Many users appreciate the ease of navigation on the website and the variety of travel options available. After entering a date of 1/12/2014 the onetravel website confirmed my ticket for a one-way date departing 1/14/2014. When I panicked and hoped it wasn't a scam, I was relieved when I actually got a hold of an agent (it was difficult to understand him as he was from a different country and did not speak clear English) who I promptly told I needed to fly out on Sunday, 1/11/2014. My bad because what I needed to say was 1/12/2014. That being said, I did request Sunday three times (and had three witnesses in the room to confirm this) as well as my father, who I called up and gave him my flight info and pick up info for Sunday. The agent did not clarify Saturday the 11th or Sunday the 12th? Anyway, arriving at the airport Sunday, I found that my flight had left the day before, so my 2 children and I were just "out of luck". US Airways, of course, refused to rebook the flight and the cost of a flight change with their administrative fee was the same amount as the tickets I purchased. However, this gets better. The total of my tickets paid through the onetravel website amounted to $801.00 and the total of the tickets that I purchased was $675.00 for a commission to onetravel of $126.00 or roughly 18% of the ticket price. I finally made it home after spending an additional $1000. 00 and a stay at a motel in Des Moines so I could get on the next available plane, I spent almost 2 hours on hold, the "supervisor" came on the phone and told me after reviewing the taped conversation between the agent and myself, she clearly heard me request Sunday, yet could not refund my money because I had also mentioned 1/11/14 and they, therefore, were not at fault. I will never book online with a third party agency again. And as for "onetravel" - their lack of professionalism and inability to clearly communicate consumer needs rates them at the bottom of the barrel.

Booked airfare for the family of six and unfortunately I had to change my departure date, so I bought insurance through them just in case, well something did come up and I had to change me departure date only and I called to no avail, was on hold for over 55 min. Finally someone answered and would only give me his first name who spoke with an English accent and very hard to understand so I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said to hold and hung up on me. I tried calling back the number he called me from and the number was no good. I tried for days calling and emailing and all I got was there's nothing we can do and call the insurance company so they can further assist you. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ONETRAVEL WEBSITE...

Do NOT Use OneTravel Unless You Are ABSOLUTELY Certain

OneTravel has excellent prices, but if you have to cancel or change your itinerary, you can kiss your money goodbye. I bought a round-trip ticket for an excellent price. However, the cancellation fee was the same amount as the cost of the ticket. The change fee was not so bad, and everyone has to pay the difference in cost, but OneTravel has a requirement that you first have to buy another ticket (at a horrible price), before you can apply what is left of your credit. In other words, the credit was useless. I never took the trip. The money I spent was lost, completely. I don't recommend using this company, UNLESS you are 100% certain that you will not change any part of your booking. So, OneTravel has great prices, but if you need to make changes, their fees and penalties and policies will make you wish you had never heard of this company.

Well, after tirelessly searching other well known sites such as Orbitz, Travelocity, even Expedia with no immediate and adequate results... I chose to search google for another travel website for booking and One Travel was the first within the search. I proceeded to try booking online and was successful. Upon finishing my booking, a representative called to confirm and I was also able to make another reservation over the phone. Leading up to travel date, they kept me posted with emails on check in times and other important travelling information. MY first experience was EXCELLENT... TOP OF THE LINE SERVICE... I HAVE ALREADY BEEN SPREADING THE WORD ABOUT THIS WEBSITE!

Do not use this site! I had to cancel a flight and was told it would cost 900.00 dollars but when the final cancellation fee came through it was 1400. 00 dollars. I feel completely ripped off! I will never use them again...

I got a link to Onetravel after I searched for a ticket in Skyscanner. After I followed the link, the ticket price was confirmed and I was asked for my information to purchase the ticket. I provided my name, address, birth date, credit card number, security code, etc. After clicking "Purchase", I was told that the price wasn't valid, and was presented with a much higher price. This is not legitimate behavior. It's a scam to get my personal information.

As I was reviewing my schedule from Tangier to Lisboa (November 18th 2013) I took notice that I mistakenly purchase my return date for February 4th instead of January 4th. When I called and talked to a representative two days later (November 20th 2013) the solution I was giving was to pay a fee for $170 dollars. When I protested to the representative about the amount I was told, He then lowered the fee to $140 dollars. How the fee was lowered in a couple of minutes baffle me. SO I decided to search through multiple websites and I decided to pay for a new ticket for $157. Why I wasn't giving a "real option" to my situation when I'm buying a ticket with more than a month in advance? What kind of business is OneTravel.com running?

Stay away from this website! I booked an expensive, last-minute flight from Europe to Chile which cost around $2400. After booking it on onetravel.com, I received an email from the airline telling me that the booking could not be confirmed, even though OneTravel claimed otherwise. Now OneTravel is still charging me the money for this ticket that never existed! Their customer service is very poor -- I had to wait on the phone forever until I could talk to one of their representatives, who refused to acknowledge that there had been a problem with my booking. I finally was able to talk to his supervisor who said he would investigate into this, but it's been two weeks and he still hasn't been able to solve the problem. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get my money back...

I booked flights to India with them, they were cheapest by roughly 50 pounds so I went ahead with them without looking at reviews.
After booking, I received a call from a lady from one travel asking me to confirm the first line of my address and my phone number. She asked if my phone number was linked to my bank and I said I wasn't sure. She then said I'd need to register my mobile against my credit card with my bank so that they could process the transaction, and that she would dial my bank and transfer me then and there. Of course, I was never going to trust that so when she put me through I explained the situation and said I was going to dial my bank direct, which I then proceeded to do. Nationwide, who i bank with, told me it was unheard of and OneTravel wouldn't have been able to check my number was verified with my bank, even if I did follow the steps they were asking me to do. They checked my credit account and could see that a transaction for 0.00 pounds was processed and didn't understand why. Between the advisor and msyelf we were uncomfortable and cancelled my card on the spot so that they couldn't charge me. I also received about 10 emails in relation to my card payment from them if it's worth noting, but it just feels dodgy!
I've now learnt my lesson, to check reviews before clicking!

First thing, these people play a trick. On their web site they show you the cheapest fair, on the booking page you put your information including your cell no and email id, credit card no, once you press the book, it will say something like "Sorry your booking don't go through the price went up".

Within 5 min you will get a call from Indian call center(MOST PROBABLY). (HOW?) they got your number, that's why they want you to fill information so they can trick you. Now they will hike the price and try to convince that they have just 2 seat remaining. They played a game and charged you more (In my case they charged me almost $219 more than first shown on web site). After i booked the ticket i again search and find ticket $170 cheaper than i paid for.

Fine i was stupid, but worst thing is they put me on a sit by the restroom and its 21 hour flight from Houston to Singapore. I called them repeatedly to change at least my seating but they say its not possible.

In short they will make you fool, lie and make your travel experience pathetic, just to earn little more money

I am currently on hold with One Travel for the last hour-so I guess I have lots of time to write a review. Never use this site! I called the airline within 72 hours of my booking to confirm my times and flights as is advised on the One Travel web site. It is a good thing I did because my return flight number is different then the itinierary that was sent to me. The airline advised me to cal One Travel to change this for me otherwise I would have trouble checking in. I have been disconnected twice and now I am on hold for the last hour. The hassle so far was not worth saving a few bucks on a flight. When I finally do talk to someone I just hope they can resolve the issue. I would rather just have the ticket refunded and start fresh with an airline booking site that I trust-but as the ticket says-no changes no refunds. Stil on hold going on an hour and a 15 minutes now... lame-do not use!

Book an air line ticket and got confirmation. Next day received another confirmation for an additional charge for selecting seats (which I did not). Called One Travel and woman said she would credit, I was a bit skeptical and sure enough, it was not done. Called back this company and was transferred to another so called department and left on hold... Do not use this company
