Don't buy from mytrip

I bought from them flight tickets that were canceled due to Corona virus in May.
I chase after them and they do not return the money.
They are crooks.

I was planning a trip for 4 days with a departure on 31/10 what was my surprise when at the airport they told me that my tickets were for November 7th. I had to pay an extra $ 200 for the exchange. I'm sure that I booked tickets for 31/10 and already in the process of paying for website date has changed, I did not check the return date in the confirmation email, I could not even imagine that, Be careful when buying tickets on this service.

Absolute SCAM and Fraud!

I booked my flight from Manchester to Guatemala 3 weeks before the departure date. I got an email from them one week beforehand saying the flight had been cancelled because "there were no seats left". I spent the total of 5 hours (!) on the phone and each and every agent disconnected the call. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM THEY ARE A SCAM!

Very Bad.

Very bad Travel Agency.

I'm thinking it's a scam!
Nearly 5 months I'm still waiting for a cancel flight refund.
All their advisers keep saying it's not going to take more than 24 hours!

They haven't even send the refund request to the Airline. (Even though they give me reference!)

I'm helpless of what to do!

DO NOT USE THEM! Was waiting over 6 months for my refund. Called over 26 times and still is not resolved. Customer service strap are so unhelpful. Couldn't even give me an email address to email and they are rude. Each refund I has been wrong and now they want to charge me an admin fee!

Joke of a company! Do not use them!

SUCK!
SUCK! When you book a ticket, you have the OBLIGATION to inform you about the current travel conditions! I spent 700 euros for
A flight with a stopover in the USA AND I HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED about the current one
Regulations. Non-refundable passenger flight result. SHAME ON YOU! And don't take the virus as a scapegoat!

Easy enough to book but awful at customer service. Failed to notify of a flight cancellation and then drag their heals over a refund. Customer services and complaints ignore issues and lie.

Please do not use mytrip for any travel needs. My mother in law booked a flight and payed for a additional checked luggage, however the airline stated no extra luggage was purchased. Mytrip also tried charging her card with unauthorized charges, and thankfully resulting in her credit card company putting a freeze to the card.

Please people just book directly with the airline company or use a more legitimate company! It's not worth the trouble/hassle. Listen to these reviews, I wish we did.

Fraudulent business

Wanted to change my flight destination because of the riots happening in Portland. I called them about changing my destination. They said it was not possible, but could allow me to fly to Portland anytime within the next year. They said they would send me a confirmation email, but never did. I then find out my ticket is still scheduled for the original flight dates to Portland.

I tried calling Alaska Airlines to help with my issue. They were willing to exchange my ticket for me, but said it was locked on Mytrip's end. When I called Mytrip back, they said there was nothing they can do. I even told them Alaska Airlines was willing to change my ticket for me, but they didn't believe me. When I asked them to contact each other, the Mytrip agent said "we don't have time for that." The agent said they'd leave a note for Alaska Airlines to allow me to make changes to my flight but never did.

Alaska airlines also said Mytrip paid them with Mexican pesos.

Do NOT trust Mytrip. They're a scam business and will take your money.

Very Slow Refund

Took 3 months to receive refund for flight that was cancelled.

Kept saying they were waiting on refund from the airline but after a GDPR request they had not even bothered to contact the airline for a refund. Instead they only contacted the airline AFTER the GDPR request.

Many many people are still awaiting for a refund.

DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER

Misleading Online Price

I don't know how My trip is still actively misleading Customers on online booking.
This people (My Trip) know how we search online for cheapest possible flight. Once you find the best and cheapest price online they "GOT YOU ". There is 100% guarantee that the price wont be the same, it will change mysteriously and you will end up paying much more than even booking directly from Airline. All they need is your card details and you will see the fallacious drama. I have also attached screenshot shot $323 online price and $361 charged price. I am taking this to fair trade hoping to teach them a lesson.

Frist time in my life making a review of anything. Bought the ticket for direct flight through this company and they couldn't be bothered to let me know my flight is cancelled. I found out at the airport that my original flight is not happening and had to take another flight with a transfer and couldn't make it on time where I was supposed to be. It's like buying a house with a garden and on the move in day you find out you're getting a tiny apartment. If I wanted to travel with transfer and spending a day at airports I would book it myself. Bottom of the bottom of a company. Never ever ever ever again!

Absolute scam

Our trip via Icelandair was cancelled due to COVID. At the time MyTrip would not respond to emails, had no phone numbers available, and ultimately issued a voucher to be used by the end of 2021. Then, a few months later they sent a follow-up email stating that the voucher had to be used by the end of 2020! I found a phone number that I called and finally spoke with someone who was very difficult to understand (there were literally chickens making noises in the background) who was useless, and said I had to find a flight to rebook via their website. I explained that there was no way we would be able to use the voucher this late in the year, and HE HUNG UP ON ME! Searching on their site resulted in no flights available on Icelandair, which is a condition of using the voucher in the 1st place.

This was a very, very expensive mistake on my part. Do yourself a favor and avoid like the plague.

I traveled to Pakistan from Vancouver, got stuck there due to Pandemic, My flight got cancelled and I have asked MY TRIP to process the refund as Emirates airline allows the refund, it's been 5 months now and I have not received my refund. I called Emirates airline and they said they have not received refund request from travel agent and they keep on sending emails that it is pending from Airlines, my ticket is still open with them and no refund request receive from travel agent and Airline said it says 3 months maximum for refund. Process my refund, dont cheat, dont sit on other's money..

The customer service is totaly usless. I tried english and spanish call center and they are Just like mokeys... Dont understand nothing what you say and repeat the same usless things. Also they were trying to charge me 500 usd more for a flight that was cancel and wanted to charge me 55 dolars of comissions when wasnt my decission to cancel the flight. I call the airline and they re book it for free how it should be. I dont recomend mytrip at all. If things go wrong you are screw.
