It is a huge selection of bags and purses, I sat there for two days trying to find exactly what I wanted to buy, it was a tough choice but I made it.
I thought I was saving about $80, but it turns out the items were $200 Overpriced on Overstock. They list Walker Edison products under the name Middlebrook Designs at a premium price and they only price match major retailers. Be careful when using this site, as they are most likely rebranding items, raising the cost, and then assigning a fake discount to the item. They also have a 30 min cancellation policy, otherwise they send the item to you and say it was already processed. Then they charge you to ship it back, unless you're Club O. Oh well…
I ordered a shelf unit with their Presidential Sale. They would not allow coupon use due to special sale. The next day the same item was discounted even further, but overstock will not do a price adjustment even though they did not ship my item yet. Same sale, different price. Their prices seem to change constantly so you never know if price is lowest. Further, they wont let you cancel order.
I found out Wayfair offers a 7 day price adjustment if price you paid is reduced. Wayfair seems more reputable. So i ordered remaining items for closet system from Wayfair. Got Better pricing too.
I won't ever use Overstock again. I caution anyone who does. You will be disappointed.
I bought 3 rugs costing $121.00 to return without having paid $20 for a year of free shipping, "O" plan cost $126.00. WHAT? And the customer service rep confirmed it. The catch is if you purchase the "O" plan, you get free shipping but you dont get your money back, it will only be a store credit so you are locked in. Being a first time customer online, this was a shock and I will never purchase from them again. I will see how much it will cost me to ship myself. I will probably have to come out of my pocket more, like purchase insurance and receipt of delivery acceptance for extract proof that they received the rugs I never used.
Beware of using the "no" interest for 12 mos - 18 mos. If you make multiple purchases and pay over an above the minimum due, they don't take your "overpayment" and apply it to the oldest no-interest transaction. They spread it across all of your transactions so you THINK you are paying more per month to pay off the oldest transaction. Nope. I was hit with over $3k in interest for owing.50 on one transaction and $1.41 on another and.99 on a third. They don't apply and pay off because if it goes past the final due date, they collect interest on the past 12 - 18 months. Awful. Good luck Overstock with your "stock" value when everyone starts filing bankruptcy because you are raping them with your "finance" charges. Awful, shameful and disgusting practice.
Overstock will not let me cancel my order, even though it is delayed, with no estimated delivery date! Hopefully, they will let me return it, with no shipping fees, but who knows, given the other reviews here.
MY PURCHSE ARRIVED 5 DAYS BEHIND THEIR CLAIM. I stand by my recommendation to review the customer reviews before buying from any vendor. Online information shows 1.3 stars only for Overstock.
I purchased an item. I thought. I got a glitzy note about how my item had arrived and have an unboxing party. The item NEVER arrived, PERIOD! OS told me to find it myself because by God, our computer says it arrived! Too late I discovered their poor review record.

I want everyone to know that overstock/commenity bank has sent me a bill on a account that was closed and when I wouldn't pay it they will sent me to collections and Equifax to ruin my credit score, Its illegal and I have turned it into the FTC as a fraud. They Lied to me about it being there mistake and they would reverse the charges, That never happened. They just keep sending bills with late charges, They should be Held responsible for this activity. Never get an account or credit card with this company.
Overstock contacted me after this review & sent me the replacement parts at no charge to me. They had to send me another dresser for me to get the parts I need and return the rest, but they paid for the shipping. Their pro-active actions have changed my opinion & I will now continue doing business with them in the future.
This should be a zero star. I bought a dresser from them, and it came with a broken plastic leg. It also had horrible assembly instructions and quite difficult to do - took 4 hours. When I stood the dresser up another leg broke. I went to their website and requested replacement parts. Never heard back so I had to call them. They said it would cost me $28 to get replacement parts plus shipping. I told them that that's unacceptable, so I wanted a return & refund. They told me I would have to pay the return shipment label of $240. Basically, they accept no responsibility for their cheap products. I wrote a review like this one on their website for this product & they removed it. So, their reviews are censored. I will never do business with them ever and you should not either.
I purchased a dresser from Overstock. The poor quality of the dresser and Overstock is horrendous. It was meant to last my son through college. It will be lucky to last a year. Particle board is so weak that hardware strips out when you try to move the dresser. Drawers are wobbly. Dresser is wobbly. Absolute piece of junk. I tried to return on the website and they wanted to charge $147 for the shipping label. Practically blackmail. I contacted customer service, nearly in tears, and the best option they could provide was for me to pay for their annual membership so that I could return the piece of junk that I paid for. I cannot believe this is acceptable to Overstock. I will never shop from this company again. I would understand if this was MY fault, but the quality is an absolute joke and this is NOT satisfactory. I have never in my life been so disappointed with a company.
This review was denied by the company, so you can't even trust customer reviews that they have on their website, because they have probably taken out the honest ones.
I bought a door mat from Overstock for $34.00. It was the wrong color and the quality was poor. I started the return process and since I was not a member which costs $19.99 annually the return shipping was going to cost $32. So, they recoup the amount of the sale in the shipping. Needless to say, I kept the rug. Lesson learned: do not shop at Overstock.
Overstock sent me a damaged item and when I requested a refund they offered me a credit towards a future purchase. How insulting, like I would buy something else from them. If the item is damaged give me a refund! Period, no questions asked, other legit companies wouldn't make a sketchy offer like that.
Horrible company with horrible products and horrible customer service.
I ordered a huge wardrobe, it arrived in 3 big boxes. I opened all the boxes but noticed that the instructions manual was missing. I contacted them, they sent me the manual in 3 days. Then I started assembling the product and noticed a part was missing. They did not send me an important part required to finish the assembly. When I contacted them, they asked me to wait for 4-5 business days for the part to be shipped.
With such huge pieces of furniture in my room, how am I supposed to wait for weeks together to finish the assembly. When I contacted the customer care, they were terrible in assisting me upto my satisfaction. Never going to buy anything from overstock again.
I ordered patio furniture it took over two weeks to receive. And I received one box every few days they did not ship it at the same time or it wasn't put on the truck at the same time whatever the reason was it took a week for me to get the last box. I have not even opened all of the boxes. I received the last box left late yesterday and when I went online to check and see what was going on I noticed that the patio furniture was on sale for $231 less than what I paid for it. So this morning I called and asked for a price adjustment I don't think that's unreasonable it's been less than 30 days. And their answer was no it had to be less than seven days! I have spent thousands of dollars in the past year or two on Overstock and I'm very unsatisfied with their customer service. I could've gone directly to the company and ordered this item but I chose to stay with Overstock and I'm truly disappointed I will never do that again. Overstock needs to make good on the price adjustments when an item goes on sale within 30 days.! I even asked if I could return the item and then re-order it at the sale price and she told me I have to pay for shipping what kind of bull$#*! is that just give me the damn price adjustment! I won't be doing business in overstock anymore.
By the time you read this it will be too late! If you click onto their website you will, from then onwards, be bombarded with daily email advertising from them. You cannot stop this. If you click on the "UNSUBSCRIBE" box, nothing will happen. Instead the website has confirmation of your email address and will continue to bombard you with daily, incessant, email rubbish. My friends have admitted to this problem too. You cannot stop this even by labelling incoming mail as JUNK as Overstock deliberately changes its email heading address daily to avoid cancellation of the daily bombardment.
They actually rose their prices for Cyber Monday. All of the items I've been adding to my cart increased in pricing by about 8%. Ridiculous
2 chat agents disconnected my CS chat when they couldn't find the answer to resolve my issue. I guess they no longer want to be bothered so cut the chat before it was done. When customer service suffers so do customers: (
I ordered full set of dining chairs and a table, both came damaged. Hours spent unpacking, assembling, only to learn that chair holes were badly drilled and sent stripped screws. The top of a dining table had three distinct discolorations, no way to keep it. I called, emailed, requested replacements only if their so-called third party vendor would scrutinize furniture before sending. Customer service sent written confirmation that Vendor would carefully check quality before sending, even suggested I toss original packaging since they would guarantee problem solved. The second sets came damaged, turns out no Vendor did any pass on them. In order to now return off to Home Depot to buy heavy duty 22 x 22 x 22 boxes, packing tape, and spend an evening dis-assembling, moving into new boxes, prepping them for return pick up. Not an apology nor explanation from Overstock, nothing. Took hour today taping everything up to wait yet again all day for pick up to return.
Can't squeeze through my apartment hall, see all the four big hefty boxes waiting. UPS would not help me up stoop as Overstock promised, I did all the heavy lifting and banged up arms and elbows pushing 70 pound boxes into my place. Lesson learned: do not trust Overstock. It's easily to love the photos but no oversight of quality of furniture, poor customer service and I belatedly learned, an abundance of four star reviews prompted by offers of $20 credits. They edit the poor ones.

I am in the process of obtaining a 10x10 commercial grade canopy. A search on Google informed Overstock.com have them in stock. I am apprehensive about the durability of the frame so I wanted to see the product in person before making a purchase. I contacted Overstock.com via *******446 and verified the location (******* NW 57th Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL) and hours of operation before I made the 45 minute drive there. The employee assured me the store was open and we verified the location's address. I drove to the location, and it's a medical office, which the medical employee stated has been operational for approximately 1.5 years. I called Overstock.com again and the assistant gave the same location as open. Thereafter, he verified and updated that Overstock.com only operates as an online retailer.
Because of this error, I wasted much valuable time, which can never be replaced. My only available option is to never recommend or patronize this business ever again.

Answer: Hey, I would be very careful. I have transacted with Overstock three times and I don't believe there is as much security in terms of guarantee as with Amazon. And, if you buy items fulfilled by Amazon (meaning the product ships from Amazon's warehouse) you are even more guaranteed. For example, I bought some dinner napkins from an Amazon seller, fulfilled by Amazon. They were not what they were supposed to be and Amazon issued me a credit immediately and scheduled UPS to pick up my item to return. I'm very confident that with Amazon you will get quality service and if the product is not as described or substandard you will be in better hands especially with Amazon fulfilled items. Overstock is just not up to par and I wouldn't purchase something like a medicated cream from Overstock until they get it together.
Answer: I used a credit card on Overstock when purchasing my bed. It was years ago, I still sleep on it. I had no problems using my credit card on Overstock
