The company has garnered a predominantly negative reputation among customers, primarily due to significant issues with order accuracy and return processes. Many reviews highlight frustrations over receiving incorrect parts and the subsequent difficulty in obtaining refunds, with customers often bearing return shipping costs for errors not of their making. Additionally, the customer service experience is frequently described as inadequate, characterized by long wait times and unhelpful responses. While some customers noted prompt delivery of the correct items, the overall sentiment reflects a lack of reliability and support, leading to a strong recommendation to seek alternative suppliers.

My recent encounter with Partsgeek.com has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased multiple parts from them, Some of which turned out to be defective. These faulty components not only caused significant delays in diagnosing my vehicle's issues but also resulted in a frustrating and time-consuming experience.
To make matters worse, when I attempted to return a core component, Partsgeek.com refused to accept it, citing that it was outside their standard return window. This inflexible policy demonstrates their lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction. It is deeply disappointing that a reputable auto parts supplier would prioritize their return policy over rectifying the issue caused by their defective merchandise.
Furthermore, the customer service provided by Partsgeek.com has been extremely unsatisfactory. Their lack of effective communication and unhelpful responses have only added to my frustration and disappointment. It is evident that they do not value their customers or take responsibility for their subpar products.
In conclusion, my experience with Partsgeek.com has been overwhelmingly negative. The sale of defective parts and their unreasonable return policy have caused unnecessary delays and stress. I strongly advise against dealing with Partsgeek.com, as their lack of commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality is evident.
Parts agent sent wrong part although they were given all information including the vin. We returned the part. They gave us an RMA # but neglected to tell us they would be sending a label. Soooo we packaged it up, took it to UPS, and were charged 94.00. We did get the refund for the parts BUT THEY CANNOT REFUND OUR SHIPPING COST because it wasn't returned with their label. I sent them receipt of the shipping cost with the part numbers. NEVER AGAIN! Be very careful my friends.
I received my order finally after waiting for more than a week. I opened the box and they packed two boxes inside one being damaged before even shipping out. I opened the box up package inside was opened and missing hardware for me yo install it. I called several times and no one comes to the phone. I chatted with few agents online and no help. I'm very unhappy with the customer service department after me being a customer for a very long time. Finally they got back to me saying to hold on the the part because warehouse needs to investigate further. I ended up buying another part else where.
I ordered approximately $400 worth of parts got the box opened up the box and I'm missing two parts I have tried to get in contact with Geek Parts with no success they keep me on hold for 5 hours at a time I have been calling every other day and cannot get a hold of anyone! Very frustrated! I am missing a control knuckle and a wheel bearing, I am not happy with the service or parts that I received.
I will not be ordering from PartsGeek for here on out...
Nearly 2 years ago I purchased all the components to upgrade my beautiful 1998 K2500 Suburban steering and suspension. I spent hundreds on the parts and received them in a reasonable timeframe. At that time I contracted a sever case of Covid and spent a month in hospital and another 6 months on oxygen recovering. No sooner did I recover from that illness I started having other issues. It was soon discovered that I had cancer. To put it mildly the past 2 years has been tough on me. Just this week I decided to install all those parts. It was when I pulled the lower control arms out of the shipping box for the first time that I discovered that they were for a K1500 suburban. I realize I am way past the return window but I thought I would give them a chance to at least help me in some way. I spent 45 minutes on hold yesterday with their customer service line and ended up opting for their call back service. The call back never happened. This morning I called once again and after 1/2 hour on hold I again opted for the call back option. I have still not received a call back. I know that it is on me for not inspecting the parts when I first received them but it is on them for sending me the wrong parts! There are many differences between. 1500 and a 2500. How is it I received parts that will only fit a 1500 on the lower control arms and yet received parts that will only fit a 2500 on the upper control arms and everything else? Their shipping department must not be able to read a pull ticket correctly. I have used parts geek for many things in the past and will no longer use them again. I hope you will reconsider using them after reading this post. It is 100% accurate!
Part geek are a bunch of crooks. My first order it was wrong now they want to screw me now i have to pay to send it back and theni have a restock fee. Dont use parts geek! There crooks 1 star is as low as i can go id go lower!
Customer service an return department r a joke poorly run business sent the wrong part 3 times
I would not recommend buying anything from them an I will never use them again they r no help there basically a middle man
DO NOT buy here! Had to call credit card company and put a claim in for merchant dispute. Items missing from package. They claim that items lost in transit are not their responsibility. They did not get lost, they were never put in the box and the weight on the shipping label proves they were never put in the box. Terrible customer service.
I'm not even gonna play with these people! Ordered a part for car and got an empty box! I'm just gonna dispute with credit card company! How do you pack a box with paper and bubble wrap without including the product! This company is a complete scam! Paid $108.65 for an empty box. If I can give this company a ZERO STAR I WOULD!
My window pillar was correct, everything fine there! But someone decided to eat lunch while boxing my part and put the trash with it. Half empty frosty cup, fries and a crinkled up hamburger wrapper. Whoever is was doesn't like tomatoes on their burger.
The part their website said would fit my vehicle didn't. Ordered a $175 fuel pump and it was incorrect. Now after jumping through hoops to return said part they send the refund check to an address in a state I do not live, and not where the part was shipped or returned from. Now after two hours on line with customer support (in India) I have no further response other than they will get ahold of me in 24 to 48 hours with some sort of answer. I just want the money returned to the card it was charged, why is that so hard? I figure it is because they figure most people won't go through all this hassle to collect their money and now they have the part back, to sell to the next sucker, and my money which they can not tell me if I can get back yet. Complete joke of online ordering and returns and customer service with "Chad" from India and his supervisors Tim and Brad.
If you want a great price, and quick delivery these guys work. But if the part is wrong, get's lost, is damaged, you're going to get screwed. I got a part that was misrepresented in their web site, would not fit, and the only refunded me 80% of my money. Not cool.
I give ZERO STARS. This company is definitely NOT what you are looking for in honest and reliable customer service and parts. I received a Brake and rotor kit and it was not good. Caliper and pads were broken in 3 months after installation. They did not want to provide replacement or refund. It was still under warranty. They deny your request and don't even care to resolve the problem. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE from them again. You have been warned.
Brake rotors delivered to a different address. Box weighed 2 lbs instead of 30lbs!. Fed Ex stated my name and address was not on box. The picture shows a different address,, not my residence. Fraudulant activity from PartsGeek! These guys have a federal trademark yet they are into fraudulent activities. Check out all the fraud they are committing on Ebay!
ATTENTION, sorry for the long read but definitely worth your time! Use extreme caution when ordering from this Auto Parts Geek if you want your items quickly and in useable condition. NOTE there is a Good side, I received the correct gasket for an automotive repair job grant it not expensive but still not the question. Unfortunately it was folded in half and broken in two pieces due to poor attention to detail. This particular item was clearly shoved in the padded manila shipping envelope with negligence. Even though I took several photos of the broken gasket just seconds after carefully opening the package and forwarder to the seller hoping for a quick hassle free refund. As/per Auto Parts Geeks return requirements, I was instructed to send it back prior to receiving a PayPal refund, which I happily did within 1 business day. Jump forward it's been almost 2 weeks since Auto Parts Geek received my returned broken gasket. There has been NO communication nor refund. I have since reached out to eBay resolution center for help with this issue hoping for closure. I wish the best of luck to anyone ordering from this eBayer. "Please BEWARE!… You've been warned"
Do not buy at partsgeek.com as the website has wrong information and leads you to buy a part that actually does not fit to you car. In my case, the website led me to buy specific parts that would fit my car make and model, then I bought it but it actually didn't fit and when I contacted PartsGeek customer service, they just didn't care and didn't pay for the shipment back so I can get refunds. I now see that PartsGeek has very low reviews and their customer service is below average.I wish I knew before buying from them. Do not make the same mistake and look for another more reliable parts supplier company.
Absolutely horrible company will not refund your money. FedEx lost. Kept making excuses. Don't trust this company.
Brought a kit for 2000 ford f 150 and was missing one part and they wanted me to send the while box back just to get one part outta 12 parts or so that was ordered when they clearly sell the one part separately but they say can't break apart kits. Well if you can buy it separately why can't the part be sent I mean it was your employee that didn't put what I paid for in the box now I have to go in my pocket to buy the part I already brought not to have to waste anymore time and money on going 45min away just to Ship the box back off not counting pull the parts back off that I had already installed passed with parts geek rite now and I want be ordering from them it was your fault you should fixed the problem your employee didn't do their job and put all the parts in the box
I ordered 8 ignitions coils from them. It took 2 weeks to receive items. Inside the box was 2 sets of parts. 1 set didn't fit my vehicle. When I contacted them about my order, They told they sent me, they sent 8 parts I ordered. Doesn't mattered if it 2 different brand. I decided to return products. They don't provide return labels and cost is on me. They stated I had 4 day to return items or fees will be deducted from return. It took 2 weeks to get items, now I have 4 days to return it. The return process is more difficult than doing time in prison. 1 mistake and they will not accept return.
Unprofessional company and scammers.
I purchased a grille and grille emblem from PartsGeek. I called customer service to make sure I ordered the correct parts and they told me what to order. When the parts came in, the emblem was too small for the grille and hence did not fit! I immediately called and they emailed me a RMA. I returned the items, but only received part of my money back, they did not return the shipping which was $100.00, even though they told me what to order and then after it did not fit, I was told they did not have the right size emblem. So instead of contacting me to tell me this so that I could cancel the order, they just sent it and beat me out of $100.00, because they say they do not return shipping no matter what the circumstances, even if it is there own incompetence! Great way to do business!.
Answer: Because they're unprofessional, unethical, communist fuckin jackasses!
Answer: Parts geek had the rudest and most infuriating customer service I've encountered ever.
Answer: You'll pay plenty for shipping and if they give you the wrong part, you'll pay to ship it back. It's in their terms. You pay shipping both ways, regardless of fault.
Answer: Because they are either crooks, or they have some nut in the warehouse grabbing whatever and sending it to you even if it's wrong wrong wrong!
