I'll never shop with Nordstrom again. They charged me $400 for an order that was $200. When I called their customer service to find out why I was being charged twice they couldn't find my order. They charged me first $219 for my order then $179 for the same order finishing off with a finally charge of $40. I have to go through my bank to dispute the charges to get my money back. DONT ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY. Unless you like attitude from customer service and paying twice for things.
I am really disappointed in Nordstroms. Let's keep politics out of this review! I returned a pair of Paige jeans to Nordstroms Rack in Clearwater, FL - I lost my receipt, but the girls clearly knew me as a frequent shopper. Well, in a nut shell, they wouldn't take them back EVEN though I was purchasing 2 more pairs! I walked out leaving the jeans at the counter on purpose because I was so angry! She actually asked "if I was still going to purchase the 2 pairs I picked out" REALLY! Including politics... STRIKE 2. I've been shopping at Nordstroms since the opening of Nordstroms in Redondo Beach, CA in 1985. What a SHAME!
I am closing my account. I spend 4 to 5k per year at Nordstroms. Apparently Nordstroms only wants to sell it's products to the half of the population who agree with their politics. I for one, feel it is a good thing that we all have different opinions and I respect others different views. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
First, the last time I went to Nordstrom was about 3 weeks ago. I bought a pair of shoes and could not try them on since my toddler was throwing a fit. However, I wanted to take them home and try them. They ended up being too big. I lost my receipt and the sales representative would not allow me to return them. The shoes were brand new, tags attached and never worn. So now I'm stuck with these stupid big shoes.
Lastly, getting Involved in politics? I LOVE ivankas line and I really don't believe that she was dropped due to declining sales. I will never shop here again.
I used to be a very loyal Nordstrom shopper. Most of my friends and all of my family are never shopping there again due to their recent political attacks on the trump family by there incompetent CEO. That is unacceptable for a publicly traded company to do. Disgraceful.
Why is Nordstrom getting into the political arena? Let's support our President and make America whole again.

This, well educated by the way, "deplorable" will never again shop at your store! I can not believe a store as big and as well known as Nordstrom would even allow their political views to be known to the public. However, they have not only blatantly announced their views, and excluded at least half the country, they have done so in such a way as to show absolute disdain for folks like me. I am a 75 year old lady who very much enjoys nice things, but I will indeed find those things somewhere else!
I have shopped at Nordstrom's for years. The customer service had always been amazing, through the seasons of my life. When I came in post-baby, needing a new wardrobe and feeling less than confident, you delivered, whether online, at the oakbrook or Schaumburg locations. When I have had issues, you have helped cheerfully to resolve them. I have shopped feeling down, and your wonderful sales people have never taken advantage. They tell me what looks good, and what doesn't. That is what keeps me returning again and again. Thank you!

Bought a piece of Nambe service item from them. Very expensive and I am slowly building my wife's collection, This was for a birthday. When I ordered it there was a free shipping and 10% off sale. Awesome! When it arrived it was a floor model, in rough shape and the two knives missing. There was a sticker on the bottom that said floor model. When I called I was told that I would have to buy the replacement at full price and no free shipping since that deal had ended.and they would refund the original price to me when they received the unit No amount pf complaining to higher and higher managers made any difference. Have never purchased anything from them since and have made a point of telling this story to everyone who will listen. Now they have insulted we "Deplorables" by dropping Ivankas line. Boycott them!
I am very disappointed that you have dropped the Ivanka Trump line of shoes etc. I have been in the retail business for over 40 years and never have I heard of dropping a line and making it a public display. Shame on you for bringing politics to into play.

I will never step foot in another Nordstroms, there decision to discriminate against individuals for their political beliefs demonstrates their anti American beliefs - they can sell their goods to the terrorist for which they choose to support.

Had a great experience when one of my items was accidentally shipped to the wrong address. Response was fast, and attentive. Regarding their recent decision to break away from Ivanka Trump's products, this only furthered my appreciation for the company and you have earned yourself a loyal customer!
I have been a Nordstrom cardholder and shopper since 1986 (31 years). I have spent many thousands of dollars over those years shopping for myself, husband, two daughters and their husbands, young grandchildren, friends and relatives. My two daughters went to school with many of the Nordstrom children here in Bellevue, WA and we have had many interactions with the Nordstrom family at philanthropic events over the years. For Nordstrom's to use their business to push their political views is both disappointing and against everything our country stands for. Shame on you Blake, Erik and Pete Nordstrom, you have chosen not to sell items to all your customers. You need to apologize to your customer base for mixing your political views with business. You have lost my entire extended family as customers. Nordstrom's needs to respect all of your customers not just the ones who support your political views. You should remain neutral and compassionate toward all Americans. You come across as greedy, hateful and bitter that your favored candidate lost the election. I can predict you will live to regret this poor decision to politicize taking the Ivanka Trump line out of your stores completely. You could have just done it without the announcement- very telling move.

Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
