I wanted to get a simple trailer part. But got stopped by some kind of anti bot software.
After two tries I gave up and it is anti shopping software. Amazon will thank you for having a horrible site. The web designer has trashed your store... worthless
I am the manager for a very large business in Tyler Texas 12 properties and tried to set up an account today 10/19/2022 spoke on phone to woman name Ronnie from roughly 12:30pm to call end time 12:42pm central time Ronnie was extremely rude didn't want to answer any question on opening account rude on every response managed to get and when called back to speak to manager at just put on hold forever 40min never come back to line.
I ordered a 30 inch oscillating fan on 9/9/2022 and have called in 4 times due to no shipping info, was told had to wait a certain amount of time before they could reach out to the manufacturer. Called yesterday and rep got no response from manufacturer so then she mentioned that maybe the one they had in the warehouse could be used as replacement and she was going to look into it and get right back with me.
As you can tell by this review I never received said phone call. I called back today and got the rudest most belittling person ever and if he is your child you should be embarrassed! I asked about what the lady said yesterday and he barked "no way" with no explanation!
I will never use this company again unless said employee is gone!

I bought some welding wire(after buying a welder and accessories, adding up into the thousands of dollars) from Northern Tool. The extra wire I purchased was tangled up and so my feeder couldn't pull it through the machine. This happens when the spool is loosely wound for whatever reason it is not tightly wound.
I called to have it simply replaced or refunded and was told they "couldn't help me because the 30 day period was up since I purchased it." I explained to them that it was a backup spool and so I hadn't opened it until I needed it. I offered to send them pictures of me opening it(before and after within the same two minutes.) I also took pictures of the spool caught up in my welder due to the problem. They were un-interested in doing anything, again, because of the 30 days.
To summarize, I spent my hard-earned money with these clowns who pretend to have integrity. They do not. Any company who wants to point out a 30 day policy instead of just correcting their issue, is not a company to waste your money with. For some reason, even after the price of everything has doubled or more, companies like this think it's ok to just stick it to the little guy some more... as if we don't have enough to figure out how to pay for. I will never shop with them again. I recommend that you don't either.
They took the amount of my order out TWICE, and now my account is overdrawn. They said its their policy and said they'd put back in my account in two to three days, but they haven't yet! Do yourself a big favor and shop somewhere else.
After years of shopping and saying no to their credit card scam, today I had time for it. I applied for their card after hearing their spill for it.
I am a business owner with multiple commercial accounts and 0 outstanding debt except what I incur from monthly operational expenses. A very high credit score as well.
Well, let me say that you can forget about being approved for the card. It's a scam to collect your personal information. Hopefully, a class action suit is in their future.
Received a Ironton air compressor for Christmas. Finally took it out of the box and it doesn't work. Called customer service and they refused to help me. One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company.
Always buying from northern tool. Bought a ultra tow trailer hitch that went bad. They replaced no questions asked. Will continue to shop here
Ordered an item back on May 30th to be shipped to the store. Website says 5-12 business days. Item is still not here (6/22). Store can't tell me anything and customer service only knows it went on a truck 6/4. Customer service was very friendly when I called and told me they would credit my account for the inconvenience. Do not waste time emailing, it was very unhelpful. Called back today as credit card was charged 6/18 for full amount. Now being told item was loaded 6/17. It ships from distribution center first then to warehouse before sending to store. I was told the 5-12 days is from when it leaves warehouse and doesn't include the weeks it takes to make it there. It will be over a month for it to arrive.
We have internet ordered with Ship To Store twice now to get around the $70 delivery fee. Both times it took over a month (second order is still not filled). This last order I talked to their customer service to see how long it would take, they said it was in stock and quoted me 4-6 days. That was a month ago and it's still in the "In Transit" state. Suggested I should pay an additional $40/yr to become a preferred member to get faster free delivery to home next time. There will not be a next time.
I bought a pressure sprayer and, right out of the box, experienced multiple issues with performance. It had a water leak, oil leak, overheating issues and a smoking solenoid and motor. I was blamed for the problems and was threatened with being charged $40 to have the local store look at the defective unit. I was not allowed to be present during the $40 evaluation process. After waiting more than two weeks for an 'evaluation', the local store found 'nothing wrong' with the unit. I was provided nothing in writing about the testing process. The failure symptoms were not taken into account during the evaluation process. The unit was not evaluated with the higher pressure tips which leads to the overheating and seal failure problems. I was also threatened with storage fees for not picking up the defective unit while the credit card company disputed the charges on my behalf. Without a credit card company helping to stand with me, I would have been out of over $1500. Buyer beware, this company WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.
I love shopping at the local store, but the website is terrible. Delivery to the store on my lastest order took nearly a month to arrive. Customer service couldn't tell me where it was or when it would arrive. Rep didn't apologize for the delay until I expressed my displeasure several times. And couldn't do anything to help. I won't be ordering from the website anymore.
Purchased a Stihl battery operated trimmer on May 22nd. I had used it twice as of June 6th. The head no longer was working and it did not turn at all. So I was not worried since it was a Stihl product and a supposed good company I bought it from. Boy was I wrong. I arrived at the store and stood at the front for over 5 mins with the trimmer in hand and the manager continued to talk with a friend about some grilling party they had had. Then one of his store clerks (yes clerk) came up and I asked to have my trimmer replaced as I had it such a minimal time and I needed one. That's when the manager finally figured it was time to engage. He said no. Said Stihl only allowed it in 7 days. I said show me. He couldn't. So I contacted Stihl. They said it was completely up to the store on replacement. Stihl's service response was ridiculous too. I will write a review on their site also. The manager was very rude and could have cared less about my problem. To him he made his store profit and could care less about me and my trimmer he sold me. In 35 plus years of retail I have never been treated or dismissed so bad. This manager needs a permanent brake from his job. I am disgusted. Now I have to go buy another trimmer, a DeWalt, this time. I am also contacting the ND Attorney General office since the manager says he can do whatever he wants.
Recently shopped at a local Northern Tool Store (2) to buy a replacement log splitter motor. Both Northern Tool Stores recommended a specific Briggs and Stratton motor but neither had one in stock so I had to order one from Northern Tool. The one I ordered is the one I received but it is a lawn mower motor, not a splitter motor, as it has the emergency shut off to be hooked to the handle of a mower. I need the Briggs on/off switch instead of the mower shut off switch that came on the mower. Should be a simple enough fix!? Customer Service is totally non existent! No one answers the phone, no one responds to e-mails, nothing! My advice, shop somewhere else!
I purchased 6 adirondack chairs. My order date was 4/26/2021. I received my order sometime last summer (I didn't note the date). However it was late enough in the summer to not put the chairs together. I had the chairs stored in their box in the garage on a shelf. So this weekend, I opened the boxes to put the chairs together. Each box contained broken parts. The shipping material was very thin and clearly not effective. I assembled 5 chairs out of the lot and asked for replacement parts for the 6th chair. They no longer have any parts, I asked for a refund - I'm passed the warranty period, by 8 days... and i'm counting from the order date, not the receipt date. This company does not honor their quality of product. I purchased this product from Leigh Country. Leigh Country will not address the problem. Shop elsewhere. Note, from the picture below, the green highlighted items are the pieces that were broken.
I bought an inverter here only to find out its the harbor frieght inverter with different stickers feel scammed.
They made a mistake and took $519.21 out of my account unauthorized and now I'm having trouble getting it back, stay far away from this horrible place, not even American made products, mine came from Canada
I paid for a heater that was in stock at a wearhouse.
One week latter still sitting in wearhouse but was told it would be shipped soon to a different wearhouse. I canceled the order as i was renting a heater and they couldn't give me delivery date.
Order canceled 7 days after order and as of 39 day later they still haven't returned my mon.
Tried ordering some parts from them since they showed in stock. I needed the parts by the weekend and they showed I should receive it by thursday if I paid next day shipping so I did.
Order was still processing on Saturday, so I called to cancel. Was told it would cancel. Had to call again since it wasn't cancelled, promised they would cancel the order.
Then on Monday, order still not cancelled, person arguing with me and talking over me that it wasn't showing as cancelled (duh, thats why I am calling yet again).
Avoid, will never purchase from them again.
Answer: Absolutely horrible, you get the rub around with emails containing same useless info from multiple people, shop elsewhere and save yourself the stress and anxiety
