Be prepared to spend a LOT of time on the phone with customer service to fix brazen, unacceptable lapses in quality. 2 $300 ceramic lamps in massive boxes arrived crushed, completely broken and predictably so, with zero protective packing inside of them. In minute 15 of hold with someone trying to get the boxes picked up and my money refunded.
Buyer beware- Don't expect to get the product that you actually ordered.
I ordered a Blue 9x13 Benton Flat-Weave Rug (and rug pad) and was very excited to find this rug even more excited to see that it was on Clearance however that excitement quickly died when the product was delivered. Instead of a Blue 9x13 flat weave product what i received was an ugly beige 4x6 pile rug. When I contacted customer service that night to get the correct product, I was asked to take pictures of the incorrect product. I did so and a day later was told that the vendor had run out of inventory and was unable to fulfill my request and offered me a discount on the ugly rug they actually delivered. I went back online to see if there were other rugs being offered that I might like I was SHOCKED to see that the product I actually ordered was once again being offered, although now at a higher price. This was a ABSOLUTELY FALSE ADVERTISING and a bait and switch. When I contacted Customer service about this and they responded back saying it was a set -up issue and there was nothing they could do but issue me a refund. We'll see how long it takes me to get my full refund... Although I have used One Kings Lane in the past I will never use it again and will be filing a complaint with the FTC and BBB.

While OKL presents itself as a higher-end company, their products are inconsistent at best and very low quality at worst. I ordered two bedside tables which were misrepresented as wood; upon delivery they were found to be wood with particleboard, resulting in a cheap, hollow feel to the pieces. Worse yet, they were shipped from a Kohl's store: not exactly a retailer known for quality merchandise and not a place I would ever consider shopping.
On another occasion, I considered a chandelier offered by OKL from a high quality manufacturer. Offered at a very competitive price, I ultimately passed on it due to exorbitant shipping; upon later finding the site was offering a free shipping deal, I discovered the chandelier had increased substantially in price. It seems OKL will make their money one way or another. I ended up buying the same piece from a reputable local lighting store for a slightly lower price. In summary, in buying from OKL, you're gambling on quality and the prices are no better than other retailers. I can't see any benefit to shopping this site.
I purchased a gold X ring and the photo provided on the site is much superior to the product I received. I received a cheaply made thin gold ring.

I have been trying for one week to get a situation resolved. I was shipped the wrong sized vanity stool. Instead of shipping a new one in a timely manner I have to wait for the vendor to respond. I have had good experiences with them and only one other problem and they resolved that one with the first call. Wayfair/Joss and Main apologizes and resolves it immediately and make sure I am satisfied. This is so very frustrating!
To say they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced would be an understatement. They have admitted both verbally and in writing their responsibility for the shipping error, they have agreed to pay to correct same. However I have yet to see any of it. They went so far to offer an 800.00 credit for a 5,000.00 table. In total my experience with them has cost me over 12,000.00 to say I'm unimpressed would be an understatement. Again - avoid any and all transactions with this company unless you have the name of a good Attorney. 3.5 months later I finally have my Table... yes one Kings Lane did pay for the shipping of the replacement table but not customs or duties (after much ado) they did however lay blame on the shipping company I used to pull their product out of the US for not noticing their (as in One Kings Lanes) mistake in the first place. I am now stuck with a useless pedestal which they want back but wont pay for it's return. Like they said to me "sorry I don't ship international". I stand by my original comments and advise people to think twice before dealing with this company. You can find all the products they sell elsewhere they are nothing more than a middle man. I love their product but are horrified by the customer care. I bought 2 vintage chairs, which I love, but I'm still dealing with the multiple pending charges on my credit card. It's been a major pain, especially around the holidays. There have been as many as 3 pending charges on my account at any given time. I received the chairs a week ago and still have pending charges on my account plus the actual charge. It's making my Christmas shopping harder to do, since there's a hold on that money. The customer care department had been less then helpful and the people incharhe of charging the money are totally absent. Buyer beware.
Will NEVER buy from them again.
I ordered the Benoit Club Chair in May of 2014 - birch frame, bicast leather upholstery. The $700 price tag ("retail $1300") seemed like a good deal. Within 1 year the cushion is flaked and peeling and falling apart. When I contacted Customer Service I was told there was nothing that could be done because the order was placed longer than 6 months ago.
The quality of the furniture does not match the price tag. I now have a $700 chair that I have to have reupholstered after less than 2 years. It's embarrassing to have this in my living room.
I will never order furniture from OKL again.
I recently moved into a new apartment and placed 6 different orders more or less back-to-back with One King's Lane, several furniture pieces and other items like a rug, mirror and art. 4 of my 6 orders had serious problems with them, leaving me to understand, like the earlier reviews, that ordering from OKL is like rolling the dice - you will actually receive your merchandise, undamaged, only about 40% of the time. Two separate orders (a dining room table and a piece of art) were so damaged the delivery people refused to even deliver them. When I reported the dining room table to One Kings Lane, they took over a week to get in touch with the vendor, and told me I could have another table delivered in 2 months. This date was then pushed back to 3 months and I seriously doubt I'll ever see that table. With the art, I was offered no assistance with getting a replacement, I was simply told to "buy it again online if I still want it." With another order of armchairs, I called after they were nowhere to be found over a week after the stated delivery date. I was then informed that the vendor actually had run out of those chairs, despite OKL enabling me to purchase them on their website. I wonder if they were ever going to let me know this? With another order of dining room chairs, they arrived in sub-par condition (the bottom pieces of chair legs missing or broken off), but I just fixed them on my own to avoid the hassle of dealing with the company again. Bottom line, anything advertised as "only 1 or 2 left" is likely not really available, and they seem to do better with non-breakable, non-furniture home goods. It's a real shame because I love their website and items, but they are simply not exercising any degree of oversight over shady, random overseas vendors. The level of irresponsibility with no disclaimers on the website is so ludicrous (I mean, 60% of my orders, really?) that I intend to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Until they get a handle on their vendors or else prominently warn customers that they are not exercising any oversight or taking any responsibility for packing, availability, etc, they shouldn't be doing business, let alone as a "luxury" brand. What a joke. And to think they used to not even except returns! That's straight up fraud.

Order a painting that came with a hole in the shipping box and a hole in the painting. Took a month to receive it and when I called to get a new one they made me jump threw hoops. Not only that the next shipment took a month as well. Two months for a product, plus the hassle to return the item (emailing pictures, printing return labels, boxing it up, taping, dropping off at a Fedex location, etc). Definitely wouldn't recommend ording from them.

I don't have an axe to grind and don't typically write reviews. But I had two customer service experiences that lead me to believe this company is not ready for prime time retail. They spend their effort in looking good and having slick shots, It is so enticing that I just bought a rug from them against my better judgement. But as others have said, buyer beware on 2 things: 1. Pricing- the great deal is the exception vs the rule, 2. Customer service is laughable for a company that tries to have an online presence, and 3. Descriptions are vague and delivery dates aren't set in stone. When you have online benchmarks like Amazon and Land's End online, you can't play with the big boys with haphazard service. I have bought several things over the last several years and rarely is it great quality without a hitch. It has happened, so hope springs eternal. Two examples: I bought a green chair for my green scheme living room. The chair arrived but was red fabric instead. They had no idea because it came from China. It took weeks to figure out what to do. I was happy to send it back, but they wanted me to take it to a shipper and pay for their mistake. Also, I bought an earring necklace set. I got the earrings, but the necklace was hilariously mismatched and looked like some bizzare rapper necklace. They seemed baffled to understand why I wanted the necklace as it was a set. Another set of calls,,,,,
So you can cherry pick items, but have low expectations and they might be exceeded.

I have ordered twice from them. The first time, the plate I ordered was poorly packed, arrived broken, and could not be replaced. The second item was represented as English, silver, and had an 1898 date on it. When it arrived, it was an over-priced, poor quality replica made in India. I will never order from them again!

I ordered what I thought was a lovely, multi-colored Chagall lithograph and received a different one of lesser quality. I called OKL's customer service and was asked to send a picture, which I did. I expressed concern that there was only one copy left of the one I had originally ordered and asked if I would, indeed, be able to get the lithograph I ordered. It has been more than 48 hours since I spoke with the first customer service rep AND the lithograph is marked as SOLD OUT online. The status of my complaint remained a mystery beyond the 48 hour period. I would like to acknowledge though that when dealing with OKL's customer service they are uniformly courteous, apologetic and attempt to be as responsive as they can. I was told that they need to give their vendors 5-7 days to determine what happened. I didn't find this a satisfactory time window, especially since the item was marked SOLD OUT. I was given the option of a return/refund instead, which I took. Although I wasn't happy with the time windows, I do feel that OKL's customer service is stellar because they don't question or hassle you when you have a problem. I later learned that the vendor had sent the wrong packages out. My story does have a happy ending though. I did more research on this print and found it available on a number of other sites for almost $80 less framed and so I was able to buy it after all and for less money! The moral of the story is when you see something on OKL that seems exclusive and special, especially the art, do your research first! I dodged a bit of a financial bullet. :)

I needed some new accent chairs in time for thanksgiving but was unaware that my order would not arrive until shortly before Christmas.
I called customer service to cancel and a very helpful lady, Amber explained how the process of cancellation works. She also informed me that it was a custom order hence the delay.
She sent me an email and said someone will be in touch with me. Hopefully, they will. Today is the second business day. I spoke with Amber on Saturday.

Item never received after order went through, waited 2 weeks, then contacted customer service and was told it would be another week to ten days to get a reply to my request for info. They took my order and my payment info, have my contact info but did not send an email informing me of any problem. However, since I signed on to the OKL site I have received a ridiculous amount of advertising emails, it would have been nice if at least one of the messages concerned my unfulfilled order.

I ordered a nightstand. The legs of the nightstand are not flush with the rest of the piece -- if I run my finger around the leg I can feel the pieces of wood (glued/stuck together) to assemble this nightstand. Furthermore, OKL does not inspect it's furniture. One of the legs is also cracked. For the amount that I paid you would think that I am buying a quality piece of furniture -- x
I also ordered a rug from OKL. The ends of the rug perpetually roll up (don't roll flat). Again, another piece of junk.
Do buy from this group. You don't know what you're getting. If they don't provide the brand of the furniture, don't take the risk.
PS To add insult to injury: their shipping fees are outrageous and they're shipping junk to your doorstop.

I wish I had found this site three years ago! I bought a few pieces of vintage grain sack furniture from OKL in 2012. The description from OKL said they were in excellent condition. The furniture looked good and clean in the pictures. I was very disappointed when the furniture arrived. The "vintage" sofas and chairs were just cheaply upholstered old furniture hardly worth $6200. The seems were and are coming apart. I cringe when guests who are over 100lbs sit on the furniture because they are not sturdy. I felt like I had been royally had. Since I bought with the understanding of "no returns" and after spending so much money for what I thought was going to be my dream furniture I've been living with this junky furniture until I can save up again to buy real furniture from a reputable source. I just chucked this one up to inexperience and not doing my homework, but never again OKL... never again!
What is it with these websites that think they can ship stuff WEEKS after an order was placed? It is ALWAYS those store websites whose prices don't quite justify the low cost but you get suckered into it anyway... Well, throw it the vague shipping dates and unreliable delivery and well, you get One Kings Lane shipping procedure. They must wait for stuff to fall off Amazon's truck or something. Whatever your thoughts are about the selection, understand that if you buy something special for someone and expect it to arrive within a reasonable 3-4 week window, forget it Make sure you have a back up and make sure you can return that special item or someone will want it someday... when it actually arrives.

I had an issue with a missing item and damaged merchandise. No problem! They refunded in full for both items and gave me a $25.00 credit! A manager (Joseph) personally called me to let me know everything was taken care of and to make sure that I was happy. Really nice customer service people! Thank you OneKingsLane! I bought four framed prints from One Kings Lane and two of them arrived with the glass broken (very cheap glass). I immediately contacted the company, but even though I was within the return period even if the item hadn't been damaged, they required me to send in photos of the broken glass (which I thought was a little strange -- it was sort of an obvious defect and again I was still within the normal return period), but whatever. UPS picked them up the next day with a label provided by One Kings Lane. It took a MONTH after that to get my refund. For damaged items where they already had photographic evidence of the damage and I shipped them back using their label! I buy lots of things online and I've never had this sort of experience before. Usually for damaged items you get a very quick refund, but I've never had even a changed-my-mind sort of return take that long. Very disappointed both in the quality of the items as well as the customer service.
