These guys are not in the printing business, they are in the overpriced shipping business. After going through the entire process, you'll find that they jack-up shipping rates 500% if you want it delivered in a reasonable time.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They will not center your business cards they chopped off the borders during production and customer service is not helpful. I spoke Dennis who was a supervisor and they REFUSE to pay for shipping on new cards. Could you believe they are so desperate for money that $7.95 they would not pay. 500 cards for 60.00 is to expensive not to receive a quality product. This company have a lot of 2 stars, save your money and your energy DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THAT DON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.
I was moving and needed to quickly order business cards before my move. It took several days and when my order finally arrived, they sent me the wrong thing! I called to have my order fixed and resent to me. They offered to send me the correct item but that it would take 5 additional days for me to receive it. Even though they sent me the wrong thing, they would not ship my items in a timely manner even though I had paid for the shipping to arrive before I moved. Very disappointed in the quality of the product and customer service. Their online portal to create business cards is very glitchy as well. The manager did not do the right thing by accommodating my time frame, and I won't ever be ordering anything from this company again. Unreliable.
Great service! I've used Overnightprints.com and I love the online order process! I highly recommend!
I ordered business cards for a friend which i needed in a hurry, so i was delighted to see this company - until i dealt with them. I got an automated email that told me to create an account so i could find out what was wrong with my order. When I did, i got a message that said "Bad Queue," with no explanation. It told me that there was a problem, and sent me to a list of 1000 glitches they have with their templates - one of which i used - but wouldn't tell me which one, so i could fix it. My choices were to "proceed with order," in which case they wouldn't take responsibility for whatever mistake is in their template for this card, or "edit," which i did, but they then used that as an excuse to delay the order by three days, which i had just put in earlier that day and paid extra to get it, not overnight, which costs $30 extra for $7.00 business cards, but in four days - now seven. The whole point of "overnight prints," i thought, was "overnight." Stay away. This is a scam. I wish they didn't have my credit card information.
An order was placed on May 22nd and as of June 25th, i still haven't received my product. They won't reply with an email other than my order is in production
Here is a transcript of a chat I just had --
Chris: Hello
Chris: We have not heard from you for some time. Do you wish to continue to chat?
Ian: I am following up an order
Ian: *******
Ian: I don't know why it's taking so long to receive this order?
Ian: I have not heard anything form you
Chris: checking
Chris: I'll contact our manager to clarify the situation with your order and we'll ship out it asap
Chris: We can proceed with compensation for the delay once the order is received
Ian: what does that mean
Chris: That means the order is too long in production and we need to clarify why it wasn't shipped yet
Ian: okay
Ian: I just want to know when I can anticipate delivery of the order
Chris: Unfortunately we cannot provide a new estimated delivery date for this moment. We need to get an update from our production staff at fist.
You'll get a notification email once the order is shipped with tracking
Ian: I've been waiting for that email since 5/29
Ian: My level of confidence that I will receive such an email is very low
Chris: Unfortunately I cannot proceed with a resolution right now without any updates
Ian: so is someone going to reach out to give me an update once you've acquired the clarity you need?
Chris: if the notification email will not be received this week you can contact us via email/ chat
Ian: That level of customer service is totally lacking
Ian: You've had an order in your system for nearly a month
Ian: When I ask if someone is going to contact me for an update I assume that I'm lobbing in a softball to you - that of course someone will reach out - but, no.
Ian: If I don't get an automatically generated email in another week -- I must then follow up? Are you kidding me? Who is taking ownership, who in your organization cares enough to actually see this issue through
Ian: I'm very disappointed!
Chris: Have a nice day!
The name overnight is not accurate. My order took over 5 days and the customer service people were rude and not helpful at all.
Obviously misprinted businesses cards and after back and forth emailing they said its less than 1/16 inch off (it was definitely more) they won't be fixing the problem. No reprinting and no refunding. I spent over $100 on 250 cards and they look like crap! They even admitted to seeing the defect: "We can see the issue that you mention but it is still within the limits." WOW!
I've used them multiple times and suggested them to others but their customer service is terrible and as a "gold member" I'll never spend another cent there. Terrible!
Very telling that they don't let you write reviews on their Facebook.
Self-design software was sloppy. Type was tiny with no way to know that before ordering. Prints were uncentered and every card had black marks, totally useless. Then customer service jerked me around for several days when I tried resolve it reasonably. They should be ashamed.
Remember this is a prepay business. So they have your money before you have a chance to see what you are getting. If you had a chance to view and handle the finished product and approve it, before paying, maybe they wouldn't let these things happen. But they do. What a waste.
I created custom birthday cards for a birthday on the 28th. I ordered them on the night of the 24th and paid $20 for 2 day shipping with a delivery date of the 27th.
The cards did not come until the 30th, 3 days later than what I paid for and 2 days later than when I needed them by.
After contacting customer service they offered me a $6 refund for the product being delivered "in 3 days" and not 2 days because it was delivered 3 days PAST the original promised delivery date. This product was delivered in 5 days total not 3 days. Yet somehow they think delivering it 3 days past the delivery date means they can charge for 3 day shipping.
Then they continue to say their shipping dates are just estimates so its not their fault even though they charge for expedited shipping based on those promised dates and even have an entire page dedicated to guaranteeing their shipping times and not being fooled by others delivery promises. Completely idiotic and a total scam, horrible customer service, and will never ever use them again.
Had business cards overnighted to a hotel for a conference I was speaking at. They screwed up the cards. It's been 10 days later and over 32 emails with them (first email included the order number, the proof I had approved, and a pic of the awful mess they had sent) and they still keep responding in broken english and won't give me my money.
DO NOT GIVR THESE PEOPLE YOUR TRUST, YOUR MONEY OR YOUR BUSINESS. YOU WILL REGRET IT.
In general, one shouldn't have to be asking their Credit Card company to proceed with a transaction dispute to resolve an issue with a merchant, and yet such is where I've found myself with Overnight Prints.
I ordered decently simple business cards with one-and-a-half weeks lead time to arrive several days before an industry show I needed them for, yet the cards never arrived. Trying to follow up with them between the scheduled delivery date and the start of the show, I asked what my options were. I was told that I could either get a free reprint with the same delivery window - which would arrive well after I needed the supplies - or they could begin an investigation into what happened with the cards and potentially process a refund. I requested the latter and was told that I should expect an email in the coming days.
A week later, the email has never come, and I'm calling to ask for an update and again request a refund. This time an email_does_ come, and I'm told the following:
"In reviewing all of the options I think I may have come up with a resolution that will meet your needs. Please choose from one of the following:
1. If you choose to keep the product, Overnight Prints can issue a 50% store credit for the product cost towards a future order. Store credits never expire and can be used with other discounts on future orders.
2. We can reprint the order with the same delivery terms ordered."
The proposed resolutions are particularly tone-deaf considering I had already (1) expressed a desire to receive a refund and, (2) had tried to make it obvious over the phone that I did not have a use for the cards at this time. From this experience, I get the strong sense that my concerns were not adequately conveyed within the team. Given such, I find myself less surprised that my cards never arrived.
Suffice to say they should not expect my business anytime soon.
I had gotten my catalogs printed through them and received them with marks all over my catalogs. I contact them right away and they did not respond to me. Once they did, and I sent them photos of the defective product they have ignored every email or response I have sent them. They won't reprint my products, and my clients are very disappointed.
It's probably best just to do it somewhere you can communicate with.
If they mess up, they won't claim responsibility for it.
Better safe than sorry.
I ordered my business cards from them 2 weeks ago still haven't received it. I tried calling them asking for a refund and they simply replied NO because my order is stuck in transit. They keep saying the management will get back to me and they never did. I am stuck right now and can't even get my refund. Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life and will never order it from again.
Placed a simple order for business cards on 12/24. They were guranteed for deliver on 1/10. Called 1/10 when they weren't received and was told they were lost in transit and would reprint and ship out in 5-7 days. 1/31 Still not received, spoke with customer service again and was told there was a problem with the delivery address. Explained that I have ordered many times before and there was never a delivery address problem before. Asked for a refund and was told NO - Are you kidding me...
I wish I had not ordered business cards from Overnight Prints. Every card in the box has a white mark on it, which clearly should've been caught by quality control. Customer Service is useless. I've been talking to them for a week and getting nowhere.
I will never order from this company again.
The logo on the card has been blurred out to protect my client. YOu can see the white mark on the upper right. It's on every card (500 cards!).
SCAM!
Overnight prints turned out to be over 5 days. Missed the event. The flyers were then useless. No refund
Craziest thing is that on the delivery day they wrote to say they hadn't even printed them yet, and they'd come when they felt like sending them. So I told them to cancel them. It was in that moment that they went ahead and printed them so they could charge me... yet still delivery was another 3 days
Appalling. Everything they say in their advertising is untrue. And they aren't even that cheap. I could have got this rushed locally for far better quality and on time for 10% more
I ordered two different business cards of 500 ea. They said 5-7 days. Two weeks passed and nothing. Called and they realized they hadn't been printed much less shipped. I told them I needed them asap for a convention and they said they could ship them express but I had to pay for the additional shipping. I asked why since it was there mistake, they stated that's all they can do. I asked for a supervisor and told me that there is none that could help me. That they can submit a request for them to call but they probably won't since they are too busy. I was amazed at this. A week later I receive the business cards. They were not as I designed them. The ink was so light compared to the computer design, it wasn't even visible. I had ordered a set that are all black with white lettering and all the cards had a red line along the edges of the cards. Absolutely horrible. I took pictures of all the defects, at the end I ended up losing since I knew nothing was going to be done. I shredded the cards and recycled them. I ended up ordering my usual Vistaprint's cards, which were perfect, just not in time for my convention.
Answer: They are a scam. They will take your money and they'll send you back the worst products you've ever seen. My business cards had long white space along the right side and along the bottoms. The bottom area was cut crooked. They blamed this on my professionally-created artwork (by a national company that has done tens of thousands of previous business card designs) and then refused to make it right or refund my money. Spend the $5-10 more it takes to get it done right, go ANYplace else but these guys.
Answer: It's easy to get a hold of their customer service but they are useless if you need help.
Answer: The same thing happened to me and they refuse to give me my money back!
