There are always issues and nasty surprises when using MyUS.com's services. When they make errors, which is often, they don't take responsibility. If they omit sending a product in your shipment in error, they misrepresent and obfuscate the facts so that you have to ship your omitted item at your own cost (two shipments = you pay double). They packed a few dietary supplements in a huge box and caused increased cost of shipping. They have charged me storage for items which they say are overdue to be shipped, which they omitted to send in the shipment. They use incorrect export tariff codes on invoices for customs which causes a total nightmare for clearance and adds weeks onto the arrival of the parcel. When you email support and request assistance, they make your life really difficult and it seems they intentionally send you "round the houses" to attempt to wear you down so you can get tired of the continuous uphill battle they strategically employ. I have a mysterious charge which has been debited off my card for "correction of address" which has never been cleared with me and I have no idea what it is for. I would avoid at all costs and find an alternative service which has decent ratings. They have their own customer complaint channel but ignore everything that customers say.

We do apologize that our service has been unsatisfactory. In some cases a package may be removed from a ship request due to an issue with the package. These are always placed back into the account. We can always provide a credit for the difference in shipping. As for export codes we can always edit them if they appear to be incorrect. As for the address correction fee, that is charged when a package arrives with parts of the address missing on the label.

Buyer beware.

I paid for express handling and priority 1-3 day delivery on an urgent shipment, and also pre-paid duty and clearance charges.

MyUS charged me for a 25lbs package that only weighed 7.8lbs, and the company also neglected to include the customs documentation I had provided with the shipment, so delivery was delayed by over a week.

When I raised the foregoing issues with their customer support team, which can only be reached by email or chat, I was promised a response from management within 24 hours, but still have not received one in over 7 days.

When the package was finally delivered, the carrier had no record of the duties being pre-paid, so I was required to pay again in order to receive the package.

I requested a refund of the pre-paid duties from MyUS.com. They credited the amount to my account, and not to the original payment method on file, which did me no good because I will not be shipping with this company again. I then had to ask them to refund the overpaid duties to my credit card on file, which they did, less a 5% transaction fee, despite the issues being their mistake, and apparently signed me up for a membership without my consent.

I then opened the box, only to find that the package in the box that was delivered belonged to someone else entirely and were not the goods I ordered.

Cheaters, liers, scam artists, Robbed few thousand dollars packages. Never believed some of Americans can be such big liers. Don't blame this guy who runs this company who wants to steal, steal and steal, Rip off artist, Planning to file a police case and legal case against these scam artists.

What a complete joke this company is. I used their service to ship a hat I purchased from a US company that didn't ship to Canada. The product was made in the US so shouldn't have been charged duty fees but they failed to state such which resulted in a $175 shipping cost to get my 2lb package to Canada which only $80 of went to actual shipping costs and taxes.

When I contacted their useless customer service agent over Whatsapp, they tried to tell me that the charges were to "facilitate smoot shipping", whatever that means. They couldn't provide me a breakdown of what those fees were but they were more than the cost of the shipping and taxes combined.

Long story short, avoid this site, there are plenty of other options for this service online and I highly suggest using a different one.

Duties and taxes are charged upon delivery when shipping to Canada. We do not have a tax free address for Canada. All shipments go through Canadian customs.

Charged me double what I agreed to. I have proof of this. Still they refused to correct and making it tricky to chargeback. Add to that four items sent to them were unaccounted for (read lost or stolen). They simply didn't respond to emails querying this. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Hidden charges hundreds of dollars, they open the packages and hold ransom for exhorbitant delivery charges.

Shocking Customer Service

I used the UK MyUS service, the package was turned around en-route due to the fact it contained 2 devices containing lithium ion batteries which it clearly says is allowed on their website. Customer service after that has been shockingly poor, it appears that my package has been lost on return to the UK depot, the package contains $1.5k+ of goods so obviously I would like them to investigate but they are unwilling to do anything apart from make me wait longer for the UK guys who possibly will answer an email (the package was sent nearly a month ago.
Chances are that your package will be delivered and you will have a good experience but just be aware if something goes wrong, they have 0 interest in resolving the issue.

So apparently, the enormous invoice I received from MyUS wasn't the end of it. A month later I receive FedEx's separate invoice for Canadian taxes. Not only is there a lack of information and way too much effort and paperwork, the total amount is a ludicrous amount to pay for the shipment. Unless the item you purchased is much more valuable than its weight (ex. A ring), don't ship to Canada via MyUS -NOT WORTH IT! Interestingly, I did send feedback to MyUS about this, in a polite email, and received a curt generic reply -they don't care.

Their own calculator says $95 for 7.6kg to Kuwait by budget shipping + 20% discount ($ 76). Actual billing $119. Great is it not. Dont get defrauded. Customer service- sorry the budget option is not available for Kuwait. So why put in their website wrong ones and charge you more. Could have sent on private jet and charged you. Did they inform that the estimate is revised. No - you get charged.

Promise discount, no Discount, Choose an expensive package, wrong valuation, more customs, NEVER EVER use these guys. I waited and waited for hours to get an issue fixed, but no one was there. The 20% discount that they offer for the first month is only when you choose expensive shipping DHL Etc and not SMSA and if you choose an expensive package you pay higher customs. How funny. The invoice says what I have paid, but the valuation is more. This means again I pay more customs. I just wanted to finish my first deal and close it for ever, but system did not allow me to do that either and I get a message "We are sorry, an error has occurred. Please wait a few moments and try again. Please contact Customer Service on our Contact Us page if you experience this issue again." I have waited for 48 hours before i decided to put it here. No offer of help. I waited on their whatsapp for 1+ hour. No response. Sickening experience. NEVER AGAIN. I have proof of purchase and I can share it as a PDF and not what you want.

This service is indeed a fraud. Just as I was done with one hidden cost. Another one comes in at the carrier they use as soon as it lands in my country. When contacted, my very helpful support agent Lora confirms that, indeed, they are committing to their marketing fraud on no hidden costs. It is a tax free item and their carrier charge me for the same amount of hidden fees as it took to ship it. Literally doubling the shipping cost. Do not be deceived by the low cost in their webpage. It means no hidden cost on our side, but our carrier will charge you for the amount you are owed after using our service.

Now I am expecting 2 times the shipping cost for all the other items I have send through them. Should not have used this service.

Unfortunately we have no control over our carriers fees as they only send our shipments. The costs we include are ones we directly charge. Most countries do charges for duties and taxes which are charged upon delivery.

On there website they showing that they can ship any item out of USA, sadly it's wrong which i found out
The hard way, i bought 4 items from eBay in an auction, which 3 out of 4 been delivered and the last item it been hold and they asked my if i wish to send it back to the seller or asked them to throw it away ( for item cost me more than 3000 usd) when i talked them why 3 been sent to me and the last one was on hold, i got answer that it was by mistake and the seller must have EIN code so they can send it to me (( which not my business because on the web site nothing about EIN)) after more than a month with email between then lucky i found out that my friend traveling to my city, so i asked them to ship it to him, also i have to pay 7% tax + shipping, after all this i felt been cheated by false advertising and mis guide it website, therefore i'm taking my business somewhere else.

We're currently living in NZ but based in US. Have used their services for approx. 3 years and in fairness they have been decent until lately which is why a 3 or perhaps even 4 star rating is now 1-star.
We've generally shipped 2-3 items each month of varying value and weight from US to NZ. There have been some occasional problems and their service support is generally pretty good so they were fixed with not too much time or effort. So far so good.
However a few months ago we began purchasing dozens of parts to repair a wrecked US-model Harley and ship them to NZ. Some were quite heavy like gas tank and fenders, etc that's when we noticed the shipping costs were skyrocketing. Couldn't understand it.
Then we noticed the weights being listed by MyUS.com were heavier, in some cases around a pound more. Doesn't seem like much but when you have 20+ items a little here and there add up.
My advice is to compare the weight that Fedex/UPS lists in the package detail to the weight MyUS.co. Shows (this is how we confirmed our suspicions)
Anyways, we called them out on a couple and now 8 days later they are still in "review". It feels retaliatory since they usually re-weigh in 1-2 days tops. (hence the review). Anyone else seen this? Maybe there are enough of us to take this further. Certainly my next step is the FTC to see if anyone else has seen this from them before. I checked and noted they are a private company - so they aren't bound to show what aspects of their business draw the most revenue but napkin match says $25 monthly fee won't blow the doors off. FWIW i hope they do something stupid, it'll make the case easier and we plan to leave once our shipments arrive. I want to work with an honest and reputable company. I've included pictures of the items rec'd into myus.com as well as the Fedex/UPS weights. Once item is a tiny piece of plastic less than 1 square inch, it doesn't tip the scale but they say it's 0.9lb!

The weight of items is based on the items weight, the package itself, and any packing material. Our service has always gone by the total weight of the package as is when it arrives. If you believe a weight is incorrect then we can always reweigh the package and verify that. We can even provide photos of the package on a scale so that you can see that information.
