The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

This website specifically hid the fact that the tickets I bought were limited view, then they refused to either refund me or fix the tickets. Their customer service was completely condescending and unhelpful. Never buy from here!
Was a little confused with the flash seating selection but once confirmed the purchase received emails to explain. It would be helpful to have this explained when purchasing. Other than that, it was an overall good experience.
A bit complicated to choose seats/section, but worked well in the end. The most frustrating part was that upon clicking on a particular section, one would get a starting price (from $xxx) which was nowhere to be offered.
As Canadian residence I purchased upper balcony tickets for the Sept 25 Elton John concert online for $260 plus $89 fee and $29 shipping each (over priced) and now we learn that there is a USA $ exchange fee bringing overall total to approx $485 each - Online City did not make it clear that charges are in USA $ s and should have an CAD $ option and alert that charges are in US$
Very underhanded that we as Canadian residents needed pay US $ for a Canadian event as web site is misleading and a refund for misrepresentation should be available. Elton Johns event team should insist on fair and ethical distribution / policies for their re-sellers. Bad experience overall and wish we could secure a refund as the event now has very negative association
Not sure how we ended up with courier and corresponding charges as electronic would have been less $s and easier all around - was missed on pick list and should have been more clear
Thanks
Got Hamilton tickets quick, but the company is CRAZY with the surveys. They want feedback before you finish the order (including a rating) and a follow up survey before I even got my electronic ticket confirmation. Slow down, Trigger!
Access was easy and was able to pick out my tickets with no delay. I have purchased this way for other events. The fees are high and do not agree with this pricegouging. Service charges got to go.
Quick and easy, seating map was very helpful, love the download tickets option. Just thought the $15.86 handling fee for each ticket was a little extreme but otherwise I am pleased with tgis service!
After getting ripped for $371 a ticket, I went comparison shopping and found the same location seat for $137. I wonder if they sponsor positive reviews? Google come on weed out the ripoff s especially ticket vendors.
If you read the policies of terms of use, you quickly realize its all in their favor. I loaded the wrong seats, and didnt double check (my fault). I contacted them within 12 hours of purchase (when I realized), and support said they cannot do refund, that I can resell them. Problem is with the exorbitant fees the tickets are much higher priced that similar tickets to same event. A 24 hour cancellation/refund time would be nice for mistakes. I should have checked the BBB reviews first.
Please, just sent me my tickets. Don't really need to give you koodos for placing an order. Hopefully you WILL send my tickets. Beginning to worry a bit with this review. It's not necessary!
Purchasing the tickets was easy and the fees were high then you have to write a review to confirm your purchase.
Too many clicks to make my purchase, but overall was easy to find the tickets I wanted and got what I needed
The venue and the performers deserve the money - running my credit card and emailing me a ticket is not worth the same amount... ridiculous, extortion, criminal!
I cant print the tickets, can you mail me the tickets please? There is a problem with my printer and it wont print. This is my problem but if you can send them to my home address it would be greatly appreciated.

Easy to buy and print out quickly, however the service charge was 1/3 the cost of the ticket and it was for each ticket. Pretty ridiculously expensive. The tickets were $34 a piece and then there was a $10.00 service fee for each ticket. Plus an almost 8$ fee to be able to print them immediately. So for two $34 dollar tickets, my total charge was $96.34.
Great, I just wish we didnt have to review our experience until after we use the tickets. That way we could post the ease of printing and using the tickets.
Ordering tickets for this event was quick and easy. I do think the service fee is overboard. It's more than $100. I think $30 or $40 total fee would be more reasonable.
Smooth transaction, quick service, quick print and download, site was very easy use/user friendly, would use again, thanks much!
I don't wish to participate in a review. Just let me have my tickets please! There's nothing or no one to review. Tickets please. My hands are up! Still not enough words. Absolutely incredible how you are able to take my money and demand that I say how wonderful you are. Now can I have the tickets?
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
