I am a merchant wo owns laser hair removal clinic. Ncrowd stopped paying me for the last 3 months. I stopped accepting their vouchers. I called and emailed several times but no answer. Their phoning system seems scam! No body actually answers your phone, they got the same message of leaving a voice mail or sending email.
I regret dealing with them
To consumers, please call business first before buying Ncrowd vouchers!

CHEAP QUALITY. I purchased a 2 carat diamond bracelet for $199 that was valued by ncrowd at $900. I took it to a jeweler for an appraisal and the diamonds were of such poor quality he appraised it at LESS THAN $20. It was only worth the silver and the Jeweler said it was nothing but costume jewelry. I contacted Ncrowd for a refund and they refused because they said there was nothing wrong with the merchandise. I responded that what was wrong with it was that is was not worth $900 that they advertised. False advertising is illegal. They refused to send me a return label. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They need to be put out of business. Most of the merchandise is shipped from China of no quality and no returns. Save yourself the expense and headache. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
I purchased a "deal" with plum district (Ncrowd) for $45 for $500 worth of classic comics. I should have known the deal was too good to be true. Sure enough I received my purchase and $45 dollars worth of comic books amounted to 5 comic books, 2 of them which looked to be taken out of the trash. One of the comics had the the top of every page to be water damaged or yellowed from the sun, the other one was totally folded and bent and looked like it came off the floor after being trampled. When I emailed Ncrowd, I was offered 10% off my next purchase, HUH? I emailed them back asked for a refund and was told no refunds would be given. The deal terms state "No returns unless item is defective". Maybe its me but I think the condition of the comics is certainly defective. I've since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I realize its only $45 but its the principle of the thing. I feel I was misled first by the deal itself and then to receive the comics in the condition they were is an absolute joke. My only hope is to give other consumers some insight on how horrible this company is and how horrible their customer service is. Hopefully this company goes out of business soon which would serve them right for the way they treat their consumers.
I had ordered an item from Eversave only to find out later that day that it wasn't a good fit for me. I contacted them via email and received a quick response.
The entire matter was resolved in less than 24 hours. I wish i could do ALL my shopping through Eversave... they know what customer service is about and everything that I've purchased has been excellent quality.
I called because on of the led lights was not operating properly. Within a few days my problem was solved with a note saying that I would receive a replacement. Such prompt customer service is a rarity so I recommend ncrowd for purchases of items they market.
The New "NCROWD" is run the same way as Dealfind/TeamBuy. Vendors beware, be prepared to collect your payment off of them. They will do whatever they can not to pay you. Buyer Beware this is a company who cannot afford to pay their bills, and will most likely be out of business, again, in the near future.

Hats off to Amanda C. For resolving my issue quickly and professionally! I had ordered an item that was delivered to my PO box but was returned because the post office did not honor my forwarding address to my new home! The item was sent back to the company. In ONE email, I stated the issue and Amanda promptly credited me and I was able to get the item re-ordered and sent to my address. NO hassle, no 'work-around', no 'sorry we can't do that!" Just good, honest customer service! I am a huge Plum District fan and if you are not, you will be!
I purchased a deal through nCrowd last week, paying £89.00 for 5 lip sessions.\when I called the book, the number is unobtainable. When I called the number on facebook, they said they'd call me back. Still no call. Another scam? Will be reporting to trading standards.

I went to use a voucher today at a local restaurant only to be told they wouldn't honour it as Nrowd hadn't paid them

I ordered two of your expandable garden hoses and they came without the connectors that are needed to allow them to be able to hook up and be used. These two hoses are useless! I already replaced the hoses by going to Walmart and purchasing them (not a lot of difference in price). I have contacted support and they say they have contacted the manufacturer and are waiting for a response. I ordered these hoses on 4/15/2015 and now it is 7/14/2015. I don't think it should take this long to get something resolved.

I bought 7 Safari Niagara Vouchers for my daycare. It looked like a regular voucher just like any other ones I have purchased before. The voucher noted that it also came with a $20 outback steakhouse coupon, but you needed to pick this up at Embassy Suites in Niagara falls, way out of the way, but we didn't care as we weren't going to use the restaurant vouchers anyway so we didnt need to go there. My daycare drove all the way up to the Safari with 5 kids and they were turned away! Even though they had the vouchers each with tkt # and scanning code on it, they were told they needed to drive back to the Embassy to pick the tickets up, this was about 2 hrs out of their way, not doing this with 5 kids in the car, so they ended up paying full price which was more than double the cost. As I now have to pay all the parents back for their un-used vouchers I immediately requested a refund since we no longer can use them, nCROWD absolutely refused, claiming they only have to refund if it is within 7 days. They will not address the fact that we were turned away. They will not address that their voucher is misleading and only states you need to pick up restaurant voucher at Embassy. Dismal and dishonest service, Reputable companies refund un-used vouchers, this company is no longer reputable in my books. Plus i see now that they also owe alot of the merchants. I highly recommend people do not buy anything from them. As it stands now I am out of pockets for all 7 tickets plus the cost to refund the other parents, so almost $200.

I had ordered 2 shuttle mp3 players. When they arrived I downloaded music to both of them. When I checked to see if the download worked only one of them was operating. I tried several times and exchanged sd cards to see if that was the problem but nothing on the one.
So i contacted your customer service and within 24 hrs they had answered me and gave me contact information for the company. I followed the instructions and took a picture of the item and sent it to the customer service for that company. After a week I heard nothing fro them so I wrote again and sent another picture of the item. 5 days later still no response. I wrote back to your company and was responded too by Danielle.
She immediately advised she was contacting the company. She then asked me to send a picture of the item again and I did. Within 24 hrs she notified me that the company was sending me a replacement item.
I wnat to take a moment and say how nice it was to have someone like Danielle handle my complaint so quickly and thoroughly. She was quick to respond to me on all e-mails and was pleasant. Its people like her that make your company a pleasure to do business with. She did her job 110% and made sure my complainant was resolved quickly. Its always nice to be able to let management know that they have employees like her that are dedicated and efficient. She is a asset to your company and I just wanted to let you know that, as you normally only hear about the bad things that happen and seldom the good ones.

I am a vendor and twice they get behind in their payments. This time it is 3 months. NO ONE seems to know anything. They keep emailing said they forward to their accounting dept. I am not taking any vouchers again.

I placed an order for an item which stated that it would take 2-4 weeks to receive. After waiting four weeks and not receiving the item, I contacted customer service via email. Customer service responded quickly and resolved the problem immediately. Within a week the item arrived. They were kind, helpful, and very easy to deal with. I was extremely impressed with their service. It is obvious they care about their customers.
My order was lost in transit so Mary at Ncrowd offered to give me a 50 percent credit. I didn't want anything else to purchase so she credited back my account right away.
Had a problem with a shipment that was delayed. Contacted customer service and they got my merchandise on the way to me quickly. Have dealt with this company for several years and am very satisfied with the service provided.
I ordered a really cute bikini in early May. The price was great. I paid for it and waited 3 weeks, nothing arrived. The item didn't arrive till late June. While I was waiting for it I panicked and read some of the reviews on here and I really wish I'd read them before purchasing because I would've rather bought it in store. Delivery took forever. If it weren't for the delivery time I'd give 5/5. Product was good quality and cheap, but not worth waiting that long. I don't have that kind of patience so I probably won't order again, although they have some really neat stuff.

Answer: They are still in scamming business - yes - they sell, but do not ship anything! Do not buy
Answer: No bankrupt. Just name change scam. They do this just about every year when they screw people... they just change their name. We are working on looking into getting them involved in the Federal Trade Commission here in the United States. What have you got over there? Some sort of government organisation?
Answer: Contact the Retail Ombudsman. This is a new service and you can lodge your complaint with them online. If you paid for your items by credit card you should be able to claim the monies back via your card provider. Hope this helps.
Answer: As others have suggested here, ask your credit card company for a chargeback as soon as possible. Explain to your cc company that nCrowd is now in foreclosure and isn't selling any more goods or services. Therefore, any unused store credit or vouchers are now useless. I wouldn't bother to wait for nCrowd to resume selling deals again. You could also send your cc company the information about the foreclosure (see the link below) to support your claim. Also, your cc company will likely request proof (e.g., emails with the merchants or the names of the merchants you have spoken to on the phone) that the merchants were unwilling to honor the vouchers. I was able to get a chargeback by doing the above. Answer: When I got the shaft from this company, I complained to the Better Business Bureau, and asked my state's Attorney General for help. Then nCrowd responded quickly.
Answer: Dear Kath, NCrowd went bankrupt and were taken over (or renamed themselves) BoomStreet. Boomstreet said they would send me a refund but never did. I and a number of others posted warnings on SiteJabber about BoomStreet but these were removed due to "lack of evidence". Now BoomStreet has gone bust after taking more money from people - see BoomStreet.co.uk. This means that small creditors are at the back of the que, don't hold your breath! I would discuss this with your credit card company, that's your best hope. Best Regards, David
Answer: I wish I could tell you, all I know is do not accept a credit to their site. Maybe complain to your credit card company regarding their fraud?
Answer: They are Boomstreet now. Filed bankruptcy and changed their name. That way, they can keep all of the money they have collected from buyers and not send the merchandise. Merchants that do send merchandise on behalf of newly named Boomstreet WILL NOT GET PAID. I recommend finding Boomstreet online and sending them relentless emails demanding your money back.
