The absolute worst experience with One Kings Lane. Their customer service is atrocious. They do not value their customers at all and do not try to rectify the situation. There was an issue with billing as well which was not addressed on their order status whatsoever and the customer service agent did not acknowledge if was OKL's vault.
I placed an order for a 29x18 Brennan Blotter placemat and received a different item. The one shipped to me was smaller. I called to claim the wrong product was sent and was told the one I originally ordered was not in stock. They offered to refund my money, but I was charged a restocking fee. They claimed I had ordered the product I received but yet they admitted not having the one I wanted in stock. Do not buy from this company. They misrepresent their products and have the worst customer service.

Very disappointed with the quality and the SMELL! After I received two of them, the chemical smell was so toxic it made my partner and I nauseous the first night sleeping with them next to our bed! I put them outside for a week, brought them in and they STILL smelled awful. Another week outdoors and the smell is now tolerable. Another problem. They chip very easily. Obviously they are coated with a very thin veneer. Will not purchase anything from One King's Lane again.

I ordered three framed pieces of art on one purchase order (OKK*******) on 3/22/22.
Shipping was an additional $179 on top of the over-$3000 for the three pieces.
Here's the problem: two out of the three pieces arrived damaged!
If I were buying the art for myself, I would not be leaving this negative review. However, I am a professional interior designer and these art pieces were supposed to be the finishing touch on a project for a client.
OKL exchanged one of the damaged items -- although this process took two weeks -- and the issue of the second damaged item is yet to be resolved, therefore, the project is still incomplete.
Obviously, I paid for this order out-of-pocket and am unable to collect my design fee until the project is completed... so I am in limbo. I contacted OKL customer service to explain the situation and proposed that instead of exchanging the second damaged item, I'd find a local repair service to make the repair (because I think we can salvage the piece), and asked that OKL refund the shipping cost in order to cover the cost of repair (plus the inconvenience to met of needing to schlep this oversized piece to the repair shop). Isn't that a reasonable request -- to ask that the company at fault do something to remedy the situation and take accountability? Four business days after my request... still no answer, just total radio silence.
Professionals -- shop elsewhere (chairish, 1stdibs, anthropologie, tappancollective) for your design needs! Homeowners decorating for themselves -- Buy at your own risk, you most likely will be disappointed by this company with poor customer service, which seemingly does not care at all about maintaining a professional reputation or their accountability.
I regret ever spending a penny with this terrible company.

Let me first say that I have never written a poor review as to any Company. However I help it necessary as One Kings Lane.
I ordered what appeared to be a huge concrete table. However, 1). One Kings Lane delivered my order weeks late despite promises to the contrary and after being told I would not be home, 2). Their shipping partner could not find my order to reschedule or provide updates, 3). One Kings Lane dropped a heavy shipping pallet on my driveway with such force as to crack a concrete table in numerous places making it worthless, 4). One Kings Lane refused to issue a credit until I had the table shipped back in a wood crate that I was forced to have build or re-built, 5). One Kings Lane refused to pick up the damaged concrete table in a timely manner knowing I was leaving the State of Florida for the summer, 6). One Kings Lane refused to have a manager return my call.
My guess is that your speaking to an overseas inbound telephone operator when calling customer service.
Horrible company, Horrible customer service, Horrible shipping. Cheap products.
No one should do business with this company. I will continue to write negative reviews anywhere that I can as well as file a BBB Complaint.

I ordered a ceramic stool and paid over $300 because of the navy color. On the same day I ordered a white one on Wayfair for $125. One Kings Lane took over two weeks to deliver. BEFORE it was delivered the piece went on sale for 20% less. I contacted OKL to ask for a credit. Even though the box was never opened they advised they would not give me the sale price. Neither would they allow me to return the unopened box in order to request a new order at the lesser price -- unless I paid a 15% restocking fee and paid for postage. Honestly, for the $50 credit they just cost themselves a customer. We have just moved into a new house and would have bought alot more, but their customer service doesn't warrant it. Save yourself upset -- there are MANY other online sellers to chose from. I will never use OKL again.

They don't deserve ANY stars. They are aboslutely horrible... 6 MONTHS and still waiting on items. HIGHWAY ROBBERY and their communciation with their vendors is horrible. I also purchased two chairs and only one was delivered and they tried to say that I only ordered one even though the order conifrmation and receipt showed more. Absolutely dispicable and horrible people in the service department.

If your seeking comfort in terms of customer service don't buy from this company their policies are way to conduct business is unacceptable. Placed an order called next day to cancel and they would not cancel and after 7 days of placing order they will still not cancel and order has not even shipped just to make sure they charge me their restocking fee on an item that as I stated has not shipped and that I will not even open! What kind of service is this no notifications nothing they can do but glad to charge me a stocking fee and told me I should have read their policies who does that!

Worst company ever! Total rip off - hidden fees, terrible customer service. Wish I would have seen these reviews before. Here's a tip, see something you like, search fro it on other vendors with greta service. Why put up with there horrible service and lying cheating reps! First item I ordered arrived broken in pieces. Still waiting for credit, second time returned and charged 50% re-stocking fee even though it said "returnable within 30 days! 3rd item I tried to cancel and they claimed it was shipped ven though in the system it showed pending they could not provide tracking,

The libby bed, which we waited 2 months for, doesn't assemble like it shows on the website. The bed is taller than shown, the headboard is unstable. The base is very good. But the headboard ruined it all. Customer service did nothing to rectify the situation - they just gave us a return. So we have wasted enormous amounts of time assembling, disassembling and waiting for this basically unusable bed. These black bars stick up if you assemble as shown on the website

I ordered a dining table … the freight company only delivered the base and not the top. Over a month later I am still dealing with them. No table …I asked for a refund and I was told Pilot has to come pick up the base first. Great please come get it. The day they were supposed to pick it up they never showed up.
Basically they don't care and you can't talk to anyone. Only emails and it takes them 2 business days to respond.
I have never given anyone a bad review but this has been the absolute worst experience. I still don't have a refund … it goes on and on…

I ordered a sofa, and it was made-to-order so it took five months to arrive. When it finally got here, I discovered that it's not the color I ordered. It's also non-returnable. When I spend thousands of dollars on a piece of furniture, I expect to get what I ordered. I'm very disappointed and won't be ordering from them again.

I purchased a media cabinet in 2018, out of nowhere the plastic coating is peeling and cracking - I had no idea is was plastic to begin with, no way to repair and they do not care to offer any guidance, "sorry you purchased such an expensive cabinet from us... stinks to be you" DO NOT BE FOOLED - HIGH PRICES ARE NOT HIGH QUALITY

This type of surface can be fixed by using a professional service such as Furniture Medic (furnituremedic.com), or possibly using a wax repair crayons. You can typically find wax crayons at any big box store or online. This type of surface can separate from heat, humidity, or water spills that were not immediately wiped up.
I ordered a bench, nightstands and dresser from OKL in early July. I understand shipping takes a long time. My order showed up late in August, damaged. There was a huge hole in the back of the dresser and the nightstands were dented on the sides. The bench was ok so we kept it.
The expected delivery for the replaced items was early Sept. The shipping company messed up my tracking numbers and kept saying "OKL hasn't delivered the items" and delayed my shipment over and over. OKL said "oh Pilot has it, that is what they told me" and were rude when I questioned them. The OKL customer service rep, who had been helpful in the beginning (I will give him that credit), just stopped helping me when I called frustrated with the back and forth. I spent way too much money on this furniture for them to just point fingers at each other and NOT HELP ME.
Finally Pilot figured it out and got me in contact with the local shipping company who actually delivers to my house. They called and informed me me new delivery was also damaged. It is October 7th! Just ridiculous service. Cute furniture but don't shop here.

Don't you dare pay $350 (with tax) for a design service either! After waiting 2 years to do this, I dived in thinking that my $15,000 budget would do a small living room some justice. I had a 20 minute phone call with a "designer" and it wasnt anyone that you read about in their blogs or features (At All!) i emailed some inspiration photos and measurements of my room. A couple of days later, I had a mockup of 4 chairs and an ottoman
What is worse, Every single item was $500 more than any other furniture store (after their 20% off) speaking of 15%-20%, most things do not apply. I should be grateful that my designer put 92 items to choose from in my favorites on my acct. That sums up the design services. I cant bring myself to pay $2500 more than what other stores charge for the Same Exact Thing. Maybe some of their "exclusive" things but those are very few. Highly disappointed and will be taking my $$$ to Jaysons home and Garden. Their services are Free and you get a true room plan. Not some 100 items added to your cart to pick and choose from. So confusing for $350 of wasted $$$

Ordered Westport Bar Cart but it was extremely difficult to assemble. Very poor directions and very poor fit of parts. It was awful to assemble and my husband is extremely talented so it is not the person doing the assembly. He has never had as much trouble assembling anything and is very annoyed that I purchased this item.
I recently ordered luxury Belle Epoque 700 thread count sheets which I have had before from another store. All I can say is that these are likely defective knockoffs and this company does not do what is right. After just a short time, the fitted sheet ripped. And after multiple emails, I'm told they can't refund, replace and they are out of warranty and have no policy on this? Create one. This is not the way to do business. I'm a business owner and I'm esclating this to the payment processor. I jumped through all the hoops required and sent pictures and am told, I'm sorry? That's ridiculous.
Do not order from this company. I spent thousands of dollars on patio furniture which was never received. I've spent hours on hold waiting to speak to a customer service representative where I received no help. The warehouse that they use to deliver the product has terrible customer service... no one could answer my questions... I went in circles with them. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY... learn from my experience. If you value your time and money you will order from a more reputable company.

Fraudulent advertising. Sub-par products that are overpriced and poor quality and arrive looking completely different then what is on their web site.
Their prices are way too high for the same product you can find elsewhere cheaper. I ordered a small
Patio umbrella, and they told me it was final sale and not returnable post-order. This wasn't in the item description on their website. I was completely dissatisfied with the product, and they don't care and won't do anything about it. Run away from this store as fast as you can. Don't waste your hard earned money.
I placed an order at the end of May that was due to arrive in July. I used a promo code that I found online (as I often do). At the beginning of July when I had not received a shipment confirmation, I checked the status and my order showed closed. The desk was also showing as no longer available. I sent an email to customer service and after no reply after a week, I sent a follow. Still didn't get any communication. I called 3 times before I was able to talk to someone and they told me the order was cancelled because the producer of the desk ran out of materials for the orders. They said there was system glitch that caused me to not be notified. Then today, almost 3 weeks after my initial email, I receive a reply from customer service saying that my order was cancelled because of the code I used. So two different stories, no notification for either and now the desk is not available. Definitely not impressed with a site that charges so much for their products.
