The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

I get that you can charge above-market prices, but really, $75 per ticket--come on! This was my first time on the site and I won't be using it again
They boosted the prices of the tickets that we were looking at on our phone once we got onto the computer by a few hundred bucks. Then they charged nearly $600 in service fees, which is really insane. I will not be ordering from them again.
The fees ended up being WAY more than the face value (1 1/2TIMES MORE!) on the tickets! Don't think I'll use this site again.
It was Very easy and fast ordering tickets on here and would and will definitely order again from this site... Thanks for making it easy...
Fees were more than a quarter of what the ticket was worth. Too expensive. Would have purchased more tickets if fees were less. Also, not sure what the fees cover. I did all the work. Would like to get the $100+ paid in fees refunded.
There is a different issued to name on these tickets and the price on the tickets as much lower than what you charged me. After reading some of your reviews on the little bit concerned
Would have liked to see where I was sitting before buying but who cares at this point I'm going to Hamilton!
I hear that tickets in Ticketmaster where much cheaper. I feel we paid too much using his vendor.
Unclear why this happened.
THEY HAD GENERAL ADMISSION-STANDING ROOM ONLY AND SECTION SRO ROW GO4 TICKETS TO CHOOSE FROM NOT KNOWING BECAUSE I NEVER BEEN TO THE PAGEANT. I CHOOSE SECTION SRO ROW G04 SEAT 1011 & *******, THINKING I WOULD GET A SEAT. I CALL THE PAGEANT AND WAS TOLD SRO MEANT STANDING ROOM ONLY. THIS WAS VERY MISLEADING. I'M UPSET THAT I HAVE TO STAND TO SEE A SHOW. (CALL THE VENUE BEFORE PAYING FOR YOUR TICKETS)
This was by far the best way to buy tickets. So quick and easy. We will def use Online City Tickets again, and again!
You had the wrong seating chart for the Chrysler Hall. Row N was not the first row of a section in the Orchestra. I specifically asked for a front row as I was attending the the Broadway with my young daughter and wanted to make sure she could see the performance. I called initially to buy tickets for row A in the balcony, and you explained to me the tickets in the balcony were random assigned and row N is the front of the section and know one would be sitting in front of us... again, you had the wrong seating chart. I will be contacting my credit card company to see if I can get my money back due to false advertising.
I love this.It is great that they keep you up to date on up coming events. It is so easy to order tickets and they keep you up to date on your order.
Ill submit a review after I see Pearl Jam in Seattle on August 10/18. So far ordering on your site was straight forward
Thank you good service l hope to get my tickets as soon as possible
Thank you very much it is easy for me to do it on this way
Glad to find tickets at this site but the fees are high for my budget. These will make my kids happy though.
After my purchase I realized I had bought from a 3rd party. Paid DOUBLE what the tickets really cost. Next time I take my time and do research. This is my first time going to see a LIVE performance. Soo disappointing that I was scammed.
I don't buy tickets this way very often as I think the add on charges are way too high.
You think you are paying one price. But the add on charges were as much as another ticket to the same show. I know you have to make something on the sale, but really...
User friendly. I would recommend this service to all of my friends and families my members. I have had no issues thus far.
It's a trade off. Glad to go to the show but the price stings!
I'd have to look at the fine print to learn better where all the add ons came from.
My first time using this site and it was very user friendly. I emailed a question and received an answer within a few hours.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
