Worse experience ever! I didn't even click submit due to the outrageous processes fees and they charged me anyways. Impossible to get ahold of and refuse any sort of refund.

There should be a ZERO star rating option! Online City Tickets does not deserve 1 star. They charged an exorbitant fee. I paid $215 for two seats that was purchased by their buying agent for $45 a seat (including processing fees). What a SCAM! I called customer service and Michael conveyed the message that the tickets were purchased by a 3rd party vendor and the price was determined by the anticipated customer demand, at the time. What is discouraging are our local venues are supporting the advertising of Online City Tickets on their websites. The venues should be encouraging direct box office purchases or offering the online purchases themselves, like Hanover Tavern does. Instead, the larger venues are encouraging this level of robbery.

While was ordering my tickets they said that I would get the middle of the row but could not give me actual seat numbers. They assured me twice that they would indeed be in the middle of the row and that the email confirming my purchase would indicate seat numbers. When I received the email the seat numbers were not indicated. When I called back to customer service they put me in a loop that I could not get out of and actually talk to someone. I called back and hit #1 for ticket sales because I wanted to talk to someone. The person could not tell me seat numbers either and transferred me to a supervisor at my request. I waited a total of 45 minutes and when the supervisor came on we could not communicate because the connection was so bad. I tried to call back and hit 1 for ticket sales and it immediately put me into customer service which just a loop with automated responses. There was no way to get back to a real person to discuss my issue. I am completely dissatisfied. I was lied to by one of their ticket sales employees. Very disgusted.

I mistakenly only purchased 5 tickets for Radio City when i really needed 6 tickets. He quickly helped me locate a seat in the row just behind the group. Great, friendly, and professional!

I bought 2 rather expensive tickets to an event. The event was postponed due to a huge winter storm. I couldn't make it to the new scheduled date as it was on a Tuesday night and 4 hours away. This company will not refund the hundreds of dollars I spent! Talk about a Ripoff company. They got $250 out of me, and who knows who else they ripped off. I would give a zero rating if it were possible. Why do I have to suffer more because the weather closed down the western half of NC!?

Delayed tickets

I bought tickets In January to attend an Elton John on Dec 12th. It is December 11th I have NOT received tickets. The online customer service number DOES NOT help, answer any questions or send you to an operator at any point. DO NOT call them they are a waste of time. The online chat also DOES NOT answer any questions and state: "you will receive your tickets before the show". Well its 24 hours before the show I cant even resell the tickets because I dont have them. DO NOT waste your time here, I doubt I will even get my tickets.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST ticket experience I have ever had! Save your time, money, energy.Do not shop here.

I recently went to the website bok.centertulsa.org to purchase concert tickets. After locating concert information at a local venue, and clicking on " buy ticket" I was instantly redirected to onlinecitytickets.com, in order to complete transaction. Only after the transaction was complete was I able to review my order information and discovered the change in venue location from a tulsa oklahoma location to Ft. Luaderdale, Florida.

I purchased "tickets" for Disney on ice for my family. Come to find out after driving/parking at the event I still have not received "tickets". After an hour and a half on the phone trying to get the tickets emailed to me with no luck, the senior support member instructed me to go to the box office and explain the situation and they will give me my tickets. What a load of garbage. Of course they didn't give me tickets without email confirmation. So I had to repurchase the tickets in hopes that this misunderstanding would be rectified in the morning. They did not refund for tickets I never received and blamed my email. (Gmail) for not getting the email. I am pretty sure this janky site is the issue, not google.

I will never go through this terrible third party ticket seller ever again. I would advise you to do the same. I have read so many negative reviews I wish I have seen before purchasing tickets I never received.

This is my first negative review I have ever written, I am a very positive person and generally only write positive reviews. When you are deceived in this way, one could only look out for others.

DO NOT USE THIS THIRD PARTY!

Don't order from this company. I'm not usually a person who complains about companies. This company is fraudulent. They will take your money without any guarantee of having the tickets you ordered. Worst company I've ever encountered. They do not care about their customers.

Customer service was bad

I called in to purchase a set of tickets. The representative informed me I could choose my seats. I kept him on the line during the purchasing process. He informed me I would receive an email that would let me purchase specific seats.

I ended up receiving a random seat assignment. I confronted the sales rep and asked why he had lied to me. He did not say much and transferred me to customer service.

This is one of the worst ticket buying experiences I have ever had. Don't lie to your customers!

Bait & Switch stay away

I wanted to purchase GA tickets to a concert, I noticed that the site was giving me issues and defaulting to seated tickets. I was finally able to get the tickets to go to the cart and the final review at GA. The moment I hit purchase, the tickets somehow changed back to seated tickets... I immediately tried calling and their system just hangs up on you. I went to live chat and Trent basically told me I was computer illiterate and it was my fault, wouldnt even try to assist. I will NEVER recommend or USE this site again EVER!

Not only were both of the customer service reps rude and unhelpful, the company does not require their sellers to have purchased the tickets before selling them on their website. When I asked for a refund because the tickets were not on sale yet, they denied it. Even though they say they have a 100% guarantee, they openly stated on the phone they cannot guarantee the tickets would be delivered but I would have to wait until a couple days before the event to receive a refund if the tickets were not provided. A couple days is too close to an event to purchase new tickets. The company was completely unwilling to rectify the situation.

Also, their phone menu is an utter nightmare and I had to go through multiple different, unrelated menus from my reason for the call in order to find the right number to be connected with a person. It's like an Easter Egg hunt and only one egg connects you to a real person to talk to.

SCAMMED!

Bought tickets for Garth Brooks in Pittsburgh. Bought 2 tickets at $120 each and charged me $560. They will not answer phone calls or refund money. I DID NOT agree to those charges. No details provided in summary of charges to agree to. I clicked on seats for $120 each and then charged. SCAMMED BIG TIME. Amd the. Told I will get tickets 2 days before event. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RIPOFF SITE

BEWARE! RIPOFF

I bought 4 tickets on their website that they cost "3 times more" than Ticketek.
When I call them they told me that there is not refund and that I couldnt do anything about it.
To talk to customer service its impossible! You wait and wait and wait...

Pretty standard for a ticket reseller, which is a predatory service no matter where you go. They gave me a decent inconvenience reimbursement bonus when the headliner to the show I wanted to go to was cancelled even though they had nothing to do with that. Applying the discount was not straight forward on the website, but the customer service person was nice.
