I love Nordstrom rack. I buy many things from them. I have a no hassle return policy and clothes and shoes at great prices.
While my online purchase from Nordstrom Rack (Hautik Rack) was charged on my Nordstrom credit card... the two are nothing alike in service. I ordered a small item under $27.00 and was charged $7.95 for shipping. It did not fit so using their return label cost another $5.95. So, it cost over half of the items value for shipping. I won't use again because there are so many great websites that offer faster shipping for free.
I've always had positive experiences with Nordstrom/Rack, but this year I ordered a pair of Ugg boots on 12/15/17 and the website said it would ship in 1-3 business days. I panicked when it still hadn't arrived by 12/23/17 and called. They said it never got assigned to a fulfillment center and they said they'd check into it. I never heard back (and I also disappointed the person who was supposed to get the boots as a gift on Xmas day) and finally heard back after Christmas that they're sorry, the boots were apparently NEVER in stock and they'd refund my money. Yeah, right. What about the person who didn't have a gift on Christmas? Why advertise a product when you can't fulfill it? So disappointed in Nordstrom's, they used to have great customer service. I would advise people to use Amazon or Zappos instead of NOrdstroms in the future if you need something delivered on time. They have similar products and have never let me down in terms of shipping on time and getting back to me promptly.
On December 12th, I placed an order on Nordstrom Rack. I ordered a pair of tank top for $4.78, a pair of tennis shoes, and a pair of sandal. I also ordered a pair of sweater pants. The total order exceeded $100 so I thought I would get the free shipping. When I checked out, however, I saw the order including the tank top, the tennis shoes, and two pair of the same sandal but no sweater pants, which was out of the stock. Since my order still exceeded $100, I decided to keep the extra pair of sandal so I could give it to my girl friend as Christmas gift. My mistake was not review the final order again after submitting it as I was in rush.
The order came separately, the tank top and tennis shoes came first. One pair of sandal came a few days later. I thought it was strange that only one pair of sandal came so I went on line to check my order. I found out that my tank top actually was charged with $10.78 and only one pair of sandal was included, which brought my order under $100 and I was charged with $7.95 for shipping.
I contact the representative on line, who was rude and unaccommodating. She said I should check my order next time but she did not explain why the tank top price went up or what could possibly happened between the screen when I placed the order and the one showed the final order. By the way, the shipping slips coming with the products did not list any price.
To customers who would order products on line, please check your order carefully before placing it. As for me, I would not shop on line again.
SAME PROBLEM - cancelled items after selling them to me! Don't expect to get them just because you paid for them. First and last time shopping there.
The deals are good, but if you don't get the items, it doesn't matter.
And they don't care at all. I have it happen with another online merchant and they were great, and really gave you the feeling they were sorry it happened.
I wanted a small Christmas with my husband. Asked him to order me a pair of Zendaya boots and only boots. I received the wrong color AND style. When we called customer service they told us they were sold out of the actual style I had purchased! (showed proof of order through order number) They want me to pay to send the boots back! They will refund me my money but do not have the boots in stock that I actually ordered. I am now without a gift, inconvenienced by sending these back AND paying for my own shipping. I have never been more disappointed with a purchase and with customer service in my life.
I've read a lot of reviews written here, and i had the SAME problem. I ordered 6 items I was super excited about them. A day later, I got an email saying 4 items weren't available, and they were 'sorry' for the inconvenience, and I wouldn't get the items. I can see from other reviews that Rack has been doing this a LOT. I sent an email to them asking to cancel everything if my order cannot br fulfilled, why they wouldn't say the items were sold out if it's sold out, I'm disappointed
I don't usually write reviews and don't want to sound like an entitled American, but thought it'd be useful to share the information so that maybe Nordstrom Rack / Haute Look makes some improvements. First of all, the online shopping experience could use some improvement. When I was checking out, I had to enter information a few times to get through the process.
After confirmation, I was contacted by an order specialist to verify info. I gather it's for "fraud protection" but it really doesn't seem like my transaction was that unusual. After that call, I got an email from them stating that my order couldn't be fulfilled, but just 1 part of it and the shipping was refunded. They didn't say what would happen to the remaining part and whether it would still be shipped with expedited delivery. I'd have to say that the specialists just had a little bit of a tone like they didn't really know what's going on too.
Sad that Nordstrom's brand is being tarnished, even though i guess it's their downmarket brand. From reading other reviews, i'm left to wonder if I'll even get my remaining order.

I have waited over 12 days for my item to reach UPS. Although I received notification from Nordstrom Rack that my item has shipped via UPS, it has not entered UPSs tracking system. UPS states they are still waiting to receive it. This is totally unacceptable. I was told that I have to wait another 5 days before they can cancel my order and credit my card. And this is the second time this has happened to me at this store. The customer service is nothing like Nordstroms. The headache is not worth the sale price. I will never shop with this store online again.
Ordered a bangle from nordstrom rack online. Website said that the bangle was available but it turns out it wasn't. Nordstrom had actually labeled a different bangle with the name of the item that I had purchased. When I called to have this bangle exchanged they told me they only do returns and I should go online and reorder the bangle... which obviously they don't have. Luckily the website now says that the item is sold out, but I have a feeling it was sold out long before this. Customer service is terrible and they are a company of false advertisement of availability which they blame on the computer. Don't order online you never know what you will get.
I recently started shopping at nordstromrack.com and have had the worst customer service experience. To begin with,
Item's that are out of stock, listed as "in stock" and after placing my order, I got a cancellation email.
They also use the most unreliable company for International shipping, Land Mark Globel, and land mark has a sub contractor delivery company - Apple Express. Both companies, the least effective and most unreliable.
Inquiries about my returns was a nightmare. It took over a month to get my money back.
Every time I call, I got a different explanation. One of the agent puts me on hold to find out why it's taking too long, and she came back after 15 min hold to tale me that her supervisor will give me a call back... half hour later, supervisor 'Adrian' called back. Very ARROGANT. He didn't even have the common courtesy... his tone of voice sounds like he was on the brink of a mental breakdown. Certainly, I have a right to inquire about my money, I didn't understand his behavior at all.
I e-mailed customer relations, never got an answer.
Nordstrom Rack, YOU have the worst customet SERVICE that ranks at the bottom. Your policy and customer care department needs some cleanup.

I have shopped at Nordstroms for 5 decades. This year the online experience has gone downhill and I hope it improves to compete in todays market. So many errors including notifying me of numerous items out of stock that I purchased, AFTER they should have arrived. I was attempting to Christmas shop and now have a number of cancelled items and at least one that hasnt been delivered, 10 days after the order date. Now leaving to visit relatives without many of the gifts we intended to leave there. If its not going to be shipped in a timely manner thats fine, just please dont say it is. If you dont value those shopping your online clearance section which I was, realize those same customers likely shop your stores as well. I tried the Lynnwood Rack this month and it was disappointing. Oh yes, I tried the clearance section again and at the end of the day after work. Employees seemed more interested in closing than helping. The clearance racks didnt used to be completely disheveled and disorganized. Im hoping it improves. The online tracking software needs to improve as well with the holiday season fast approaching. While many things have changed with the modern era, there are some things that shouldnt change, namely customer CARE.
The most horrible customer care service be through phone or chat! Doesnt help one get back their refund and we are told different kind of stores every time you call back and the call is usually disconnected or they hang up on you while you are waiting

I ordered a MAC blush from Nordstrom Rack online. I was very excited since it was on sale and a retired color. When i opened my package, to my disappointment it was an eye shadow. I contacted Nordstrom Rack immediately and they "apologized" and told me to place a new order and will refund my shipping. Well the item sold out. They then just basically said here is a label so you can return the wrong item. I returned the item using the label they provided, I literally live in the same county and my return has yet to be received! Its been 4 days! I received the wrong item and I have no money. I spoke with three separate reps and that last one Brian S was no help. I want my refund!
