I have never fixed an oven before, bc I've never had to. My GE Profile, which I purchased in 1999, has never needed a thing (and I am an avid cook). So, when my oven wouldn't heat up, I went to PartSelect and read the comments of other diy'ers and felt reasonably sure that a new igniter would do the trick... if it hadn't, I would have done a more thorough exploration of the problem. A few years ago I fixed my KitchenAid refrigerator, also purchased in 1999, which stopped being cold. Again, with a $40 part from PartSelect, it was fixed with 15 minutes of effort. I can't thank PartSelect and their customers enough for helping me diagnose the problem and steering me towards the correct part. (Note: I also use the internet to confirm that I'm on the right track, though, as not all symptoms result in the same problem.). Thank you again PartSelect - you've saved me from having to buy new appliances, which I understand to be much less reliable than my current ones!

PartsSelect is a great site for appliance parts. Easy to use, Diagrams were precisely marked so we knew exactly what we needed. I have a seventeen year old bosch front load washing machine. The drain pump finally went out, i ordered the drain pump from part select (witch was a original factory replacement part)
Installed the new one within forty five minutes. Now it runs just as good as the day i bought it. Just wanted to say thank you and i definitely recommend part select to everyone.

I found Parts Select with a web search. Now I don't need to search. Just go to the site and order the needed parts. Parts arrived in short order. I am a do-it-yourself kind of person, installation was a piece of cake.

Helped me identify the correct model number to replace my burned out bake element in my 30 year OLD GE oven. Watched their online video on how to replace, asked my husband for the nut driver, and got it done. Called to place order, and customer service representative was fantastic. Reasonable price and FAST shipping. All other sites listed 7-10 business days. Would order from them again for both the service and fast delivery.

My part was originally out of stock (and it was very clear that was the case). I ordered it anyway and it took about 5 days to be back in stock (not unreasonable). My part was sent via. Fedex on 11/15 from Louisville, KY to Lockport, NY (USPS would take 2-3 days to send anything). This part weighs maybe 1 ounce at the most not to be misunderstood as an oversize package... Today is day 14 and according to tracking, my package will be delivered in 3 more days. This is unacceptable.

Our dishwasher was extremely loud and dishes were not getting as clean. The draining was also loud. We ordered the motor/pump and the drain pump and the parts arrived quickly, well packaged and complete. We were able to replace the two parts ourselves and the dishwasher is once again quiet and working well. A hair tie (elastic) appears to have been the downfall of the old motor. We did not see anything wrong with the drain pump but we didn't pull anything apart.

I ordered the exact replacement for one of the racks of our dishwasher, and an entirely different one was delivered. Now we have to return, not sure if we should try a second time? Such a pain. Thoughts?
