Horrible customer service

I ordered a 99 dollar Christmas gift from amazon and it was susposed to get delivered to Nordstrom and I never got it and its 3 days after Christmas and I asked for a refund and never got my money back

Worst customer service I have ever received - not only were both the representative and supervisor unhelpful, they completely brushed aside my concern as if it was unimportant. I purchased a $300+ Christmas present and chose the shipping option that would guarantee delivery before Christmas. Not only did the gift not arrive (and won't until next week) they offered to email me a $25 gift card in place of the gift. $25 gift card in place of a $300 gift? Seriously? No discount, no rebate. Nothing. Why would I ever order from this company again when I could go through Macy's, Amazon or Bloomingdale's (all of which were able to deliver the rest of my packages with plenty of time to spare and less lead time to deliver)? So disappointed in this company.

Best EVER

#1 Free Shipping and Free Returns is AWESOME! Never any problems if you don't like something or don't like the fit, just send it right back. They have great sales and their website works very well, unlike some others where you get hung up or lost. There clothing, shoes, etc are always of great quality. I'm in love with Nordstrom online shopping.

What is more perfect that getting FREE S&H on EVERY thing you want mail ordered, no matter if it is $1 or $1,000,000.
NO other business I have come across offers this amazing customer service.
Nordstrom carries high quality clothing, makeup lines, all designers and I just adore the variety of high-quality product lines, sales, and customer service! :)

Intrusive Customer Policy

I recently attempted to purchase an item on line with a store gift card. Even though the purchase was less than the amount of the gift card, the online site requires the buyer to enter a credit card. I fine this offensive as the store already has the money from the card payment, yet wishes to store your credit information though not being used. If the company has already received payment, there is no reason to require more personal information from the buyer. The brick and mortar store does not require a credit card be presented when a purchase is made using a gift card and neither should the online site. They insisted that the card will not be charged and is perfectly safe. However this is the same statements shared by other retail stores prior to being hacked. I recommend never buying a Nordstroms gift card due to this type of policy.

First time, okay

It was my first time purchasing from Nordstrom online, and while the website is great and beautiful, the operations seemed a mess! It took too long to receive my sweater, and was told that there were delays on the "courier end" as opposed to their own. Of course, not their fault, but perhaps they could've updated me more! Maybe in-store purchases will be different.

Horrible experience

I went to the store and ordered the boots I wanted when they came in the mail they had a couple scratches and dried mud on the bottom of them so I took them back to the store the lady said she doesn't know how that happened so she ordered me a new pair with one day shipping she said they would be here today and they aren't here because they are still in Oregon where they were being shipped from so I called the store and talked to the manager who said there's nothing he can do they will be there tomorrow so I told him I wanted my money back and all he said was "ok you can return them to the store at your earliest convenience have a nice day bye" and then hung up

I will forever shop at Nordstrom. For one thing free shipping is awesome and I appreciate it so much since I live in Alaska and we don't ever get free shipping off other sites. I bought a suit ( form walnut creek nordstrom) alteration did a very bad job, suit too small and defected. Went to store try to exchange or return it manager told me she can't do nothing about it and told me please leave the store...
So it's buy on your own risk.(when I went to pick it up no one offer or ask me to try it they hand it to me like and said here you go)
Called corporate and every time they answer me and say: ooohh my god ooohh no we don't want this to happen we will call u back and no one called ( i called over 5 times and no help).
No signs in store says we do alteration on customers risk... ill see them in court soon if no reply and if they don't give me my money back...

Very disappointed at the slow speed of order fulfillment. It takes 1-3 days AFTER the order is placed to ship, and then the only shipping delivery option is UPS Ground - which takes another week, which is surprising, since I live in the Chicago area which should be a major hub from CA. I'll continue to shop with them because of the deals but it doesn't make me any less disappointed in the slow turnaround.

Have gone on this site periodically, it is a good site-transitions well going from different view; it offers zoom on pictures of merchandise; I like that if you put items in cart without final purchase it will keep for you like a wish list and hold until your ready; you will receive reminders if you're registered until it no longer available then will ask you to remove when you sign in again.
