Never ever again. Last year I booked a flight to Scotland at a cost of just under $1000 each including flight insurance. They offer cheaper fares because they book you with many stopovers or change of planes with outrageous layover times. With all that, then they at will can change your flight to something equally bad or worse.
Chose a flight on a certain airline because it was among the options for my chosen destination. Found out after the purchase that this airline did not fly to the airport I had chosen, and had re-routed me to one an hour away. Called within minutes of the purchase to remedy it, but could not do so without a hefty fee. They offered to cancel the ticket and refund then do a new transaction, but the money wouldn't be refunded for 7-14 days. After telling them that was unacceptable, was told it was up to their financial institution and they couldn't do anything about it.
We decided to just keep the flight as is, and add the additional expense of a rental car (from another source, obviously) just to get me to my destination. Will never use OneTravel again.
On my recent trip from Chicago to Dublin, Ireland I had a great experience with One travel. They kept me updated from the time of departure to my return flight. Also the price was excellent. I will book with them in the future if needed
I tried booking a flight on frontier airlines from Trenton Airport to Orlando and during my check out process I actually received an unsolicited phone call from someone at Onetravel.com telling me there were no seats available on the flights I was booking and tried to get me to make reservations out of a different airport with a different airline at higher rates. She couldn't find flights that met my needs so I thanked her and hung up. Afterwards I went onto the airline website direct and was able to make reservations on the flights I wanted no problem!
They said those who write reviews are mostly the ones that are not happy, yes i went to different site to check one travel reviews they are all the same. Had a really bad experience with this company. Had to book flight for my dad but end up cancelling it because of hes work schedule. Had to pay for cancellation fee and had credit. Called them to rebook for flight so i can use the credit they said i have to pay rebooking fee again after several arguments got tired and said fine il pay for rebooking fee, the tickets thats i was trying to rebook are $100 cheaper from my credit means i should have that credit for next time. But nope i was wrong unfortunately if the tickets are cheaper than your credit you wont get the rest of the credit what the heck is that? Thats why it is called "credit" but if the tickets you are buying is higher than thecredit you have to pay for it what a scam? Their costumer service are all indian people that doesnt even speak proper english with a strong accent that you cant even understand.
So if i were you people DO NOT BOOK with this scam people before tou regret it thats how their company make money. This company needs to close down they are pretending that they are selling the cheapest but wait till you cancel it, you will get charge big time! Check other sites for reviews too you will see almost everyday they have complains!
Without being aware of the implications, I booked two flights on EuropeWings through OneTravel. When I went back (via the web and telephone) to try to get more details of our booking - re luggage requirements, costs, I got nowhere and was met by one frustration after another. When I finally spoke to Eurowings directly, I found that I'd paid considerably more than if I'd booked directly through the carrier. Summary: unnecessarily costly, miserable customer service, hours wasted, frustration, frustration, frustration. Never again! BEWARE!
I regret to booked a flight in one travel. Horrible experience! Due to unavoidable circumstances i had to cancel the flight for 2 tickets(1,900US dollar) my husband & my son back home(philippines) to be with me here in toronto. For cancellation fee they said 200US each passenger total 400US dollars but what i don't understand there's additional 350US dollars on top of that. They gave me an option to change the flight date but i have to add 1200canadian dollar which maybe 1K in US dollar. I chose to cancel rather than paying 1200CD to save money & get the booking date I want the soonest. Prior to cancellation I called Korean air, they asked my booking number & they are claiming that they don't have that booking#. I really don't know if they booked the said flight. Another thing. I asked korean air the refund policy & period of time to process, they said 4-6 weeks. Now, i keep calling one travel they giving an answer the refund will be in 2months. I don't have that amount of money to book them again. They robbed me and give you hard time to get your money back. That amount of money is not a joke & I work hard for it. I feel like a wanna cry with frustrations with these people in one travel. I need the money now to get a booking... I wanted my husband & my son soon to be in school since he didn't enroll backhome bec. Of waiting to get here. These people from One travel don't understand. Overall it was very disappointing experience. Too much hidden cost no free change or cancellation within 24 hours. They are telling false story on there website.
This is to inform that more than 4 hours on the telephone and more than 12 calls that i made to the agents. They have miss handled my booking which has resulted in cancellation of the tickets. Instead of handling the matter amicably they have further issued me fake bookings. Upon checking with Swiss air Booking reference: 4YXZ7G i find out that this booking is only ticket booking and not a real ticket since the agent has not made payment. I have waited over 2 hours last night convincing the team to look into the matter while the call was on for 2 hours. I have further asked for a refund for the excess money of $224 that was charged to me for no fault of mine for the second time mess up the agent has done. But there has been justification given that I would have spent it on the cancellation or changes anyways so there will be no refund and that they have lost money in the bargain. The ticket now has costed me. $598.50 + $224.40= $822.90. Where as the new direct ticket is not more than $545.00 which is also not on the specific i wanted to make the journey compromising my 1 more day of travel. I have also asked for the receipt of $224 which they have spent on another airlines booking to be sure that they have actually spent that money which i believe is also fake. I think this site is a bunch of unprofessional agents trying to make a quick buck.
My daughter booked the flight from Toronto to Helsinki and from there to Oslo, Istanbul and back to Toronto. She didn't take the flight from Helsinki to Oslo and instead got a separate flight from Oslo to Bergen because her uncle was there at that time. She had planed to get back to Oslo and take the flight to Istanbul anyways. After she went to Bergen the coup happened in Turkey and she contacted Onetravel to cancel the flight from Oslo to Turkey and get refund and get back to Toronto. Guess what they said first of all they don't cancel the flight and she can only re-book it and has to pay almost same price as new ticket for the rest of flight again, just for re-booking. Secondly because she has not showed up for the flight from Helsinki to Oslo there rest of her flight is automatically cancelled. It is the most ridiculous claim I have heard, it cannot be a policy. What if she had lost the flight inadvertently and wanted to use the rest of the flights. It means that for the next flight if she had showed up in the airport she couldn't have used the rest of her booking and flights. It is an absolute rip-off.
Also it was the worst customer service experience. They were barely understandable and trained to just make money for Onetravel at any cost. Onetravel was our worst experience in travelling. Stay away from them.
This is the worst company to ever use to buy airfare tickets. The representatives are all incompetent and can't even speak English. They are not helpful and are on the other side of the world and can't get a reservation correct nor understand English. It's ridiculous that this company ruins a vacation before it even begins
My flight was canceled by the Tame airline out of Cuenca Ecuador and Onetravel will not refund my money. It has been over a month now and they are still giving me the run around. I have emailed them and spent endless hours on the phone with the same results no refund. They are the worse company to deal with and it would be really nice to talk to an American and not someone in India
One of my flights got canceled and when I called to get a refund for that one ticket they told me that it was impossible to only refund the one ticket then refered me to the actual airlines. I called them and they told me that only the travel agency can give me the refund. The guy for one travel said that my only options were to refund all my flights or accept the flight change and if I didn't accept the flight change that I wouldn't be allowed on the rest of my flights because I would be claimed as "absent". After playing phone tag with one travel and the airline I finally got the refund. One travel made things more stressful and difficult than it had to be. It seemed as if they didn't care about my situation. Never will I book with them again!

Message: Insel air, on 20 May, stated I had not paid for my tickets for flight 309 to Bonaire from Curacao. I had to take a later flight (they didn't have seats for us) and I had to pay cash for two new tickets. I want a full refund for all tickets and fees that I have paid One Travel
I don't know if these guys are worse than the others, but my experience was horrible! First, I made a point of bypassing many cheap flights because of the unreasonable 6:00 am departure time (I have to drive an hour and a half to the airport). I found a 20% mark up on a flight that departed at a reasonable time, 10:55 am. I chose that one and then chose seats. When all was said and done, the site claimed that I chose a flight that departed at 6:05 am, precisely what I wanted to avoid! Perhaps it was my mistake, perhaps not. THERE'S NO WAY TO KNOW! I called customer service to change the departure time. Sure enough they could change it to the 10:55 am departure time that I thought I had selected in the first place for a $125 (33%) fee. When I explained that that was too high, the representative said I would not be able to get anything cheaper. That was a lie. After I got off the phone, I checked, looking for the most expensive flights, and literally could not find any more expensive than my flight plus the penalty. This sucks, because I'm supposed to supply my employer with two other flight itineraries to prove to them that I was trying to find a cheap flight. Now, I probably won't get reimbursed. These people need to provide a clear, easy-to-read review of the entire itinerary before you're asked to confirm the flight. My first complaint is that you use people people from India for customer service agents who can barely be understood and sound like robots. They spoke in a monotone and you could tell that they didn't give a $#*! about customers from the very beginning.
I was buying the insurance because there is a 100% cancellation fee. So when I go to cancel my flight because my boyfriend and I broke up, when I called, they said that I would only get a refund if it was within 24 hours. Otherwise it would have to be an emergency in order to cancel, although it is hidden away, not even providing a link next to it to look further into the rules about getting this. This to me is extremely sneaky because they are trying to mislead customers into thinking they have the coverage and switching it up on them when they actually need it.
But the man, who spoke fast and unclear when telling me his name tried to find a solution for me by saying if I would like to, I could change the location in which I was flying to. I said I would call back with the location and I just had to verify the dates with a friend. I called back to give them the flight I wanted and was going to switch to and then they decided to tell me then that it would be an extra $200 charged by the airlines to make the change so now I would be paying $632 instead of the $432 that I spent. The man had neglected to inform me of this in order to get have a quick fix so he could move a long and put it on someone else. Yet again, being sneaky. I have worked at a call center before and we provided all the information to customers in order to ensure positive reviews and to be seen as an honest company. They just want to walk all over their customers in order to get money. I guess the joke is on me huh? Never again will I book with this site and I will recommend that none of my friends do either. I love how they only show the reviews that are good in order to mislead possible customers. It isn't a coincidence that every other review website only gives them one star. I have booked with several other companies and when they say it has 100% cancellation, they meant it. Next time, I will pay the extra money to get the good customer service. I have never sent a bad review like this but this is ridiculous and people need to know what they are getting into. Never again!

We booked a 4 round trip tickets for over $1300 and when we got the e-mail confirmation was over $100 more and when I called they could not tell me why... and what a joy is to find out that the customer service agent is located IN FREAKING INDIA! Needless to say just to talk to these pricks is a challenge... here comes the worst part... after cancelling this deal we are only getting back $59.80 of the $1349. 00 the charged to my credit card... it's a nightmare and an abuse.DO NOT use this unless you want to be robbed.
First they left me on hold for 30 minutes then they said "we don't do pet bookings" but in their recording they claim to be "A Full Service Travel Agent." Don't believe it. I can't get through to the airline as they keep disconnecting me, and as another office told me I needed to use "my travel agent" to book it, I called these guys. They are an online ticket sales yes. A travel agent? Hardly.
