Trying to run a business. You order parts, you expect them to show up on time based on prior orders. This order shipped the day we should have received it.
Perfect Materials - Perfect Cuts - Perfect Will Call Pickup Service.
The Website does NOT sort materials by Pickup Location, if it did I would order a lot more from them. It is very frustrating for me to have to call and see if each item is available at the Portland Location. I order in 6 foot to 8 foot lengths almost exclusively, so a shipping option I am never interested in. The Website needs updated to show availability at my Will-Call location. Until then my purchases will be limited from this vendor instead of exclusive.

I purchased some SS sheet and the incorrect gauge was shipped. The gauge shipped was half the thickness of what I ordered. Upon contacting OnlineMetals, I was asked to provide documentation of the error. After receiving this documentation, it was immediately reshipped with the correct gauge stainless. Received correct shipment in about 3 days after making contact.

Most of the time I receive my order within 2-3 days, and have become accustomed to expect that. Things happen and the last order was delayed by 3 days and then UPS took another 3 days to deliver it. I know this was not normal and your team is working to improve these delays, (according to a Online Metals Rep.), and I'm still happy to be a customer!

Great selection, good prices, I've only ordered mild steel but the quality seems fine. The metal welds good. My last order of angle iron was not cut straight though, all the ends were cut on a little bit of an angle. That's been the only problem I have ever had. Will continue to buy my metal from them. Delivery is pretty quick since there only maybe 60 miles away, I order and have delivery because I have no way to haul the stuff I order.

Ordered hard-to-find perforated steel sheets to use as panels in the cabinet doors on my great room built-ins where I will have A/V equipment. I was looking to mimic the door panels found on my high-end Salamander Design audio cabinets. The carbon steel sheets were cut exactly to my specifications, shipped promptly and packed incredibly well to prevent damage. After spray painting with primer followed by a few coats of gloss black, they look amazing and indistinguishable from the Salamander audio cabinets I have in other rooms in the house. Wish I could include installed pics, but I'm waiting for the retainer molding from the cabinet maker Thanks OnlineMetals!

We received our order, but unfortunately, it came damaged during shipping. OM's Rep, Lyn was on top of the problem and arrived at a solution immediately. Our replacement piece arrived MUCH BETTER packaged, preemptive any possible abuse from the carrier. The packaging was so well done that UPS could have played free throw with it and the piece inside would still be fine.

There are other places to buy raw materials. Cheaper places. But the customer service of onlinemetals can't be beat. My order had some shipping difficulties and it wasn't going to be delivered on time. Customer service immediately fixed it and sent replacement material overnight. Top notch service and a reputable company. 10/10 I'll definitely be back to order more.
