to get it voided out and canceled. I will NEVER use this company again.
Not sure what everyone is upset about. I looked up my own part's on their site. Parts were less than half price for the same part type and number of the one's I found local. I ordered them, they promised them in 7 to 10 days. That's when I received them... Really a nice transaction. Thanks parts geek! Very pleased with your service.
The company lies when says order in next 2 hours and have it on the day it tells you and don't expect it in a week. After I ordered it didn't get picked up from company for 4 days and tracking doesn't get updated for 2 days because that's when it finally moves to different location. I would never buy from them again.

I contacted them about a return for one part of 2 I ordered. I contacted them on the 14th which was within the 30 days. However their response was delayed and they invoked their 30 day return policy. What a joke! The part was only $26, but it's the principle. I didn't have access to the vehicle I was installing the antenna on due to supply chain issues affecting my garage guys. Once I had my vehicle I installed the part I needed, determined I didn't need the other and contacted them the same day. Every company has latitude to work around policy in an effort to accommodate their customers. I guess they need the $26 more than a repeat customer. I'll never use them again and will be sure to spread the word to those I know restoring vehicles. Wake up Parts Geek! At a customer rating of less than 1.5 I would think you consider amending your intransigent approach to check stompers.
I ordered a 2004 bmw 530i alternator and was given a tracking number. I contacted the post office and UPS THEY ONLY SHIPPED A LABEL, there is no package to be delivered, was last scanned at the post office, 2 weeks later no refund or no part. They keep giving me a tracking number so why can't you track my package. Asked them to open an investigation and no response! Bad business
I will probably never order anything from this company ever again. I ordered a window regulator for our 2016 Hyundai Tucson. I confirmed the part through chat with one of their representatives. When we received the part it was not the right one. We still have to return that part but we were waiting for the right part to arrive. It was ordered on Thursday. This morning I contacted chat to see where the shipping number was for the new part and it's never been ordered even though the card was charged because the item is not in stock even though the representative said it was in stock. I'm really not very happy with this company at all. I'm sitting here waiting for a part for my window that's never going to get here and I've been without my car for almost a week. This is really bad customer service.

I ordered a Strut (KIT) for my car on 7. 25. 2022 my poor customer service journey just ended 8. 11. 2022
First they marked my order as fraud; which I don't understand how as I was on the line with customer service when the order was placed, and not an online unassisted order, I would hate to think that I was profiled. This pushed back my order several days. I was subjected to customer service reps who could care less and rude because it seems that they are a third party company. Extremely non cholent. A so called fraud department that you could only speak to through email who made me sit and wait for a response for 6-7 hours. I had to send my drivers license and bank statement via email to prove who I was; which was scary because I had never ordered from this company before. I was contacted only through email for that issue if I would have not looked in my email I would not even have known. Once the package was shipped which took 6 days it was shipped partially. I pleaded and begged with several supervisors and customer service reps to just send the additional parts that went along with the kit, after countless calls and hours, they kept saying that was not something that could be done and that they could not help me and that I had to send the part back even though it was their fault. I called several supervisors and reps to confirm this because i could not believe what I was hearing. I had to wait to receive a return shipping label for the part. I had to for the part to be inspected once received at the warehouse... and then and only they could issue a refund which could take 10-14 days I spent daysssssss on the phone in pure distress. Then on top after getting the refund they shorted the me the shipping fee on which I had to call back and ask for when it was clearly their fault of all of this to begin with... needless to say my car sat at an auto shop almost a month because of the extremely poor service that I received. I would never ever use this company EVERRRRRR AGAIN..
I purchased parts online, received them promptly, but they were the wrong parts. I requested a return, and received one. The parts were returned to them within 3 days. I waited 11 more days before the company contacted me, stating that they were only refunding money for one of the two parts. They stated that 1 part was USED. THAT PART WAS TAKING OUT OF THE BOX, DISCOVERED TO BE THE WRONG PART, AND PLACED BACK IN THE BOX! How can a wrong part be "used"?

Ordered beginning of July 2022, it is now August 8th. Still waiting on my credit for parts shipped to me that were the cheaper version of which I paid for. Did they not think I would notice? And to top it off, not once did I get an apology. There are many different online parts stores to choose from, parts geek will not be an option going forward.
Worst service ever. I inquired before ordering to ensure part was availble. Week later I followed up as I never recieved part. Customer service said they would look into it. I never heard back. I followed up next day and they refunded my money. I wanted and needed the part, but they just refunded money and told me to order from local supplier... I have been using a car rental for a week waiting for part.

I ordered left and right front "Detroit axles" for a 2009 Dodge Caliber on 7/25/2022 and was told 1-2 days for delivery so on 7/27/2022 i checked the status of the order and found that the carrier (USPS) canceled the shipping label but Parts Geek never notified me. I called to report the status and customer service said they created a ticket to get this straight and send me my parts, on 7/28/2022 they marked the ticket part lost/did not arrive. I called to check the status today 8/1/2022@ 10:43am and spoke with Mike to find that they closed the first ticket (#CS-*******) without informing me or replacing my parts and customer service said they would create a ticket (#CS-*******) because there was an investigation by the warehouse as to what happened to my original parts order. I asked why haven't they sent me replacement parts for the original order because they still have my $190.29 and i just want my parts to have my car repaired that's still at the shop to waiting on axles. I asked to speak to management and if this line was being recorded but was given the cold shoulder and promised a call back,
I normally don't write reviews, but this needs to be said.
I own an auto repair shop and have done some business with parts geek in the past, I ordered a part for a customer's car that was clearly listed as the correct part for their car, My customer had gone away on vacation and then came back and got COVID so I couldn't get their car into the shop to verify the part or install it for a while, as it turns out, they're listing is incorrect. The part does not fit my customer's car and because it was just past 30 days they won't take it back. I can understand the 30-day return policy but on a part that's misrepresented and clearly doesn't fit the car it's listed to fit which was verified by a phone call to their sales team. I believe they should have taken the part back and because they didn't they lost a customer for life on one part that wasn't even a lot of money.

Answer: You'll pay plenty for shipping and if they give you the wrong part, you'll pay to ship it back. It's in their terms. You pay shipping both ways, regardless of fault.
