When I requested my shipment the weight they posted was 0.8lb and when they finally shipped it out it became 1.6lb. There was no repackaging or additional stuff or anything and there was no warning or notice about this weight change. Either they purposely post the weight without packaging to make customers think they are paying less than they will or it's too light for them to make money so they hike up the weight somehow to make me pay more LOOOOL. Will not be using it again even if it's cheaper (or not Idk) I just HATE HIDDEN FEES!

I use myus to buy things in the US to be shipped via USPS to France. MyUs is pretending to propose USPS services in their website (« about us » page notably). I find out that this is a lie as USPS is not an option at least for France. The issue is that unlike USPS, other carriers go proactively to custom authorities to collect taxes and custom duties. That is not the case with USPS. I bought many things with this in mind and now I am screwed as there is no way to know that USPS is not an option until you buy something. Totally screwed
We actually do offer USPS as a service for select countries. We do have that listed on our website.

I had to contact Darazel because the packaging dept had not correctly issued the customs value request form. The request form had asked me to fill out values of nine items instead of ten items. Darazel assured me not to worry and the issue will be corrected. Kind and pleasant conversation

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time. I hope someone from MyUS will respond to your question and give you a more satisfying answer. All the best.
