It takes more than 30 minutes to get a hold of someone, when you ask for a callback they never call you back, and when you finally are able to speak to someone they just tell you that someone will get back to you in 2 days and no one does, so you have to call and start the process again, and every time you call they tell you something different. In my particular case I spoke with this agent named Carlos, and he told me he was going to get back to me ASAP but never heard from him again, he also told me that my order was being canceled, and when I spoke with another agent he informed me that the order shipped the day I spoke with Carlos, so basically he was just lying to get me off the phone. Please don't ever make the mistake of buying anything from ONE KINGS LANE and just buy from a company that has people who actually understand English working for them!

I placed my third order with OKL on January 31,2021 for three items including a couch which was supposed to be delivered between May 8 and 18. One of the items arrived a week after the order placed (great). Another item was never delivered and despite multiple calls to the company for a replacement or refund, I never received either. This was despite the fact that customer service reps told me my issue had been escalated to management and I would receive an email or call from a manager - neither ever happened. Now for the icing on top: on May 19 the aforementioned couch had still not arrived so I called to inquire as to its status. I was told by a disinterested, rude representative that my couch order had been cancelled when I asked why, he advised it was due to inventory shortage. I asked why I hadn't been advised of this and he couldn't answer that either. Yesterday, on May 27, I logged in to my checking account and found a charge from OKL for $2500 - for the couch. And, to add to this ualready disgraceful customer experience, the account on which the charge was placed is NOT the card I provided for the order, it was one I had used in May of 2020. Naturally, I reported this as fraud to the bank and the debit be reversed, but in the meantime, I have to change all of my automatic debits and memberships to a new account number which will require a significant amount of time. THIS COMPANY WILL COMMIT FRAUD - DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.

We ordered a canopy bed for $1600 in march 2020 for delivery in June. After the order was mis sent several times... arrived in the fall, paid to have it assembled but never received the headboard. The delivery guys did have two extra side rails... which we clearly did not need and had to dispose of.
After approximately 20 calls we were informed ( May 2021) that the bed was discontinued and we would need Take it apart and send it back for a refund but would be charged a $300 restocking fee... for a product sent without all the components and then discontinued... are you kidding me? Still no communication from them and no refund. This company has proven to be the worst we have ever bought from and refuse to refund our money. Please never buy from this company... worst ever!

Do not ever order so much as a paper clip from these frauds. I ordered a carpet now two and a half weeks ago. Realizing the next day I ordered the wrong size I called and ordered the correct size and asked to cancel the earlier order. I also pointed out I tried to use the discount code on the website for 25% off, but could not get the code to apply when placing the order. I was promised the cancellation and discount would be taken care of pending management approval within 3-5 days and I would be notified by email. After the 5 days passed and hearing nothing I again called customer service to be told approval was still pending and the order cancellation still had to be acknowledged by the carpet vendor, and to check back the next day. Upon doing so, calling the number that has a Manhattan area code, I was informed the customer service staff were actually all located in Mexico City! And, the rep I first spoke with sometimes doesn't follow through on things, at which I said I felt as though he lied to me. The rep then said, ‘Well, it takes one to know one.' Can't make this up. It's now been nearly three weeks since this began and I'm no closer to resolution than at the beginning. Never never never order anything from these fraudulent scumbags.
If I could give no stars I would. I bought a bed for almost 3k that was delivered damaged and dirty. After almost 2 months of being told something different by customers service and emails they are picking the best up and giving a refund but no replacement. I will have to reorder. It took 6 months for this to arrive! They offered 15% refund if I would fix it myself. They have lied on several occasions. Never order from them!
I order furniture online for years. I just found OKL and the entire experience has been stressful and disheartening. I now have multiple charges for items I tried to cancel of over $5000 and my husband just lost his job and we're forced to sell the home we've been in only five months. They are heartless and uncommunicative and just refuse to resolve issues. The customer rep today was talking over me as I tried to explain and he was so rude. I kept asking him to wait so I could explain and he literally yelled over me and kept talking. Sad experience... I had to finally call my credit card company to file disputes. No way to do business and succeed.
I've been waiting a month for a refund. I've called about once a week to check, as they have advised me to do, and still am being told "it's coming." I will not order from here ever again.
I ordered dining room chairs and found much less expensive ones a couple of days later. I called to cancel the order two days after placing the order. The customer service rep said THEY DON'T TAKE CANCELLATIONS! I read them their own policy which is 30 days within receipt for a return and the rep kept telling me there was some other part of the website that said otherwise. They are hiring very aggressive men to push their products.
I ordered two large pendants that arrived damaged. I have been calling for WEEKS trying to get a resolution. I just keep getting they will look into it and get back with me. I will never, ever order from them again! There are so many businesses trying to stay afloat at this time that really care about the customer. One Kings Lane does not.
Will never buy from them again. Wish i could give 0 stars. Have been trying to get my refund for a coffee table for weeks. They refunded me only $76 for a $500 coffee table- no white glove delivery or whatever so they cant blame that. I asked to speak to a financial representative, they said no, call your bank. Now am having to go through my bank to dispute charges. WHAT A MESS. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Also, don't bother emailing them, they wont respond.
I order a 2k bed 6 months ago and no one at One Kings Lane will give me an answer on where its at! I keep getting the run around through emails and over the phone. I have been charged every week for 6 months on this without any answers. Horrible business practices. All I have got back from them is "Our hands are tied." Are you kidding me!
Purchased a Slim Aarons framed print. It is made of very poor quality material. Thats why its final sale, non returnable.
I would advise against ordering from this company. They completely got my delivery address wrong. They sent my Bed to my billing address and not the shipping address. I have the invoice that was emailed to me at time of purchase and the information was correct there. When I called to revise this the customer service guy was so rude. Told me there is nothing he can do for me because I was not providing the correct shipping address and I originally had no idea what shipping address they had until I just on a whim asked if it was the billing address which it was. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he refused to put me on the phone with one and they told me that what he is asking me the supervisor would ask the same info and then said they don't have anyone available to speak to. Then he rushed me off the phone and when I asked him to send me a confirmation email of what we spoke about before I get off the phone and he said I will get it at some point today and then rushed me off the phone. I have had a couple of issues before this and have not had a great experience. This company takes forever to get your furniture.
Received a damaged chair... cracked right down one of the wooden legs and it's been over 2 months and I have not received a replacement. This set of chairs is $800-$1000 and I have a broken one. I called multiple days in a row and they kept saying they couldn't help me, Carlos who created my replacement order had to, and that he would call me back. Has he ever called me back? No. Have I gotten a replacement chair? No. Refund? No. How is this business surviving? Will never buy from here again.
Ordered numerous items for a new condo from One Kings Lane. Delivery dates are fluid, lack of follow up and service reps are very very rude
Make sure to read the small print for their return policy (like keep clicking until you've read everything about returns because they don't make it obvious when buying). We bought ceiling lights and when it came, we decided we didn't love them and they were small for our kitchen island. So we returned them right away (3 days after receiving them) and little did we know that they had a restocking fee of 20%. This was frustrating, because we did not get back $200 due to restocking fee. We called customer service and they were no help. We wanted to speak to someone else but the guy in customer service said everyone was in a meeting and that they would call us back. We never got a call back. Disappointed and no longer buying from this company.
Beware. Ordered a sofa. The delivery was cancelled during the delivery period after I took off time from work. They lost the first order. I took a chance (waited 4-6 again) and ordered a similar sofa. After using my time, they cancelled AGAIN while I was waiting for the sofa. This happened despite a confirmation the night before and earlier in the week. They did cancel again for weather. I asked for a time after 4 since I cannot use any more time to wait on this unreliable delivery service. They cannot accommodate a time after 4 even though it was THEIR error twice. Every time I call customer service they do not know what is going on and they promise to have a supervisor call. That NEVER happens. They double talk and bull$#*! you. I have a case open with the BBB because of this unethical operation. They are phonies that cannot deliver on their end of the contract. This Indecent lot is hold my holding my 3500 dollars hostage! The customer service rep even had the nerve to say "that amount is not a big deal". GEEZ. This place is a complete scam. You will likely regret ordering from this sham if you have any expectation of integrity. Not one lie told in this review!
I ordered a pan from One Kings Lane. It was the wrong size - my fault.
But really to charge a 25% restocking fee? Poor service and a complete rip-off in my opinion.
