I was properly attended to by Julie on issues of the items despite my mistake & persistence changing value of another item on one she still politely address me with respect why it is not the item i mentioned. I have never see this type of response from MyUS.

Horrible customer service. When I wanted to have my package sent to me I had to change my credit card information on their website. Easy right? Nope. It had taken me 2 weeks to try and have it changed. They kept having to charge my credit card and I had to confirm the amount that was charged so that they could validate it. Here's the problem, the longer my packaged had stayed at their location they had a fee placed on it. Every time they charged my card I would enter the amount on the website and it would decline it. I had to do it multiple times! Another problem was that when they charged my card it would take 2 days to go through so I would have to wait to actually see the amount charged. Finally I received an email saying that there was a fee for having my package at their facility so I called and tried to speak with an employee. When she had confirmed my credit card I had asked to speak to a manager and she said they were all in a meeting but would send an email regarding my case. I asked when I would be able to hear from one about the case and she had said, I wouldn't and that I'd have to wait. My card will still be charged the fee and if its gets lifted then that would mean it would go through. I waited and today I received an email from Patricia which had said that I wouldn't be refunded the fee charge. I'm very frustrated and unfortunately I will not use this service in the future. Its too bad because I really enjoyed the idea of this service but I'm sure I can find another company that has better customer service.

These people are awesome. From their customer support to those handling my shipments. Their quick and professional. When my payment hit a snag, lo and behold, they still shipped my package and received it just as my payment went through! Thanks MyUS! Expect more to come. Just taught my wife how to use it. I had my doubts at first. It is not easy to sent your package to a foreign address. I thought I was gabbling, but no, its not a gamble when you get to know you are going to be winning each time. The monthly rates are the best and unbelievably low. I have made four shipments and all of them have been successful and thought of giving my review and let others know of my experience.
I am in the southern part of Africa and they have made my dream come true by consolidating my packages.

I have a long relation with my US.com, i never had any problems. They are really well cooperative till i had that one problem that was due to some circumstances out of my hand and they tried to helped me.
Most of their agents are really kind such as Kristen and especially Teresa who was very kind and she is the role model of how customer service agent should be.
Despite the really bad experience i had with Agent Donna, Agent Teresa fixed it all.

I have been with another company for shipping, but myus.com it is way different, good prices and costumer service, especially the live chat, it's really helpful (special thanks for teresa in live chat.)
Website was extremely confusing to both request service and to direct the packages to be mailed to me. And I could not find what the actual charges would be. The package did get here (western Canada) very quickly from southern US. However, it was sent UPS which charged me an extra handling fee of $35. Overall this was a costly experience and not worth it for the items purchased.
TruePrice Program increased the basic freight rate by 30%. It's ripoff through good marketing name.
I waited until the program end but it was extended suddenly with no choice.

Well done My Us on providing TruePricing, we purchased majority of our christmas presents from the US and the fact that our shipping was charged at the price we were quoted and only for the actual weight of the parcels, made all the difference. No worrying about shipping charges being at a higher rate than quoted. We certainly hope that TruePricing is here to stay. Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time. I hope someone from MyUS will respond to your question and give you a more satisfying answer. All the best.
