I purchased 4 tickets for myself, my husband, my son and my daughter. The airline cancelled the return flight and mytrip sent me an email asking if I would return the day before. I accepted. They reissued my itinerary but forgot my son!? I have been calling with no answer and when I finally got through after 90 minutes the lady hangs up on me. She doesn't call back. I call them thinking maybe we got disconnected. After getting someone else after 1 hour the first thing I tell him is please call me back if we get disconnected he said he would. I gave him my order number and explained the problem. He claimed they never reissued new tickets and I said let me pull up the email you sent me. HE HUNG UP AND NEVER CALLED BACK. I now have three tickets and no ticket for my 10 year old son. They don't repond to emails either. I will be calling my bank to dispute because it seems as though we won't be able to travel now and if I can't get them on the phone I doubt they will issue a refund.
They have changed my flight and I could not accept the change and they did change it for me for extra £ 30 pounds for no reason

I just got an automatic email saying my complete booking was cancelled. I had 4 flights and one of them was cancelled by an airline. The Mytrip has no means to change or reschedule the ticket, they simply cancel it!
I had to contact the airline and change by myself and luckily got the ownership of my ticket;)
No changes or cancelation was allowed anymore to be done by Mytrip...:)

The airline canceled my return flight due to bad weather. I called mytrip.com's customer service which made me hold for over 3 hours, then after speaking with me for less than 1 minute, transerred me to the rebooking department where I was on hold for over an hour. He then said the flight appears to be operational from his system so there is nothing he can do. (airline staff was with me on the phone confirming to him that the flight has been canceled) You guys left me stranded at a foreign place. I would give -5 stars if I can.
Mytrip responded to my grievance by confirming their company policy of leaving their customer stranded without recourse should there be any changes to the flight made by the airline that are outside your control. In addition they buried such unsconcsionable policy in extremely long terms & conditions that they know customers would not read and shifts the blame entirely to you.
Simply put, they are saying it is your fault for being Mytrips' customer and they rub it in your face without shame.
Mytrip's sneaking practices should not be rewarded with anyones' business and we should protect ourselves by avoiding being Mytrips customer. In reality, the ticket price was the same as if I directly booked with the airline. It was just that I went to a remote location and didn't know which airline I can take and Kayak redirected me to Mytrip.
This horrifying experience is my lesson learned and I hope by sharing this here, I can save you from a potential nightmare that you are sure to encounter if you booked through Mytrip and the flight got changed.
Their customer service is next to none and their sheer shameless attitude really made me wonder how Mytrip is still in business. I don't even know how they got more than 1 star review, they are probably mostly fake paid reviews.

If you call, they ALWAYS keep you waiting for at least 2 hours no matter day or time. Then they bounce you back and forth from person to person until they tell you the airline company has the right to the ticket which is another lie. Then they tell you let me transfer you to my supervisor and that's when they hang up on you.
Please DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
It was really disappointing as they are not helpful and they took too much money to cancel and they are not flexible,, they took even more cancellation fee than the airlines,
I wish I could give zero to these thieves.
They advertised a price on their website, which I took and put my credit card down only to find out (after I've clicked pay) that the price has increased. This is a trick they always do. They lure you in with the low price and only after they got all your info and credit card numbers, increase the price.
This time I said "no" since I Wasn't happy with the new price and closed the browser. I then found out that they have charged my card already, and guess what, when I called them an hour later they said we have to pay 75AUD cancelation. Can you believe this? They charged my card without my consent and now I have to pay them to correct their mistake after wasting hours on them.
Avoid at all costs. They cannot be trusted
I booked a flight through Mytrip from Milan to Rome on November 7th, and a week before that date my region (Lombardy, Italy) was put in lockdown due to the coronavirus I did not even have the possibility to leave my town therefore this flight was lost due to perhaps a major cause.
I contacted Mytrip to receive information about the possibility of being able to use that ticket for another date or possibly get a tax refund, or something that could help me not "miss" that flight.
Instead none of this was possible and therefore my ticket was lost and so was my money.
Delusion, disappointment.
I want to clarify that on November 21 I had the same flight (same route, same airline) but booked directly from the Alitalia website and by contacting their customer service I was given the possibility of being able to reuse it within 1 year.
They can offer great prices but when you have a problem their customer service is ridiculous and they try to avoid your questions and put you on hold multiple times like they have no idea how to even help. I was waiting on the phone for nearly an hour and once I gave my booking number I was put on hold for a further 10 minutes and then hung up on!
I was on the phone, on hold for 45 minutes, spent 20 euros! On fees, the guy answers the phone and after talking for 9 seconds he hungs up!
THEN, he calls back and passes a recording! Literally a guy saying "hello can you hear me, call me back, what's you name"
They pass by as a Portuguese agency because they have a +351 number, but it is an indian agency that redirects all the phonecalls to wherever they are.
I AM SHOCKED WITH THE LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCY AND HOW BAD THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS
I recommend airline direct, mytrip randomly charge extra £ per bag & seat! Our overall ticket was £100 extra with no perks or reasoning behind it. We realised when we went to check in an extra bag on the airline's site and we were charged way less.
I had flights booked with this company that I was unable to travel on due to the England national lockdown in November 2020. I was told I myself had to speak to the airlines to arrange refunds, which I did, one from BA and one from easyjet. Both airlines of course said I was entitled to a full refund and that they would send the money back to etrip.
Etrip are insisting they have not had any money from easyjet despite me sending proof that the money was returned to them on Nov 3rd (14 days ago at time of writing). They have refunded me the money from BA minus a £30 'admin fee', despite me arranging the refunds myself.
This means from a booking costing £72, I have received £1 back. They have stolen £70 from me. Oh, and the only way to contact them is by calling a number that charges you a fortune, so I have a huge phone bill to pay too.
AVOID THIS COMAPNY!

The frustration holding on the phone for 20+ minutes more than 10 times within 24 hours, and calls being dropped (in purpose I suspect) were too much. Astronautical canceling fee of $75 even within 24 hours after booking which airlines promised refund without charge, but here is another evil thing about myTrip- mytrip uses their credit card instead of customer's to book flights with airlines, so the refund goes back to their account, then the customer stuck with them with no guaranteed change or refund. Is it even legal?

This is a very $#*!ty business... found it difficult to rebook my ticket, charged high for change of date, very bad customer service, long hold time. Learn from my experience. Don't do business with this bunch of scammers.

Really bad experience with this agency, my flight got cancelled because of Covid19 in March and we are in November and I'm still waiting for my refund, they just give me excuses about it when the airline already refund them the money and they are obviously refusing to give my money back.
Horrible experience I would never recommend to anyone this agency.

Well, my reservation code is L5NX3A. Flight gets cancelled due to the pandemic and you call them for a refund and the6 tell you they have £30 admin charges. What a rip off! So I have just been on the phone with them again and they have told me that if the airline cancels 5 times due to the pandemic, I will be charged £30 fee 5 times, plus the difference in fees and basically my credit will dry out without flying anywhere! OUTRAGEOUS! I have requested a refund and I really hope I will get it back within a year as have been reading other reviews about them with people unable to get their money back since late 2019. I always booked directly with the airlines or Expedia and thought I can give a chance to another company this time. Never again! Don't take the chances and go to reputable guaranteed money back platforms or you will regret it dearly. This is only a money trap and a total rip off during tough times and all for doing nothing. Admin fees? Give me a break. Why didn't Expedia charge me admin fees for the same situation? Are your admin people spitting out 24kt gold with each word they speak out on the phone? Plus they have no clue and they're not in sync with the airlines. I have received email from the airlines a week ago that the flight has been cancelled but these people are sending me a flight confirmation email telling me to get ready for my flight and to have a safe journey. Absolute shambles!
I booked flight with mytrip for an air asia flight. Air asia cancels the flight. Since booking was not through the airasia.com website I have to ask refund from mytrip.
FIVE emails to Mytrip remain unanswered.
Telephone contact after waiting 40 minutes to get connected to an agent: Mytrip says they have to get approval from Air Asia first. They also tell me that in case of refund 30€ will be withhold for cancellation assistence.

This company are run by a bunch of gangsters. It is really hard to reach their customers service. They charged me for the airline schedule changes of my trip, every time $30. I called the airline and they said They should not be charging you. I do not know why these people who are running this company are not in jail. Dear United State Government, please do something because they are stealing people money.
