Signed up for NORDVPN on 09.23.23. Multiple sites picked up I was using a VPN. Funny thing - I also got a captcha trying to access my NORDVPN account while using their service. Requested a refund via the 30 Day Moneyback guarantee and they declined to refund money. Refund was requested same day as I signed up. Will have to reach out to my credit card for a chargeback. I would not recommend this company at all. If you still want to use them please screenshot any claims made for the 30day money back guarantee claim because it will be useful if you have to contact credit card/PayPal for your chargeback. Honestly I would urge your to try ExpressVPN or Mullvad before NORD.
I updated my rating from 1 to 4 stars after the company addressed my concerns and removed my credit card information from their website. However, I did not give them a 5-star rating as this feature is not readily available on their site. If you want to have your credit card information removed, you must also make a complaint.

However, I noticed that removing my credit card details from their website is impossible once payment has been made unless I delete my account. I have a 2-year subscription with them, but I may not renew their services if this policy remains unchanged.

I had a dispute about the amount charged for my service and instead of helping me they shut down my account without refunding anything.
I had to go through my credit card company to get my money back. They literally stole my money and were very smug about it through email.

I ended up not using this product because of their inappropriate billing practices. They charged me for "sales tax" - which is actually the EU VAT - when I am located in the US. Their pricing on their website looks like you get 3 months free if you select a 2 year package, but that is not true - you are charged for all 27 months. Also, I selected the "continue" button, which turned out to be a "finalize purchase" button, VERY MISLEADING. Spent over half and hour on "chat" trying to get my "purchase" refunded.

I was a seven year user of Nord VPN. The service was shutdown requiring a two step verification to restart. I was unable to use the Authenticator as requested to get back online. When this didn't work they required bank statements and credit card verification which was onerous and also just generated more email frustrations for me and no VPN service. 16 emails were exchanged and in the end I dropped the service with about five months paid service remaining. After all this about a week later they said that they would reset my service. I told them that I had already setup with a new VPN service. DEFINITELY DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU REQUIRE A DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE GROUP!

I tried to buy Nord VPN coverage, but on the invoice I was charged TWICE for GST, once on their invoice, and second time when I was to pay via PAYPAL. After exchanging three or four e-mails, I could NOT get a straight answer from them.Their program did NOT even download, so I do not use their product. I approached American Express to void the sale.They are in the process of "investigating"...Stay away from that company. They deserve MINUS 5 stars rating!

I renewed my two-year subscription on May 3rd this year and found a notification that my license 'expired' past weekend (Aug 20), when logging in again the system was askig me to renew it. I knoew this was off so I started chatting with support (helpful guy) and I found out I've been banned. He opened a ticket (ID #*******), thank you, chat support guy) and another person followed up, letting me know that
"in this case, our tools have detected your account performing potential web scraping activity. Unfortunately, your account is suspended indefinitely.

I did have more questions, like why no warning (I was utulizing tool for my work scraping a domain that is owned by the company I work for--I'm happy to provide details), why are they pushing to have VPN on ALL THE TIME if there are restrictions to the use, and finally if can I get back my money for the remaining 20 months that I paid for. Dionio didn't bother to even reply to my questions for a third day in a row now.
While I understand it's their right to stop the service--not even responding to the money back request (or other questions for that matter) is simply poor service. And beyond that trying to get me to shell out more money (with a screen on my account stating nothing about the ban, just asking to renew) is plain terrible sales tactic.

On March 20th 2023 we paid for a subscription for a year and a few months later I see that the VPN stopped working I contacted the support explained what happened and they told me that I run a VPN for illegal things and this violates their policy. It's just terrible I use VPN for my company I have to constantly turn it on so that I can go through the search for other countries to buy goods well, as they did I accused me of false information I was just horrified they stole the money they took away the subscription just scammers your policy is simple and the system equals the trash company all the best hope no one else stumbles upon you
We needed a VPN purely to use it to search for truck parts abroad and you wrote me about some scripts and your program worked protection and thereby limited our account please delete it in your VPN system because it does not work correctly and your employees are full s/ht

I purchased 1 month subscription assuming it was just for a month, but it turns out it auto renews. On the first day of next billing cycle my credit card was charged and I contacted NordVPN to cancel and get a refund, but they pointed to their Terms of Service and would not issue refund. I get the ToS, but would appreciate more flexibility for cases like mine.

BEWARE! 24/7 customer support is an outright lie. You can't reach out to customer service via phone or live chat. You only receive a response from Nordvpn representativesis if you write a review on a website. It is always a generic response that points you right back to the same email that DOES NOT respond. Any comments about great customer service are either paid or made by bots. Only response received are on review boards Don't waste your money. They'll respond with 24/7 customer service is waiting write another email guaranteed resolution. Only received automated response in 24 hours. We have received a request (ID #*******) with a subject title "Refund Request"

I have been trying to use it, seems 4 months now, and it doesn't work. U are supposed to be connected, but you have no internet whatsoever. It is garbage. I have tried to change all the possible protocols to get a better connection, but nothing works. Don't waste ur money... IT IS THE WORST VPN EVER.

I bought a Nordvpn subscription using paypal. Nordvpn will not recognize the active, paid subscription. I can not use the service w/o an active subscription. Customer service tells me my account is active, which irrelveant since wo a subscription it is useless. Terrible customer service

TOOK MY MONEY FOR A 2 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION, THEN DISABLED MY ACCOUNT
I have had Nord VPN for more than a year. I recently bought 2 YubiKeys and set that up in 2FA and logged in multiple times to test that it is working and they blocked my account for "scraping" and then reactivated it and now... 2 weeks later they did the same thing, without me even logging into any new devices. I don't even know what scraping is, and they refuse to give me any details, so they took my money for 2 years and then blocked my account and can't tell me why, so in my opinion they SCAMMED me.
NO Call support, just email and takes a long time, with no resolve, WOULD WARN YOU AGAINST THEM!
Terrible customer support. Just says, sorry we can't help you, someone will contact you, without any explanation about the details why.

NordVPN was my 3rd VPN service. I subscribed for 2 years because they had a decent review. After one month of use the turned off my service because their "automated tools" detected I was "web scraping". I am a retired person using a single desktop. Aside from the occasional BitTorrent book I am NEVER done anything like webscraping. Repeated emails to support to cancel my account are replied to by robot mail saying my account is suspended indefinitely. No further explanation. No Cancellation. Word of warning: they are clearly monitoring your traffic and given their crappy analysis tools they probably have all that data laying around on their servers. Let my loss be your gain: DO NOT USE NORDVPN!

Been a member of NordVPN services since December 2021. NordVPN worked for maybe, MAYBE, a couple of months before it turned into just constant issue after issue. You contact customer support and they do everything in their power to make you feel like you are the problem and not their terrible service. Their customer support is the most inept support team I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with.
Months ago, I contacted NordVPN support because out of nowhere, nothing from the iCloud worked unless I turned off NordVPN. No downloads, no access. They claimed this was not an issue on their end and led me through HOURS of useless troubleshooting. I searched online and noticed SEVERAL HUNDRED complaints with my same issue. There was no resolution. About three months later, an update was released for the NordVPN app and magically all the iCloud services started working again. How coincidental... Yet the NordVPN team PERSISTED in telling me that the iCloud issue was on my end.
I then had to contact support again months later because the service just stopped working completely out of nowhere with zero changes made on my end; Internet searches showed that MANY people were experiencing the same exact issue as me. Support vehemently denied any issues with their service and offered tedious and unhelpful troubleshooting. Several days later, me and everyone else who was experiencing issues ALL magically stopped having issues. How crazy that every single one of us had our issues resolved days later, without doing anything on our end and yet NordVPN still claims there were no issues on their end. Not only that, but the customer support agent I dealt with, was super abrasive, condescending and wholly unhelpful.
AVOID THIS COMPANY. As soon as my plan ends, I am RUNNING to a different company.

Quick and satisfied answers on all my questions.
On all questions I had they gave me an satisfied answer.
The server in which my dedicated ip is was down for more than 18 hours.
This ip is essential for my work.
Nobody informed me, live chat agents lied saying everything is fine and the problem is in my device while they know that that servers are down.
It took 6 hours(!) till customer care replied to me saying there is a problem and not helping with a solution.
Also they took no responsibility while saying this is the terms of conditions so my problem.
Horrible service.
Won't renew my subscription there!

I've been a NordVPN and NordPass Customer for a few years now. I rarely if at all have any issues with the service. However, just recently my Nord Service was not quite!00% and I needed a better understanding of how the application was functioning. I contacted Nord directly and before I knew it I was dealing directly with Nord Customer Service who guided me through a re-set, which corrected the issues I was having.
