I AM WARNING YOU, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

I had flights booked for the 29/03 2019 which were cancelled and I'm still waiting for my refund over a year later! They owe my little under £700 and I've had to be the one out of pocket this whole time.

I've spoken to multiple members of their incompetent 'customer service team' who won't be able to give you any useful or reassuring information about where your refund is or what their process is to get your refund back to you. On one occasion I asked to speak with a manager and the individual told me that they weren't available but later on in our conversation said 'let me check with my manager'! They will lie through their teeth and they'll be as vague as possible whilst you're wasting more of your money speaking to them on the phone.

On more than three occasions I was told that I would get frequent updates on the status of my refund and to this day I don't think I've had any communication with this company if I've not initiated it. The email replies I've received have all been basically formatted and I've had hardly any human to human correspondence.

I believe that this company will do anything to not refund you your money and that they sit there hoping and praying that you'll suddenly forget that they owe you money! Oh and watch out because they'll try to tell you that they won't refund the full amount that you paid either and they won't offer any compensation for any other rearrangements, new transport or for the stress.

I will be leaving this review on every platform I can find so that more innocent people don't fall into their trap.

I booked a trip to Orlando with Swiss back with Air Canada via mytrip. Unfortunately my maiden name was entered. Now I want to change my name on the booking. Although mytrip in their terms and conditions 3.5. Indicates to make a name change, if the respective airlines allow this (Swiss and Canada Air allow it) mytrip refuses to change the name and informs me that I have mine Cancel booking without receiving a refund. The matter will probably land with the lawyer. Never book again with mytrip!

I hope with my actual flight everything will go well as I am already worried after reading all the bad reviews.

What really disappoints me, is that the actual price shown on the website hasnt been the one which got charged in the end. Their has been an additonal 8$ charged for credit card which hasnt been shown before purchase.

Also the fact that they overwhelm you with so many options during booking process through additional costs as food & seat decision, insurances and also it costs if you decide to let them send you flight details via SMS. Its a joke and in the end its very likely that you have to pay the same price as whom you would have, if booked directly with the airline.

Cant recommend.
Mytrip should show all costs before purchase

We paid for first class flight tickets to MyTrip (very special occasion). MyTrip took payment for the tickets but they booked Economy Class for us. When we received Check-in email from the airlines one day before the flight and noticed the mistake, we contacted MyTrip support line. They promised to fix it but they did nothing. The airlines advised us that noone contacted them. So MyTrip took payment for first class tickets but we actually had to fly economy...
Unfortunately, there is more... We booked flight+hotel package. The hotel price was promised by MyTrip to be a certain amount and we supposed to pay at the hotel on our arrival. The hotel advised us that the price is actually DOUBLE and they never promised a lower price to anyone. We showed them booking confirmaiton from MyTrip with the price on it. It was worth nothing. We would pay much less booking via hotel's website.
Now, we cannot contact MyTrip to get refunded for the flights and hotel over-payment.
Absolutely unbelievable they still operate!

Avoid them by any means! If tickets are cancelled or changed no obligated refund and no lawful help to reebook.

Rootcause that lot of people are falling to Mytrip.com trap is because their services are offered through Skyscanner, eDreams, Momondo and others.

These sites should stop promoting Scam mytrip.com offers. Otherwise they are also are acomplishes in daily mytrip.com crimely activitivies.

Booking number: LLMXQI

I booked three tickets using this companys website. All the way while making the payment they kept telling me that they are going to charge me a price of 1539 pounds (including taxes and discount), however once I submitted the bank card details and checked my account following the payment they charged me 1567 pounds. While this is a marginal payment differrence they didnt inform me at any stage that they are going to charge me extra 29 pounds. They just took this extra money out of account as soon as i submitted the payment button, without notifying their intent to do so.

FRAUD, be aware.

4) call Centre totally incompetent - I had to search for my own flights while speaking to them!
5) almost impossible to change flights - don't give you options just say there are no flights

I will actively tell people not to use your site.

The worst company!

Any residents around the San Jose CA area please join me at court if you have had bad experience as well, lets make our voices heard! I highly discourage buying tickets through this company, they are liars, burglars, and a big scam. They have no customer service, the phone number listed by their company is fake. My mother's flight takes off in SJ to LAX then the final stop is in Armenia. But, my mother was late to her local flight so she then bought a new ticket to LAX where she could continue her original flight. However when she arrived to the LAX airport she was told that her original round trip ticket has been sold to someone else and she was forced to buy a ticket 2x the original price. Keep in mind my mother is an elderly women who does not speak very well English and she was forced to spend the night in the airport until her newly purchased flight was ready. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

Booked flights to Faroes islands and added extra to get My e-tickets. Now it's was only a few pound, that's not my problem. The problems are I wrote a review about the manipulative extras and got a reply from trip, this took me deeper into other people's reviews. Wow wow wow They are shocking, as is My trips replies.

They try to bully you, they did me and said I wasn't a customer. They even sent me a message saying not everyone has a bad experience. That's right, but on another review site over 50% of people reviewing have had a total nightmare. Some people have been waiting months on refunds, others can't seem to make contact. Their replies are arrogant and prideful. They need investigated, if I knew how to go about it I would start the ball rolling. It only cost me a few pounds in cash, but it's not about the money for me, it's that the more I read about them, the more recasting reviews here about people being totally shafted and abused.

Booked a ROUND TRIP, bought a checked-in baggage. Paid $66 for one person. As it turned out, the sum wasn't for a round trip rather for just one way. EVEN THO I BOUGHT A ROUND TRIP TICKET. Who the hell does that? That's question #1. Question #2, who in the right mind charges $66 for 1 bag?! The most I've ever paid for was $50! International! But that wasn't it. I also purchased a Premium Support just in case and then called them to fix the mistake they told me they can't do anything. Now the question #3. Why then do you offer a "premium" support if you can't help?!
Do not recommend!

I wanted to change 3 tickets I have booked from Manaus to Sao Paulo, but when I fill the change form on their website more than 4 times, the only replies I had from them was automated replies saying that I would be contacted by a representative. I have called their US customer service, they couldn't retrieve my bookings. No answer on their Greece phone numbers. I have finally talk to a representative on their France phone number but they couldn't help me. I have called the airline directly, they told me it is only MyTrip who can make the changes. I have lost $490.10. I had to rebook the flights. Be aware.

Further to my previous review in which I shared with you that MyTrip had failed to cancel my flights on time when given two weeks notice and then failed to refund me, I am delighted to tell you that I have obtained a UK County Court order against MyTrip UK to pay the full fare and costs back to me. MyTrip Customer services have actually refunded about 28% of the debt that they have been ordered to pay and are still making silly excuses backed by inaccurate arithmetic. I am now leaving it to the Court to enforce the order.

Worst agency ever

Please avoid Mytrip. The guys from customer care don't understand the situation and keep on giving false promises. I booked a flight from Amsterdam to India and due to SAS strike I have called the Mytrip customer care and they confirmed that flight has been cancelled and to go ahead and book other flight and refund will be from airlines. On the day of travel the strike was called off and I called these guys again to confirm and they told that flight is operational and I would be be on NO SHOW. I asked them that you were the guys who told flight is cancelled and in response they say that the executive who told that was a fresher and was not aware of that. I was like WTH. When I asked for the refund they promised me saying that I would receive the cancellation refund of return ticket and calculated it as 105 GBP. Today I received a refund of 0.70 GBP ( Do you believe?). When I called this guys again they told they would get back to me in a week on this. Pathetic customer service and just looting people money. I have lost 550 GBP. Never ever opt for this fraudulent agency.

In March 2019 I had occasion to use the services of My Trip.com to book flights for Sept 2019 on receipt of my confirmation the booking were found to be incorrect after various e mails and phone calls to bring it to their attention and getting nil response I cancelled my transaction with them, however not before I had paid them £3994. 74.
I have tried in vain to make contact to enable me to recover my monies I have even utilized the services of my credit card company to help me to get reimbursed but to no avail.
The lack of response from this company is abysmal and pathetic and as a retired person with a heart condition I do not need the stress and cannot afford to be duped out of my hard-earned money.
Bearing in mind the above facts.
I would not recommend My Trip.com to any individual KEEP WELL AWAY, BUYER BEWARE.

Went through booking process then went to pay but wouldn't accept three credit cards, Then went through whole process from beginning agian and at payment said one leg was full, this is for a flight in March 2020!
Complete timewasters... lure you in with cheap flights then if you don't choose any of their multiple add ons there must be an algorithm that kicks in preventing yoy paying.

The girl I talked to didn't seem to care AT ALL about the situation. She understood English, but it was hard for her to find the right words. I would avoid to work with My Trip.

Change all my Trip itinerary making me loss connecting flights, ground transportation, etc. I attempted to contact this provider by phone, email, letter, etc to no avail neither the Airline of this provided responded. They just responded after I started to post bad reviews sending me an email advising on contacting the airline... this was 6 MONTHS LATER!. A complaint with the FAA and the Better Business Bureau was filed. TERRIBLE SERVICE

I've called mytrip.com maybe 15 times to chance a name on the ticket over the course of 2 months. They keep on saying that there is a procedure to follow, but that it will happen in a 'a few more days'. A few days before the booking and they have still not done anything about this. I have made a complaint, but this didn't make a difference. This website is a joke!

So far terrible customer service. Cant get hold of anyone. 30 minutes on hold and the disconnected. Came up as a choice on skyscanner. They should screen their vendors better.
