Disappointed

Hi. Horrible experience with mytrip. I've book return "Flexible" flight for my friend from England to Miami booking nb L42LBY Manchester to Miami. The Tap Airlines canceled the previous flight and change for different days flights without letting me know. I did try contact mytrip couple of times waiting for more than hours each time and been disconnected couple of times. Finally they wanted to rebook my flight for different days too with 20hours layover. Finally I've canceled this flight and they charged me £30 cancellation fee for "Flexible" ticket? I've paid £60 more for flexible ticket. It's pointless with mytrip. Believe me. I've booked another ticket with Delta airlines. Finally I'll never book anything with MyTrip. Horrible experience! From 1-10 I I'll give them negative 20. Thank You Mytrip for wasting my time and money. Congratulations

Mytrip kümmert sich nicht wirklich - im Gegenteil. Wiederholt habe ich mit der Hotline gesprochen (09.07.2020, 18.08.2020, 28.08.2020, 10.09.2020), um einen Rückerstattung für die von der Fluggesellschaft gestrichenen Flüge zu erhalten.
Ich warte nun schon seit über zwei Monaten auf die Rückerstattung und bin sehr unzufrieden mit dem Mytrip-Verhalten.
Die Hotline teilte mir am 28.08.2020 mit, dass sie zu dem Zeitpunkt noch keine Eskalation (Reminder an Thaiairways, nächster Schritt) in die Wege leiten könne und dies erst nach dem 09.09.2020 möglich sei (zwei Monate nach erster Anfrage). Ich solle dann wieder anrufen.
Am 09.09 teilte mir die Hotline mit, ich müsse weiter warten und es gibt gar keine Eskalation. Ich könne lediglich eine Beschwerde an eine Emailadresse schreiben - aber auch dann werde ich weiter warten müssen. Eine Antwort habe ich auch nicht bekommen. Das ist nun drei Wochen her.
Das finde ich überhaupt nicht in Ordnung. Ich verlangte von Mytrip dass Sie eine Eskalation in die Wege leiten, meiner Rückerstattung mehr Priorität einräumen und sich viel intensiver um die Rückerstattung kümmern. Nichts passiert bis auf Standardmails zum 1. Und 15. Des Monats.
Ich kann nur jeden davor warnen, überhaupt mit Mytrip in eine Geschäftsbeziehung zu treten. Meine Geduld ist definitiv am Ende. In meinem eigenen Geschäft könnte ich mir ein solches Verhalten nicht erlauben.

I wonder why IATA is not investigating them as they are bad for the business especially these times.

The worst ever

Absolute trash... rebooked tickets of cancelled flight on the summer. The tarif was lower that the original one, so to match The price paid we agreed on the phone to an upgrade, which allowed us to have a suitcase per person... nothing else. I paid a fee and this morning they called me to say it was a mistake, So no suitcase and refund possible. If i take a higher rate i had to pay extra but if lower they keep the money. Real thieves! Never again

Terrible!
Bought a ticket to Stockholm. The website says that the purchase does not go through. So I repeat the purchase, get the same error message even though I have money in the account. And start the purchase again. Once I have paid, I check my account. They have charged for ALL THREE! Call them to report an error and tell them, Ok we can cancel them 2 extra, but you have to pay SEK 990 for it! Why should I pay for the website to give the wrong info? They are fooling people!

Don't use / Discrepancies

Don't use. It looks like they're playing glames. Discrepancies between MyTrip and Airlines.
You end up receiving cancellations if not by MyTrip then the Airline etc.
The worst part is that you pay extra £30 Admin fee (EACH TIME your flight is cancelled) even if you purchase a FLEXIBLE ticket.

We zijn nu vanaf februari aan het wachten op ons geld wat teruggestort dient te worden maar tot nu toe is men niet bereikbaar, en staat er al maanden hetzelfde op de site dat men ermee bezig is... Ik heb de reis in 3 onderdelen geboekt en van 2 het geld terug maar deze instantie houdt mensen onnodig lang aan het lijntje. Kom op Mytrip, actie nu!

Where do I even begin... My story is long but basically I booked 2 flight tickets through mytrip.com. Invoice clearly states there are 2 passengers flying, it has been confirmed by email. The day before my flight I try to check in for both passengers, 1 of the passengers is non-existent on the booking. They somehow managed to separate the booking for 2 people into 2 individual tickets and cancelled one. They blamed the airline that we were flying with. After speaking to the airline, they reassured me they had notified mytrip.com of the issue with my ticket the same day of the booking! Mytrip obviously did not care to let me know of the change as they had already gotten the money they wanted and left me stranded on a foreign country and gave me NO OPTIONS! I am extremely upset and disappointed I trusted this website. PLEASE PLEASE find another website even if you have to pay more. DO NOT USE MY TRIP! YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY! THEY SHOULD BE BANNED!

Oh and to add to that they're customer service lines are extremely unhelpful and will put you on hold until you hang up if they don't like what you are saying. It is impossible to speak to a manager or supervisor (they probably don't even have one)

Bad customer service

I tried, to cancel my trip. How ever after 2 months communicating with mytrip.com nothing has changed and my flight was still active. I didn't even want a refund. Juist cancelation, because I knew that was never going to happen to start with. But I need a confirmd cancelation for my insurance. But it was to much trouble for them I gess. Their communication is poor, inadequite and slow.
I am never going to spend my money with a company like this again.

I did a booking and due to a "technical error" on their website, my payment did not process through and it clearly stated to do it all over again. After my second booking, they send me a confirmation for two bookings with their own booking code, due to which I could also verify with the airlines directly. I immediately call the customer care after seeing the 2 bookings and after having kept on hold for almost 45 minutes stating "the wait time is 9 minutes " was connected to an operator who could not provide any details and according to their procedure arranged a call back from a sales operator for a refund quotation (not even an exact refund, but an explanation of the refund itself). Even worse I was informed that they will charge me an additional fee simply to request the refund. When questioned he simply says read the terms and conditions. It is clearly stated they can only charge if there are amendments or cancellation from the passenger but simply does not admit its a fault of theirs. I call the airline directly and was informed I was eligible for FULL REFUND. I call back and they outrightly tell they cannot cancel unless I pay extra!

I booked a flight, it got cancelled. Spoke with the airline who apologised and said i could rebook free of charge but i have to go through the booking agent. Got back to my trip & they charged for the rebooking (after being kept on hold for 1hr & 10 mins!). She asked for the dates, i spelt it out to her SEVERAL times. When the ticket came she had booked the wrong dates. Rang them back, another hr hold and they said i would have to pay for another rebooking charge for the error they made! That was only the beginning of a dreadful saga that still hasn't come to an end. I have had to book another flight and still have my money with these thugs. I mean... sometimes you can hear the so called customer service agents walking down the streets and sound of the wind and traffic! Worst worst worst experience ever. Please avoid at all cost!

Not refund my money

My ticket was cancelled in march but i did not get my money back. They are send me email your refund is approved by airline but after 1hour they send mail last email information wrong etc.

I booked a ticket from this agency, Two days before the trip it was cancelated. I asked them for refound but they charged me for 30 pounds! Just because of refound handeling.
Never again going to take tickets from this charlatans.
And if you are going to answer that you are struggling - you just not doing your job correctly!

Impossible to contact

I was supposed to go on honeymoon to Malta. Malta Airlines cancelled the flight. I have tried to call MyTrip several times without getting through. Today, when I finally talked to someone, I had to 'call back with in an hour because the system was not working' (strange how they answered within a couple of minutes for once and then to claim the system isn't working). After trying another 4 times I had someone on the phone. The communication was very difficult. He tried to tell me that i could only get a voucher? I am quite sure that they have to give a refund as the airline itself cancelled the flight. He tried to put me through his colleague to discuss the voucher/refund. I stayed waiting for almost an hour before I gave up.
I am very disapointed in this company and won't ever book again. Very poor service and it's clear to me that they try to make it very difficult to get your money back!

The scam that is mytrip just wants to rip you off hundreds of dollars and they charge you extra for cancelling an already cancelled flight by the airline! And if you want to change because the airline changed the time, they also charge you. So in short, even if you take a breath, they want to rip you off, STAY AWAY! Even if it means buying directly from airline for 100 more dollars, it is worth it people. The customer service is based in INDIA, the connection is horrible and you guessed it, they rip you off!
