(1) As I first tried to purchase this stove on a Sunday night, online.
The form would accept everything except our address. Which is just a little different than standard. But it's what the Post Office told us to use, 17 years ago. The next day I called the online number and talk to somebody about getting the Ashley 3200.
The woman I spoke to refused to honor the discounted sale price even after she too had problems with getting our address into their system, I would have thought she understood why the order didn't go through. No luck, but I bought the stove as time was starting to get kinda tight.
(2) The stove ended up getting here about 2 weeks early which was great.
(3) Installing the stove was anything but easy do. Do to the manual that comes with this stove.
It is lacking so many small things that it was very hard to follow, and at times I was wondering, if it was a comic book, or if it was something that we were supposed to be follow.

Helped me pick out the correct product. They also advised on how to return the incorrect product. Very nice people. I would use them again.
We received exactly what we ordered with a very timely delivery. At first we had received an email saying it was out of stock and back ordered. When I called to find out what the timeframe on that was, it turns out that they had just received word that it had come in, and it was being shipped as we spoke. My conversation with the customer rep was very pleasant; I got off the phone feeling good and safe about our purchase. We would definitely do business with this company again.
A bit difficult to navigate the website and was never informed while trying to purchase an item that it was out-of-stock until I tried to pay for it. And then there was still a question in my mind of the status of the item in my cart...
ALSO the vent piping arrived dented with ends damaged. I was warned of this from a local distributor of the same exact products...but I choose Nortline because of pricing.
I have and will in the future think two or three times on what I order from Northline Express. A great price does not makeup for damaged product

We are having a new roof installed on our home within the next few weeks. The original flashing is rusting out so I decided to replace it. Before ordering the new flashing I measured the flu. It measured 8 inches so I assumed I should order an 8 inch flashing. I did think about the fact that the flashing without the insulation was 6 inches, but took a chance and ordered the 8 inch.
When it arrived a few days later, I measured it and realized that I ordered the wrong size. I called Northline Express and asked about returning the unit. The person on the phone was very helpful and told me no problem, just return the 8 inch within 30 days and order the 6 inch.
The following day I packed up the box, wrote the order number on the box, as instructed, and brought it to my local UPS Store. The weight of the box was only 13 pounds so I thought it wouldn't cost too much to return. Boy was I wrong! The guy at UPS told me that it would cost $ 131.00 dollars to return. I believe I paid around $ 168.00 for the 8 inch including tax, which was not refundable.
I took the box home to think about another alternative, like selling it on e-bay or something.
In the meantime, I ordered the correct size from Northline, but I went through Amazon. The new one came in 2 days and it was perfect. The kicker in all of this is that if I had ordered the first on through Amazon, I could have returned it for free. I'm not blaming Northline Express, it was my mistake.

I was looking to extend an existing chimney as the blow back on windy days was unacceptable. We figured this would happen due to the previous owner had not extended it sufficiently. We had a tough time matching the existing pipe as there was no definitive markings on it. I finally found a few numbers and letters that would eventually help. Northlines representative Jennifer was the saving grace. She took the time to contact me and diligently research the numbers I gave her and came up with the proper pipe to use. After installation with the support bracket they supplied us with we are happy to say all is working fantastic. So much thanks to Jennifer for her help. Northline should be more than proud to have such an efficient employee working for them. People like her are hard to come by these days. I would highly recommend northline express to anyone.
Online checking products and needed more information which I called and received the needed information and help with directing me to a better price. Received product the fit and installment worked so the redirecting for a better price at first, I felt unsure. Thanks!
