I just had a helpful conversation with Kristen. Until this time, whenever I was having a chat session with a MyUS staff, it was like talking to a robot without getting the actual answers.
Im in kuwait so i had trouble contacting fedex for local shipment being lost or not shipped
Myus contact them and located the shipment and gave me in details what happened when my shipment status on fedex stated delivered when my recipient said he didn't receive anyhting

Had several inquiries and an issue regarding my packages. But don't get me wrong, this is my first time using this kind of service and i'm on the opposite side of the globe from where MyUS is so its highly likely to kind of worry about the items you bought online and send to MyUS. However, with the help of the 2 ladies mentioned on the title, all inquiries and my recent issue was resolved very quickly. I gotta admit, they kinda chat like robots, but hey, they get the job done accurately and quickly. A thumbs up for MyUS in this department. I'll probably update this review when i get to send and receive my packages. But so far, they are awesome!

I just log in to the chat as i wanted my item to ship out as soon as possible as one of the item was still waiting for receipt verification. And as i was still typing to explain The very nice Agent Teresa have already send me a message about what i was gonna ask and i have to erase all my type words. Great customer Service. I would like to recommend anyone willing to open an account at MYUS to think twice and shop around. I had my account opened since 3 years and bought a few things on the first year with a paid membership. However, on the second year, as I did not planned to send any package, I left a request on their contact form that I did not want to renew the membership. However on the 3rd year they continued to charge me explaining that they did not receive my request.
About 2-3 wks after they charged me, I recontacted them and told them that I did not wished to renew and I already contacted them last year. They denied and said that they would not refund me for the recent payment yearly passed although I wished to go for a free account.
I have never had such experience where they charge you for not doing anything and wont refund you back even if you dont want to continue.
Bear with me, I will not do advertising for other freight forwarders but just shop around. And you'll be surprised of the international coverage of the competitors, the level of service and low prices that do not lock you.
MYUS has a poor management policy.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time. I hope someone from MyUS will respond to your question and give you a more satisfying answer. All the best.
