I have used overnightprints for nearly a decade for both client materials and my small business. I find them very reliable and producing good quality prints. Great range of business card types from mini to sandwich cards. I've ordered flyers, tri-fold brochures and postcards and they always turned out good. The web interface is really cool, showing 3D preview of my uploaded designs.

This is my second review after complete incompetence by Overnight Prints!

My original order was place almost two and a half months ago. I ordered sandwich business cards - I received the original order very defective and went through their silly protocol (once again - I've never received an order I did not have to request a re-print). I was assured I would receive the re-order in two weeks. Two weeks went by and still no order received - I reached out via email and phone calls and did not get a return email/call one time. Today, I finally received my re-order (month and a half later) and what do you know, same mistake plus two new mistakes! Now, I'm going through the same SILLY process again and I'm told my order can't move to the front of production because they have too many new orders to get out!?

Worst business experience of my 10 years in business. Please, all of you, never order with this company! You will be greatly dissatisfied, let alone the amount it will effect your business - I've been without business cards for over two months and I've had countless events, meetings, etc. I'm sure all you know how unprofessional it is when a potential client ask for a business card (on multiple occasions) and you are empty handed both times - direct reflection of how our potential, future business relationship may be perceived.

Again, never, ever use Overnight Prints!

I tried to speak to an agent about a refund for my order because it did not arrive in the time promised. They proceeded to tell me that delivery isn't guaranteed, which I find odd considering that the website is full of advertising saying that it is. I paid over $350 for shipping to get time sensitive material that, by the time it was delivered, was useless to me. The customer service rep told me that they could only refund the shipping difference, which, to me, does not right the situation. I expected a full refund. Not only was there false advertising in this situation but a lack of consideration in validating my complaint. I now have no trust in Overnight Prints for future orders, especially since there seems to be no accountability for the claims made on the site. I had to go to another source and pay $1200 to get these items printed, which I could have just done in the first place. I chose OP because I had been pleased in the past and thought my order would be in my hands as promised. The quality was fine, so I would say if time is your biggest factor, (ironically) stay way form "Overnight" Prints

I've used Overnight Prints for the past 2-3 years for our business, and until recently they had always been consistent. I had major problems with my last few orders, and will not be continuing to use them.
I ordered 500 bookmarks, and about 1/3 of them had a coating error that made them unusable. I did receive replacements about a week later, but they were cut incorrectly so they were not usable either. I didnt even bother to ask for replacements
At the same time as this, I'd ordered 200 booklets from them. There was a problem with the original files I sent, which took nearly 2 weeks to work out, due to 24-48h response time to emails. After that I waited a week to find out that the person helping me had forgotten to remove the hold on my order. I was guaranteed to receive it in the next 3 days, waited 6 without receiving any communication, and when I inquired about my order status I was told they were having technical issues. At that point, it had been almost a month, so I just canceled the order.
They didn't offer any compensation or other solutions, or even really care that I was canceling my account.
I will not be using Overnight Prints again. Waiting 2 days for an email back, simply forgetting to remove order holds, and sending damaged replacements is unacceptable.

Forgotten Order
January 7, 2017

BE AWARE: This company completely forgot our order. We had to message them the day before our trade-show to find out. They didn't even know.

Their customer service was sub par at best, as they didn't even offer a solution, when asked I was given the following response:

" Do you want me to follow up with you via email once we get an update from production? "

I am not kidding.

What a RIP OFF...
May 27, 2016

This is by far the worst Company I have EVER dealt with. They won't even fix their mistakes after they agreed to refund my money they never have. I have told everyone I know to stay clear of them. Very poor quality workmanship and they take forever. They only ripped me off for around thirty dollars but it has cost them several hundred in business.

Poor Quality
January 22, 2016

Although the labels I ordered arrived in a timely fashion, they were totally useless because the printing was so far off-center.

I ordered a large quantity of postcards that arrived in two shipments. I don't think they thought I would actually count them, but I was shorted by 500 cards. When I contacted customer service, they were very dismissive, stating that their records indicated that all 2500 were sent (obviously, otherwise you wouldn't send them.), and that they could do a "reprint" for the remaining 500. A customer service manager refused to upgrade the shipping time on the last part of the order, despite the fact that it was their mistake. Be careful when you're ordering large quantities from this company, make sure you get everything you paid for, and good luck if you ever have to contact customer service.

Choose somebody else!
November 6, 2015

I ordered 500 jumbo postcards to be printed and mailed by Overnight Prints using their mail service. The cards were to be personally addressed to the potential customer. Overnight Prints forgot to include the name of the business in the address line - an important component given the marketing message. To add insult to injury, they didn't want to offer a 'make good' on the important error. Further, the front of the card I received had a scuff mark across an important word. That was blamed on the USPS. Maybe true, but my company has mailed out 10s of thousands of cards and receives several postcards weekly from other businesses. None of those contained scuff marks. I'm fine with a company making an error as long as they stand behind their product. Clearly, Overnight Prints does not stand behind its inferior product. Avoid.

I normally use a different printer, but I had overnightprints.com print some postcards for me. The print quality was very poor. The photographs looked awful and the text was very rough as well. On top of that, the packaging was poor. Half of the cards arrived bent. The spot varnish was not even close to being aligned. Definitely don't pay extra for that, since it'll look cheap.

After chatting online for a half hour, they offered me 50% off as a store credit!

No thanks. I tried to save a few bucks and get cards printed quickly, but it wasn't worth the hassle. Lesson learned. These went in the recycling bin and I got replacements printed elsewhere, where the exact same files came out looking beautiful.

They might be OK if you don't care too much about quality. But if you're in a creative field where clients expect a certain level of quality, this isn't your place.

We had used this company a few times for bookmarks. Their uploading program is crap and not suited for the purpose, but following THEIR guidelines for images forces the buyer to have to pay for a review before printing. In said review, they kick back all of your order and show you a preview with nice, even four sided white border warning you that the bleed will cause these white borders. They looked amazing, so why not have them?
When I put that on the approval, the FOUR SIDES OF EQUAL SIZING they printed the order.
What did I get?
One set had a thick white line along the top (on a black background). Where are the other three lines?
The next set has two white lines that weren't remotely close to being the same size.
OCD. OCD. OCD.
All of the sets were poorly printed like this. The glossy finish one some didn't match the glossy finish on another. They weren't cut the same size, which is strange considering they use a die to cut them.
Their customer service is the worst I have had the displeasure of having to deal with and as a result, and getting the big F-U from their customer support, I have disputed the charges. They can have their bookmarks back and shove them up their asses for all I care.
This author and publishing company will make sure that ALL indie authors looking for reasonably priced swag stay as far away from overnightprints.com as possible.

I placed an order with this business on 11/12/14 and paid for an expedited shipment to arrive on 11/19. They e-mailed on 11/14, telling me that there was an error in the printing process which warranted a reprint... great quality is important to them, yet they never mentioned an delays in the delivery schedule. On 11/19, I had not received them by the early afternoon, so I both e-mailed and called to explain that I specifically paid for the expedited delivery to arrive on 11/19 based on the fact that I have a networking event the evening of 11/20 in which I need the business cards. The customer service rep with whom I spoke told me, after getting approval from a manager, that my order would be overnighted to arrive on 11/20.

I never received the order by late afternoon on 11/20, and instead got an e-mail with my tracking number, which showed my package would not arrive until 11/24. I called to inquire further: Am I now to understand that this order not only was not overnighted as promised, but that your reps out and out lie to customers? Had I known there was no way that this order would arrive in time for my event tonight, I would not have paid the expedited shipping fee.

While it only amounted to $5-$6 extra for the expedited shipping, I ask if they can at the very least refund this amount as a reasonable customer service gesture. There response was no, but we can send you a free shipping return label if you would like to send the order back and get a full refund. The string of events certainly left me at a loss. No offer of any kind refund or 30% off your next order, etc.; there seemed to be some many opportunities for simple customer service gesture to build loyalty and to bring me back again.

I am hoping that at least the product ordered turns out well.

Really impressed
November 3, 2010

Really impressed. I got business cards from them a couple of times. The print quality was really quite good and the card stock itself wise nice and sturdy. I felt good giving them out b/c they didn't feel cheap or homemade. Thumbs up all around.

I ordered business cards through overnightprints.com, because I needed them fast, and I hoped they would do the job sufficiently. It was not clear to me that I needed to select any particular option in order to receive the prints quickly, but apparently you do, since it took about 2 weeks to receive the cards! Not only was it slow, but I opened the envelope my cards were unceremoniously stuffed into, and they were poorly printed. I have a graphic design background, so I know I set up my bleeds correctly, but the cards almost all had a white edge (it was supposed to be blue). It looked like the whole thing was printed too high and the color got cut off on the bottom. Also, the edges had a strange orange tint, and some were damaged because of the poor packaging. I was very disappointed, and I want to warn others that the quality may not be up to par. Also, I feel that the name of the company is quite misleading--it is NOT overnight, or even necessarily within a week. I didn't get around to calling the company until after the 30 day deadline (which also was not obvious on the site) so I cannot receive a reprint, or repayment. So, I hope you have better luck, but watch out.
