The website can be very confusing for 1st time users, and one wrong move can have huge consequences. They do not explain this to users nor communicate tips to not end up spending a fortune. I had items in my suite, did not want to ship them but somehow they were shipped via DHL, right after I found out that DHL picked up my items, I reached out to myUS customer service. They literally refused to help me and continued to blame me even though I explained that I am a first-time user and that I genuinely don't understand what went wrong. At this point the solution would have been simple-just retrieve the items from DHL. As I said they refused to do this or offer any solutions, so then of course things only got worse because the item was shipped a few days later, I had paid $50 shipping for items that cost me $20, and then my country + extra DHL fees were trying to charge me another $110. I reached out to MyUS again demanding that they find a solution and take the items back, they said they would do it but I would have to pay the return fees. So their solution was literally that I spend even more money on a service and items that I did not, and will not receive. Just awful. Now I have lost $20 (item price), +$50 (shipping), a total of $70 so far and got nothing out of it except for a huge headache and a lot of wasted time speaking to their customer service. I still have other items on hold in my suite and of course they are refusing to help return those either.
Be careful using this company! They are a scam and will literally charge you insane made up amounts such as 30.00 extra to ship perfume as they are "dangerous" goods. Customer service does absolutely nothing for you except tell to you that if you dont ship it they will charge you to return it to sender. Worst company use another service. Trust me, its fine until its not and you will be stuck with awful charges.
Dangerous goods are items that are considered to be flammable. Items like those cannot ship in passenger planes and have to be sent in cargo planes. These shipments also have to be shipped in specialized boxes which have a fee. We do apologize for any fee you did not anticipate. We can always provide a detailed estimate through our customer service team for items that may have additional fees.
I have been using their services for a while but recently I'm having more and more issues with them and quality of services is becoming very poor.
They keep mixing up the suite numbers for packages and when you try resolving any issues it is a nightmare to get in touch with them as it has to be done through online chat and when you do get through they will simply deny any responsibility and find unreasonable excuses.
I will not rely on them for more than letters or items valued less than $50.

MyUS is a scam! They want to charge an exorbitant amount to ship a package within the US. They also want to charge me sales tax on top of the sales tax that I paid when I purchased the item from Amazon! I am sorry that I EVER tried this site. A waste of over $60 just for me to still not get ANYTHING that I ordered! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
If we ship a package domestically we are required to charge Florida sales tax. If you were charges tax by the merchant you can always provide them with our tax free document. The merchant will then refund you that charge. Please note that customs may also charge for duties and taxes. We have no control over tax charges.
This site is basically a SCAM for buyers in the UK. The base membership add import and duties to everything these people process. The UK pretty much allows everything to be imported if it is less than £39. These people trawl the internet to find a product they can match to the one they are processing to add unnecessary fees to everything. My package worth less than 30 dollars, has been charged £70 import and shipping fees when it shouldn't have been charged anything at all. The customer service feels like an Indian Call Centre response, get you away ASAP. It's not worth it and will not be using them ever again. Shocking!
Please note that the value of the items and the shipping cost are all factored in the total cost for customs. We follow regulations provided to us by the UK.
In short, they advertised 3 times cheaper service and the shipping options, but, unfortunately, I was forced to pay 3 times more than other shipping services. How it went? They lied on me before they got my package, which I pirchased used wristwatch from UK. Before they got my package, they offered me 20$ shipping service which was SMSA. After recieving my package they gave me only one option. Which costed me around 55$. I requested them to return the package to the sender, the reason was they were giving me expensive shipping service. They asked me to pay 53$ to return to the sender who was located in UK itself as MyUS suit in UK. Worst liars. They didn't even clear the customs, which costed me more 15$, in total of 70$ of my money just for the shipment, while the real value of the package was only 120$ and the weight of the package was 900mgs.

The worst liar company to try. Do not make a mistake that I made.
We do apologize that our service has been unsatisfactory. Our UK facility does only offer one option at this time. We can always return a shipment with a prepaid label from the merchant which only has a fee of $7. If the merchant is unable to provide a return label then we would be required to use our domestic option which is DHL.
Over promise and underperformed. Avoid this firm like the plague! Offered on thing and never did it.

Constantly they would overvalue my purchases for customs, even when I have sent appropriate invoice information. Everything is two or three messages to correct. The last item before I closed my account, they charged me 160 us dollars to ship 32 pound single item to Canada. Now it is taking me just as many messages to close my account!. For Canadians... stay far away... or you will be very disappointed, to say the least.

Please do NOT use this service unless you want to get ridiculous charges on your account. I initially paid $190 for an order I placed on Walmart for some small home furnishing goods to forward to my address in Toronto, Canada. I was willing and expecting to pay about 250 to ship it (150 was what they estimated). My order ended up getting split into multiple shipments, the first of which I paid 160 to ship to me. Fedex never left a door tag when they attempted delivery and so I missed the shipment and it got returned to sender. Well for that they charged me 360 US. With the costs of the second order, I have now spent over 700 just to forward my original order to me and I have yet to receive any of it. Would stay far away from this company.

Very Interesting, after more than five years of working smoothly with Shipito, I tried to change the provider to MyUS. I did register but my account has been manually rejected for no reason. I wonder if maybe my Muslim name looks suspicious so that I am most likely subjected to bombing the account :), ridiculous.
The reasons for being declined have multiple factors involved. We proudly ship hundreds of thousands of packages to the middle east.
They close my account with +200 item and more than *******$ value.
I m using this company since long time. I purchasing goods from USA and ship them to my suite in myus.com then create a shipping request to ship my goods to my address in Dubai, UAE, but about 2 weeks ago they ban my account and prevent access to my account.
I purchased the goods from bitoff.io (p2p platform for but item with crypto and discount) and purse.io from diffrient earners from amazon and ebay, the packages arrived to my suite and I created ship request to ship to my address in Dubai, UAE, without any reason myus.com canceled the shipping request and marked the packages " EXPORT DECLINED" I contacted them via chat and mail what is the problem then after about 3 days sent me email either to return packages to a seller or discard the packages?! I tried to contact but with no help. To avoid lose my money I started contacting the sellers to return the packages some of sellers (5%) accepted a return and asked myus.com to return but some sellers (about 95$) not accepted because there is no reasonable reason for a return and also i have not direct contact to amazon and ebay selllers because i use bitoff and purse.
I asked them to ship to a domestic address in US. but they replied with carelessness they cannot ship only to return the packages to the sellers or discard the packages?
Really you easily discard package of your customer?
What about my packages and my money?...

I used a couple time this companie for shipping from us to brasil this companies is very expensive and never i get before a information invoice how is the cost i paid for a 14oz glass cup 65 $ and also he scam the companie with the tax amount unter 50 $ is no tax and sometime ipaid a high tax for a item for 7.50 and also the shipping cost is very high horrible i dont use this companie never more is more other companies on the market much lwss cost

They mailed my package using FedEx. The package got lost midway. They washed their hands off and told me I have to deal with it myself. Took no initiative, or accountability to help with the issue. They will just take your money and do the bare minimum. I would not recommend them all, as if you end up in a situation like me when the courier loses your package. You're left on your own.
They are responsible for the packaging, addressing, and arranging of the shipment, yet when there is an issue they take no responsibility.

I signed up for this a year ago as I needed to ship something from the USA. I completely forgot about the service until I checked my credit card and noticed that they had billed me for another year with no prior warning. Legally, they have to inform customers of upcoming subscription charges and give customer the option to cancel. I contacted their customer service, who were no help at all. I won't be using this service again and I will be contacting my credit card so their legal department can contest the charge on my behalf. I will also complain to the relevant regulators of their business for failing to comply with consumer laws. I won't be using this company again, they are another one that tried to scam customers by the subscription service without warning.

I want to make a complaint about the additional cost added to my shipment and how it was handled as a first time user. I was charged $40 (an additional $15 based on your estimator). Also as a first time user I did not know I would be automatically charged insurance and a fee for a sticker to show there was a battery inside the item (tablet). This was not mentioned at all when I used the estimator and would have changed my decision to use myus if I had been made aware of these cost from the beginning. Also I could not see the item in my account online and have was told that the item has already been shipped before I made payment. The credit card I have on my account was a debit card and I had expected to see the item in my account before I would make payment. I contacted the CS team and they told me all the charges are automatically added and the shipment had already sent even before I had made payment.
As a first time user I am very disappointed at how this transaction was handled and the lack of information for first time users concerning additional charges which is not mentioned in the estimator at all. I had created the account some time ago but this was the first time I actually used it to make a delivery and the experience was bad (hidden charges, shipment sent before payment and no visibility of the shipment in the account).
When signing up our service does provide an email with information on how our service works. Please note that if you sign up for our Single Package membership it does state that this membership only provides automatic shipping. I will NEVER use this company ever again! Be warned they overcharge for postage costs, I cannot believe it cost me $111 to get a small box of supplements sent to NZ! They don't even care and won't offer to refund me just told me to cancel my shipment order. Then tried telling me that the postage was the cheapest one they had! BS! I can only hope now my order turns up :(

I had one package which weighed only 3lb. MyUs billed me £85.79 to ship my package to the United Kingdom. When I queried the exorbitant charge, I was told that It was due to currency conversion! Currency conversion costs only a couple of pounds sterling. How can MyUs bill me £85.79 for a 3lb package and then have the nerve to blame currency conversion? I see from this forum I am not the only one to get scammed by MyUs. They have lost another customer. I have found an alternative shipping company whose shipping rates are very reasonable and who will not scam me as MyUs did.

I cancelled my membership on their website and received confirmation saying "Please allow up to 48 hours for your request to be processed."
Weeks later, I was charged 9.99 USD and wondered why until I found an email saying the account has been left open until I respond to it.
I asked for the account to be closed and to be refunded and was sent ANOTHER email asking if I want to close the account.
I have just confirmed and am now waiting for account closure again and a refund. I just think this is very sneaky and terrible business practice.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
