The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Process quick any easy but service charge seems high. Don't see the price for service charge until after you have committed to buy the tickets
Based on the many bad reviews I read after buying these tickets, I just have to hope and pray they are valid. Misleading website.
The process was simple BUT you couldn't see where the tickets are as far as if they are in the middle of a row or an isle. The mark up is pretty high too. I hope the tickets actually work and the seats aren't horrible. Pretty nervous about his transaction.
I do not mind paying for convenience within reason. All businesses have the right to make a profit, but 30% of the cost as a service fee is ridiculous!
This is a repeatable electronic transaction that does not require a lot of overhead as time passes on, so charging such an outrageous service fee for an established, repeatable, process amounts to highway robbery.
Seat "selection" was listed by sections only with no indication as to where the seats are in the row or where the row is in the section. Prices by section varied wildly with some sections costing 2 or 3 times more than the one above.
Happiest when I'm in my seat and listening to Ed Sheeran - great service so far though yes! I found the order process easy and i received confirmation almost instantly. Confirmation printed and electronic ticket saved to my phone. So far I'm happy...
Purchased tickets through Online City Tickets prior to a show two hours from home. I only received a confirmation email with my order number and a second email with a survey. Upon arriving at the show, I presented my confirmation email to the box office. There I was told they could not accept the confirmation email with the order number, seeing as that's all that was emailed to me. I checked through every folder in my email searching for any other emails from them. Nothing. The lady at the box office told me I would have to purchase general admission tickets to get in but the company would definitely refund my money for the previous tickets. After the show, I called the company and ended up requesting a transfer to a manager. After I was transferred, I was informed that this was not their fault and they could not refund my money. They claimed they emailed the tickets, even though I guaranteed them they didn't. I ended up spending over $500 trying to take my kids to a show. Please do not use this company for anything. Read all of the other reviews. I find it odd that this seems to have happened to alot of customers. No wonder they're still in business, their robbing people then refusing to refund them when in fact it's their fault. I seriously don't know how they sleep at night, with a guilty conscience I'm sure.
I purchased these tickets and everything seemed great, but afterwards read reviews about the company and am getting scared because of negative reviews. I hope and pray this is legit and I didnt get screwed.
Overall site is not very good not set up professionally and does not state when I looked there are no cancellations or no refunds. I want a refund
After looking at tickets at the Warner Theater site (pretty picked over), I looked here. I finally decided to suck it up and pay $99 for a $67 ticket cuz I wanted to see these people play. Oh, minimum 2 ticket purchase! I only wanted one. And what shows up for the first time in the final screen for purchasing? A $30 per ticket service charge!
At $265 for 2 tickets these are the most expensive I have ever bought, way out of my price range, but I'd like to see them (Tedeschi Trucks Band) at least once live.
I thought my overall experience was good but the fees per ticket were way too high. First time buying tickets from them. Hopefully not the last.
The process was cumbersome. Seating choices were by section only and not by the seat. I have no idea if I have end row seating or middle of the row. Some section seating would only allow the purchase of 4 seats instead of 2. Ridiculous add on "service" charges of $66 for 2 seats, plus an additional $7 for me to print my own tickets.
I did get my tickets I'm not happy I had to pay $7.50 just to download to get them when you can just email it for free!
Would recommend to others. Site was easy to buy from and cant wait to use the tickets on the day of the concert.
Can't wait for the tickets to see we're sitting because it said TBD not sure wear we are sitting. My wife been telling me for years she wants to see Journey
Easy straightforward process. I appreciate the follow up to confirm my order. Not one to normally purchase tickets or attend concerts, I was afraid of a confusing experience. Will use site again.
This is why the music industry will continue to fail. Make things simple. I have to write a friggin 100 character review to receive tickets that have already been paid for? Are you kidding me? Who is the genius that came up with this gem of an idea?
Ticketmaster should have noted that these were resale tickets regardless wife is excited to see Hamilton
It was my first time ordering tickets ever, so I didn't nt know about the service fees and download fees.
Best and easiest experience I have ever had ordering tickets! Would recommend this site to anyone. It was quick and easy. Had my tickets downloaded in just a couple of minutes after the purchase.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
