I am an expat living in Mexico. Before using MYUS, I reached out prior to shipping and I was ASSURED by your customer service that it would not be a problem. So I proceeded. INTERESTINGLY, MYUS has the ABILITY to SHIP to Mexico, but NOT ANY ABILITY AT ALL to get the package past CUSTOMS.
THIS IS THE MAIN PART OF THE PROCESS. So instead of RECEIVING my package, I was getting emails in Spanish from DHL, asking when I would come with the proper importer documents and certification to take my items past customs.
How on Earth can MYUS have a service that ships to foreign countries but does NOTHING to get the package to its destination?
I wasted around $250 on items plus MYUS' SHIPPING FEES ($118.94 to be exact) in order to ATTEMPT to get a package here. What happened? I had the DHL people DESTROY my package. Because the cost of sending it back and then figuring out what to do after that was RIDICULOUS.
Also I was told that the insurance I purchased did NOT cover this type of event, so MYUS made a bunch of money off my mistake. I stupidly tried the service after seeing loads of complaints and bad reviews - what a mistake. Now I'm with them, leaving as many reviews and comments as I can to warn other people not to try your business. I hope MYUS goes out of business so no more people have to lose money from their ridiculous scheme.
I can`t believe the state of Florida allows such business to operate in its state. I think I`m going to file something legal with them like a class action suit for how they mislead people. Where do I begin with their shadey practices. So I sign up and have a parcel delivered to them. After giving me inflated shipping like 3X normal shipping cost to deliver it to my residence the package gets lost and they can offer no reasons or excuses. Been an ongoing battle ever since. So I went to visit their Facebook site and their facility is full to the roof with unclaimed merchandise. Now I understand how their scam works. You end up not seeing your package and they keep to resale it as a "surprise box" Wow this company is pure evil. How do people that work there sleep at night. Do they have a conscience? Hope the have an answer to their God for their actions. He sees everthing.
We do apologize if our service has been unsatisfactory. In the case of a lost shipment or package we can always reimburse you as long as insurance is purchased. We do not sell items so we would be unsure of a surprise box.
Not only do I get the products I need, I also get resolutions when products are not as expected. Very happy customer and will be a longstanding client!

Horrible, horrible pricing scam. Marketed as no hidden cost, refused to consolidate 2 of my package that arrived the same day from the same shipper because I was not subscribed to their "PREMIUM" service tiers. They also knowingly charged me TWICE for 2 separate packages for the "Single outbound Shipment" option despite that.
Charged me EXTRA for "Single outbound Shipment" and "Urgent Handling" as they say but did not ship the packages today nor did they ship it in one shipment. They even misdeclared the value of my items until I caught up to that, I wouldn't be able to claim for the full amount if the shipment had gone missing!
When confronted, said "This info is on our website FAQs and blog". Like HELLO? It should be written in CAPS on your WEBPAGE where people are using your services. Intentionally hidden clauses and complicated terms by design on their service page is to confuse you on purpose. If I could rate them 0, I would.
All of our fees and prices are listed on our website. When using our search bar you can even search for specific information. We do apologize for any misunderstanding as membership inforamtion regarding how they work is listed when signing up on the page prior to signing up to our service. We can always answer any question you have regarding how our service works before signing up as well.

I had not realised you had to be a premium member to consolidate packages and Breanah was very helpful in cancelling the shipment and changing my account to premium otherwise I would have had to pay shipping twice.

As A Maldivian Most of the US Sellers Don't ship to Out Country, But with MyUS I get to purchase from various US stores. The Process Wass So Smooth Package Came even before the arrival date.

These little people are focused on pumping money out of you as much as possible. Avoid them and use any other shipping forwarder or prep center. It will cost several times cheaper. I have never met such impudence. Even all newcomers to the market offer lower shipping prices.

The other reviews were right. There are A LOT OF HIDDEN FEES and it is NOT FREE UNLIMITED CONSOLIDATION.
It claimed to be free unlimited consolidation and that's the reason I chose to use them BUT NO! LIES! I'M TELLING YOU THEY CHARGE A LOT FO HIDDEN FEE ON THIS AND NOT UNLIMITED!
1. Hidden fee - Item Processing Fee which they never mentioned on the either FAQ page or Shipping calculator page. Claimed it FREE package consolidation but in fact they are charging Item Processing Fee. THEY ADMITTED THEY NEVER MENTIONED THIS ON THEIR WEBSITE! But they refused to deduct them!
2. NOT UNLIMITED CONSOLIDATION! There's max 50 pieces of package consolidation as it claimed to be free unlimited on their website.
I knew I had a lot of packages since day 1, so I did went through their website to look for all the information and fees and also contacted their customer service asked about consolidation before I used their company. No information or anyone mentioned there would be an Item Processing Fee or 50 max pieces UNTIL I WAS ON THE "CREATE SHIPMENT" PAGE WHICH IS A PAGE I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET TO UNTIL I SHIPPED MY PACKAGES TO THEIR WAREHOUSE. (UNTIL YOU FELL INTO THEIR TRAP AND GOT NO OTHER CHOICE)
THIS IS TOTALLY A SCAM! Just realized many people complained talked about the hidden fees and no unlimited consolation on Trustpilot! I wish I read the reviews earlier before I fell into their trap!
I've been using for MYUS for quite some time and never had any issues except for this once and was attended by Jason on the live chat only to find out that my merchant did not put the complete address on the package.

MyUS lost then found a package for me. There was an issue with the shipping MyUS then wanted to charge me. Breanah sorted this for me. Her first response was "Please allow me a few moments to see what has occurred and What I can do to make this right." She then sorted it for me in minutes. Amazing service - thanks very much MyUS!

They round up (never down, of course) the weight of the parcel so you have to pay more to have it shipped, and they don't do this rounding in the shipping rate calculator.
Customer support literal words: "For you question, if in any case the weight of the package is 1.4lbs, the system will still automatically round it up."
This can mean not much less than a 50% increase in the shipping price for packages that are not very big, and you can only see this when you already have the package in the suite and you create a ship request to your country.
Meanwhile, the shipping rate calculator they offer will show you the shipping price without the rounding. Even when you already have the package in the suite, the shipping price is normal until you click in "create ship request" and that's when your package stops weighing 2.4 lb, weights now 3 lb, and you have to pay 20 dollars more.
They excuse themselves saying that the shipping rate calculator is an approximation, when what the only thing that is different between the calculator and the final price, is that they don't round up the weight in the calculator. The rounding is only done in the final step of the shipping so that way you don't back down.
And forget about paying taxes upfront. If you want that (you can select that option), the price you will have to pay is abnormally high (more than the customs taxes and duties of your country), and if you ask the customer support, they don't know where that price comes from or how it was calculated.
You only know the real price when what you bought is already in your suite and ready to be shipped to your country.
The ship rate calculator would also round the weight up when showing you the estimated cost. Please note that our carriers round the weight up which is why we also charge in that same fashion. Our estimates do reflect what is typically charged. We do apologize for any misunderstanding.
53 DAYS WAITING FOR MY PACKAGE FROM THE US TO SPAIN. Noone takes responsability on this. I paid for my items, shipping, prepaid taxes and insurance.
The package was supposed to arrive in 10 days, today April 20th 2021 my package has not been delivered. Last tracking update was March 19 2021. Package left their facilities on February 26,2021. Please be aware of this because customer service will not HELP YOU AT ALL! NOT EVEN if you paid for insurance.
We do apologize that our service has been unsatisfactory. Unfortunately the carrier that was used does not provide frequent tracking. If insurance is purchased then a claim can be filed after the shipment is in transit for 45 days.
MyUS is a complete disaster with customer service and I highly recommend you avoid them at all costs! I've used numerous competitors over the years and have never had issues like this. The first time I had an issue with a shipment via FedEX I tried working with FedEx directly. The tracking number showed that I had signed for it when in fact I never did and the package went missing. They confirmed that the package was not signed for and that I had a valid claim BUT that I would need to go via the US and my freight forwarder MyUS. They sent all the file to FedEx in the US awaiting further action by MyUS. I opened 3 tickets with them and each time they simply closed the case stating "package was delivered and signed for". The entire text of the case I sent them explained in detail that this was in error and that FedEx approved my claim and all they needed to do was follow up with FedEx USA. Nothing. Nada. No response.
Then I tried to cancel my account following the procedure on their website as I moved to an alternate service. I received an email response stating that they would like to resolve any issues and would leave my account open until doing so. I wrote back several times explaining I want my account closed and there is no further option due to their failure to support me with the problem package and consistent issues with customer service. No response. And yet they keep charging me a monthly fee and I am unable to cancel! I follow the procedure again on the website, and again get a response to resolve the issues. Complete circular nonsense to keep charging me.
I had no choice but to cancel the credit card and file a complaint with the BBB. I've also requested chargebacks from my credit card company. The FedEx claim remains open but likely a writeoff and lost money for me as they won't help or do anything about it.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time. I hope someone from MyUS will respond to your question and give you a more satisfying answer. All the best.
