The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

I haven't use this before can't say it's the best for me yet until I try it. I think it really invade to make us do this
Took me no more then 5 minutes to order and download my tickets. Everything seems to be in correct order. I have no issues with my shopping experience. Two thumbs up!
Its was easy to by and the attention by phone was very good. We ate exciting to go to the basketball game at Christiams day
This is ridiculous. I just want the tickets that I (over)paid for. Just, stop...
We've spent a whole day trying to "verify" our information with OnlineCityTickets to no avail. Now our kids cannot go to the Nutcracker. Thank you for ruining our Christmas. It's not like we're trying to buy a car...
I don't like the fact that my name is not on tickets - and now I worry about entering the event with another persons name. Don't like this about online city tickets and will probably use another agency going forward. Service fees were way too high. I don't like my first time experience with this vendor.
Watch out -- they'll tell you the price, but they won't mention the service fees ($30/ticket) until after you've given them your credit card.
So far so good. Fast and secure. Hopefully things will go smooth once l get to the venue. First time trying OnlineCityTickets.com and the only thing that bothers me is the service charge. It's almost like buying another set of tickets.
Service fees are way too high but process was smooth to get tickets! In the future I will be doing more research to find a site with fee's that may be lower.
Bought tickets for an event in Montreal, Canada from Montreal.
To me as Canadian the price seemed to be ok, but then about 30% was charged as service fees and on top of that the price appears to be in US dollars which made the price 2 times higher than expected.
That is unfair.
Do not recommend it.
Now I know where I should not buy the tickets.
Was very happy to finally get tickets after trying Ticketmaster several times and wouldn't work for me. Called the bank and they said it was to do with Ticketmaster as it wasn't anything to do with my card..
How do I get the tickets please mail the tickets to me I paid for them and I do not understand this process
Prompt delivery appreciated. Looking forward to seeing TSO. Merry Christmas, haven't got anything else to say.
Quick and easy way to secure tickets to shows in town. Hassle free, fast, secure. Glad to know there are options when it comes to ticket purchasing.
We couldnt buy tickets with any argentinian card, so one friend of mine that lives on the United States had to buy the Tickets for me, you must fix this problem soon. However it was a nice experience.
Although the main screen says this is a marketplace exchange service, I really didn't examine what that meant because the link seemed to come from the Theatre Website? I became concerned when my name was not on the tickets. This made me very unsettled. I did not cancel the order after seeing the warranty on the Event Tickets Center web page. However, I am still a little concerned.
The cost of purchase was a little much in my opinion. However, I was able to get closer seats than was available on the Theatre page. So I resigned myself to the extra expense but feel as though there are independent persons buying blocks of good tickets to sell at an inflated rate. This does not make me feel positive about the experience. Seems like legalized scalping? Just my opinion. I gave a rating of 3 because I should have read a little more before I pushed the purchase button.
Fees are high, e-delivery was quick. Tickets cost $300 fees were $98.00, I think thats a bit much dont you? Next time I will research cheaper sites.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
