The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

BUYER BEWARE! Bought VIP tickets and denied entry...$477 and no access...
Just wait for the cheap seats or do the best you can... call Ticket Master directly!
The representative was very helpful and very polite. He answered all of my questions. He gave me different options and went above and beyond to help us get our tickets. He also found us a great deal.
Well I went on line and bought Billie Joel tickets and got 5% off my purchase with a promotional code i wasn't aware of But my complaint is AFTER I put $1200 on my credit card i get e-mails offering 10% and 15% off on purchase of Bille Joel tickets? That just doesn't make a lot of sense to me and i am wondering WHY i wasn't offered the larger discounts to begin with seems like a LOUSY thing to do to a new customer Neil
I bought two tickets for 91 each and was charged 250. When you are going through the purchase screens, you keep seeing the base total and there is no itemization of the value added costs - firstly they are excessive and i never would have purchased. Immediately after purchase it's impossible to revere the transaction AND there is no way to get to a person to discuss for at least 40 minutes. Then, the cust service rep who was very nice said she couldn't find my purchase because it was put in by a "sister company". She sAID THIS HAPPENS A LOT. This company should not be in business - its fraud.
A super nice fellow, Rain reassured me and sold me the best seat in the whole arena. I could not have been more happy. I will definitely use your service again and will ask to speak to him if I can.
Very efficient, friendly and professional service. Answered my questions quickly and accurately. Appreciated!
I got scammed by tickets I bought from On-line City Tickets. The tickets were not legitimate. The venue (Mohegan-Pentatonix) would not honor the tickets I bought. I had to buy two new tickets to get into the show. On-line City tickets would not refund my money. Do not buy tickets through this on-line site! Go through Ticketmaster or get them from the site directly.
Be careful before placing orders. They put the final number you have to pay over the green button "Place Order". You would expect that you will get a confirmation before you place the order with the breakdown of fees. They don't do that. If you place the order without noticing the final number, which could be $120 or more, you are done and you won't get a REFUND if you don't like what you got. They suggested that I can resell the ticket on FB and social media. They based their business model on hidden fees and no refund. Don't like that and I don't respect it. Please READ before you place the order. They ruined my day, hope they don't ruin yours.
You girl whom I dealt with was very patient and polite, when I hung up I actually felt happier after having talked to her. Good job young lady.
I tried buying online, but had many problems so I called. The lady who helped me was very helpful, made it very simple for me to understand and handled the difficult parts for me and even went out of her way to get me a discount which really made a difference. The fees are quite high, but its expected. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and now I have a wonderful Christmas present to give!

Me obstructed view with no notice. Worst customer service. Call center outside USA. Waste of time. Paid 70 more a ticket than other sites. First and last time
I find buying tickets in a Canadian theatre for a Canadian production in American rip- off prices unbelievable. I future, I will not do business with any organization that sells tickets to whole-sale group buyers so they can take all the seats and charge double the amount. They should be investigated by Better Business Associations both sides of the border.
Online City Tickets uses deceptive tactics to gain honest consumers trust in order to cheat consumers out of hundreds (In my case) dollars. They own multiple Domains, one for every major city with the city name as the name of the URL. E. G "sandiegoticketoffice.com/" or sandiegoballpark.org giving the consumer a false sense of trust that they are actually buying from the city or venue and no a reseller with an exorbitant mark up which in my case was nearly 300%. In addition it is my opinion the OnlineCityTickets is operating as their own reseller. How do I know this?
The Tickets where shipped from OnlineCityTickets corporate HQ in Chicago Illinois. The name on the ticket is Generic e. G (JohnDoe). The seller confirmation came within a minute of buying the tickets.
This is clearly why they have an all sales are final clause because most people once they find out would likely cancel the sale immediately which I attempted to do with no success.
Worst company I have ever experienced. I would never recommend or do business with them again. Lost $175, because I didn't read the fine print in the policies that basically says even if it's their fault and there is an error on their end they will never give you a refund, because "that's how they make their money and if they made any exceptions they would go out of business." There is no chance of a refund even when they are in the wrong, because they have thought of every possible scenario (included in very small print) to prevent you from getting your money back. Steer clear. Apparently, they value ripping people off more than high customer ratings, because that's how they stay in business. Can't wait to see their words eat them for dinner. They will go out of business, because when people read these awful reviews they will know to never purchase from this company and to look elsewhere (anywhere else!). It's that bad people.
Dont know how to download tickets. Done doing it what if i dont have same phone next year what if i loose my phone now u want a 100 characters
The band canceled. Employees at Budweiser stage said to scan out before the show starts to get a full refund which I did inwhich online city tickets refuses to pay me the $270 I loss from the whole experience. Every concert I consider going to I talk myself out of it now because of the big problems that came with this
I thought I called the BB&T Center for tickets and when I asked the lady on the phone was this the BB&T Center Inn sunrise, FL she said yes! Later to find out that this is a ticket reseller and the tickets I bought were tripled in the price! Had I known that this was not the BB&T Center I never would have bought these tickets! Ticket scalpers disgust me and I hope you all ROT in HELL for getting over on ppl!
The associate on the phone was very friendly and helpful, unfortunately the fees were quite expensive. The tickets before fees should have been about $620, overall price was more like $850.
Purchased 2 tickets to see the Nutcracker with daughter this Christmas. The event was held at 7:30 PM on 12/15/18. Online City Tickets did not forward the e-ticket to me until 8:45 PM on 12/15/18 and somehow thinks I should have been able to attend the event and refuses to refund me my money. CHEATS!
Bought Elton John tickeu9 months in advance, delivered by email 96 hours prior to eveyand tickets couldn't be printed. Terrible service
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
