Poor customer service, lost my package
April 29, 2022

Princess Allamae of customer service has not responded to my emails since 10 days ago. My package is still missing and there is not record of it on their site. $35 was charged from my bank account when $25 was given as the invoice for shipping. Despite a shipment confirmation email on the 8th of March (before the hacking incident on their site), the tracking link they sent leads to a 404 error page. Paid for door-to-door shipping yet they can't even provide the basic service. I have no idea where my package is or if it's even been shipped, and they do not intend to refund. Ridiculous.
They continue to reply with automated responses on social media instead of addressing their customers' concerns and complaints. Don't bother with this site.

We do apologize for the tracking issue. If our tracking is down we do list the tracking number in the history section of your account. You can use the carriers tracker to view that information.

MYUS provided completely inadequate tracking information and still have no idea how or where my item was lost. I did not insure it as I made the expensive mistake of trusting them to get my item delivered. They failed miserably after two months of futile correspondence back and forth. I asked them to at least do the right thing and refund me the $200 postage costs plus tax for an item they failed to deliver... but they refused. I am now pursuing them via my credit card. They did however offer me a 20% discount for my next item shipped! Honestly! I would not trust them to ship a toothpick and immediately cancelled my membership. The worst international experience ever in 20 years and one star is too generous. Be warned and trust them at your peril. "Princess Allamae" proved to be less than competent, with contradictory information and no real clues over two months and, moving up the chain, "Olive Hans " refused to provide a snippet of compensation for losing an item they failed to thoroughly investigate, still having no idea whether the item even left America. They were happy to accept my membership fee and payments and deduct taxes for an item I never received, but unwilling to take any responsibility for errors on their part.
I immediately cancelled my membership... and guess what? They deducted another months membership fee using my direct debit. I had to cancel the credit card to stop them thieving from me. TRUST THEM AT YOUR PERIL

They charged me more than double the quoted minimum shipping costs ($40 instead of $16.99). They didn't include import taxes and duties in the price as I had requested. I had to pay those taxes when the package arrived which is far more expensive. All up it cost me $80USD more than expected to get my package. They offered me an $11 credit. I sent multiple messages saying that wasn't good enough. They ignored me and applied the $11 credit anyway. 0 stars. Will not use again.

Full of tricks

STAY AWAY from this company. There are a lot of pitfalls. If i knew this at the beginning, i wouldn't register at all.

1. The basic free membership

Your packages is shipped out automatically. You have no control on carrier, cost, time, etc. the shipping cost is debited from your paypal or credit card agreement.

2. If Pay Duties & Taxes Now option is selected, the only carrier option is the expensive Fedex priority. In my case, $38 to canada.

3. Package consolidation only works for expensive carriers, which defeats the idea of cost saving, regardless of premium or business account. Paying $10/mth membership does not save you any but just puts your incoming package on hold and let u ship when you're ready.

For economy carrier option, in my case, $16 to Canada.
But they say:
Consolidation not available
Package Count Limit: 1

I thought Package Count Limit refers to the shipment package so didn't pay attention to. Actually this means the incoming package arrived at their warehouse.
If you want to combine two incoming packages, you have to choose expensive carriers.

In my case, I placed a single product order of $40 from Walmart.com but Walmart shipped the order in there packages.
I ended up paying $38 for the 1st automatically shipped out package because I chose the basic membership, and had Pay Duty Now option on. Then I switched to Premium membership to enable consolidation, but turned out the min charge is $38 again, thus I had to pay
$16 for the 2nd package, and discarded the 3rd package since its value is much less than another $16. It was an awful experience!

We do apologize for any misunderstandings with our service. Consolidation can be done as long as you have a Premium membership with any carrier as long as the shipment follows the carriers restrictions.

MYUS charged me most expensive shippping fee then use cheapest shipping FEDEX CROSS BORDER(P2P MAIL)
After 70 days my package was lost in Nertheland it should ship to china
MYUS helped nothing and no refund!

Let down

Confused bought goods from asos and had them delivered to myus locker
Bought all items together same day same time

However the order has somehow been split into 2 shipments.?!

Whilst one shipment has 12 items with an overall total cost of $105.14. 56.17 of which is on duties and taxes and 42.99 on shipping

The separate shipment of one Northface top that i purchased on asos together with the 12 other garments is $46. 20. 19. 22 on duties and taxes 23.99 on shipping. The North face top only cost 21.45 to begin with. Why is this separate from the other 12 garments. This is daylight robbery to charge $147.66 to deliver my goods. I didn't plan on spending 138 euro on asod to spend more on having it delivered. I thought I'd be saving money

Upon contacting myus directly I got a response saying "Upon checking, it would seem that the shipment's cost was high due to the prepaid duties and taxes. Should you not wish to pay for this in advance, you may turn OFF the Prepaid duties and taxes option from your My Account Settings:"

This STILL does not answer my question as to why I'm paying 2 separate shipments duties and taxes for 1 order?

I am still to receive a response asking why this is the case directly from myus and I feel so let down as I was excited to use this service.

Your shipment lists that duties and taxes were not charged by us. The invoice in your account shows that information. We cab always provide you with the invoice from our charges.

Feel SCAMMED!

Used the shipping calculor my item Weight at 1.3 lbs which was 26 USD. Was charged 38 USD and customer service said it was the correct price. Also, by default tax duty fee is enabled which added 15 USD extra. Even though the item was worth 50 USD and tax at my country would be either zero or 5 USD. All in all, I paid 60 USD for shipping of a 50 USD item.

My original package arrived to their warehouse at 0.7lb. The final weight after they decided it needed to be repackaged was 1.02lb. They then went on to charge for 2lb because it was over 1lb. Over by 0.02lb / 9gm, the weight of 2 pieces of paper.

Told me they had to repackage it to ensure its safety since its being shipped by airmail. What? The package was originally shipped from Canada to US... Not sure how Airmail requires additional packaging but seems like a rort to charge you extra!

Nowhere does it state on their shipping calculator either that it will be rounded up for such an insignificant amount. (And in this case due to their own additional packaging!)

Despite being a first time user they default your account to Autoship. I needed the package sent via express as it is time critical for healthcare of a loved one with a terminal illness. When I raised this issue basically their response is "You should have known autoship was default" but no tutorials, no nothing on how their process works. Logically if someone hasn't used their service before, perhaps at least provide some key guides via email/pop ups when you access the site for the first time. Lack of communication and they just action something without any approval from you.

Clearly they've chosen to make it more efficient for their own benefit, so they can just quickly charge you and be done with your package.

Horrible horrible experience and will never use them again. A company that doesn't put customer experience first will not survive nor thrive in the future, that is the reality.

Terrible service!

I had a good experience with this company in the past BUT have just been charged $70 shipping on a package worth $50 with absolutely no warning. Disputed as soon as my money was taken and was told there was nothing they could do as it was already processed. I asked where it showed this ridiculously high shipping rate as an option, as I was quoted just 17.99 on their shipping calculator.

I choose to pay customs/duty in advance and they said the shipping rate used was the only option available for if these fees were prepaid - I asked where it showed this and they couldn't give me an answer and refused to help. One customer service agent was pretty rude and cut me off. Another just kept copying generic answers, which didn't answer what I was actually asking. I will absolutely be avoiding from now on.

Awful Experience

BEWARE Charged me $85.34 US for a parcel weight of 0.60Lb added 1lb to the weight of the package and then charged me $60US more than the MYUS shipping rates advertised on their site. It's a DISGRACE no reply from them it's my first and Last time using this service. What a SCAM as a new member I'm appalled and so upset. Shipping is almost DOUBLE the cost of the goods. Account number 8455-143 I expected to pay no more than $30US. The advertised rate on their site for the weight of my parcel on my membership was less than $20US. Will CANCELLING my membership!

Calculated an estimate on shipping a. 1lb package, supposed to cost less than $20. I get charged $50. A far cry from $20. For an envelope weighing less than a pound for plastic parts. Ridiculous. Never again. Buyer beware

Highway robbery

Be prepared for made up issues with nearly every shipment…along with charges for each of those issues. Also, a package that weighed 1.8lbs got charged as 6lbs. Person said minimum weight per item in package is 1lb…what? The package also arrived with one item missing. When I brought this up, I was told to contact the shop I purchased from. Was also told "you can request photos of your items for an additional fee". AVOID this place at all costs. There is NO WAY the positive reviews are real. I suppose companies can pay to remove negative reviews.

I just have been scammed by MyUS, they took $31 more than agreed upon (=$18)
And when I asked why they just came up with some BS VAT/duties & customs excuse although my item is not subject to those since its value is less than 22 euros not to mention that I explicitly told them that I don't want to pay those via them.

Excellent experience

So far it's been great. Only my first shipment with MyUS, but no problems whatsoever. Had a few glitches signing up initially, customer service was very prompt and helpful and my package got here well before the estimated arrival date. Was wary with some of sub-par reviews, but as with anything online you have to use your best judgement and take some of the savage criticisms with a hefty grain of salt. It was quite a bit pricier than I'd anticipated but I guess that's because of the expedited delivery. Next time may opt for the slowpoke route.
