My son is rough on his watch and the band broke under a year. We live in Canada so shipping is expensive. I called Tick Talk and spoke to a wonderful customer service rep, who set it up so I could buy a new band, and get an additional free replacement, making the high shipping worth the cost. Great experience!
I love the watch. Had to return it because of the SIM card retainer breaking. They gave me a replacement and SIM card protector that I hope works. My kid LOVES the watch and I love the peace of mind.

Both my sons have a TT 5 watch. And both needed a replacement band after a year.
On a sidenote, one of the watches is currently being shipped to TT because the SIM cover broke and the watch is unusable.

This watch phone is great, and I love the parent portal where you can select the settings and prevent the child from doing things you don't want them to touch. The GPS tracker works great and it's easy to see where the child is at if needed. I highly recommend it.

Eventhough my warranty was expired, I still received a replacement watch for a lesser amount than the original purchase. Payment was easy and delivery was fast.

We are on our second replacement. The silicone band keeps ripping at the base near the face of the watch. My son isn't rough with handling it. He puts it on his wrist and in his charger at night. I hope they make more durable wristbands... if it tears again we may just switch to a regular phone. Especially given how expensive the replacements are.
I ordered a watch band in the wrong color. I couldn't figure out how to cancel it right away so I called the number. They said they would change the color for me. I was still sent the wrong color

First, I love being able to call my daughter wherever she may be! She can reach me too. I feel great about her being on playdates and being able to reach me.

First, the charger cords seem to be inaccessible to purchase unless you contact customer service. All 3 replacement charger cords I bought for my 3 ticktalk 4 watches will only work if plugged into a USB. Port on my desktop computer. Tried multiple other bricks as well as outlets and none of them would charge the device. One of the watches still won't turn on. Watches have been minimally used the last 3 years and anytime I've let one completely die, I have to use a brand new charger cord because the watch will not charge with the cord that it was originally charging with. Wouldn't be surprised if it's the company's way to get you to buy the next up version of the watch. Overall frustrating.
Very disappointed. Strap loop broke in 2 months, only way is to buy 25$ replacement and they won't even give the tools, we have to buy the tool.separate
The new Tick Talk 5 (replacing an inoperative Tick Talk 4) was a challenge to set up and activate, but I was able to get it done. It appears the watchband is of more sturdy design than TT4 and can be ordered for replacement.

I needed a new SIM card for my son's watch. I emailed customer support and they got one ordered and invoiced to my account. I went on the account and paid and it shipped quickly.

My son loves the watch. It's been pretty rugged for my very active kiddo and has lasted a good long while before we had to replace one side of the watch band. It's a perfect entry-level smart watch to keep in touch and keep track of your little. This being said, he's outgrowing it fast. The band is the issue. It's chunky and not super flexible (ours cracked). But, most of all, it's WAY too small for a bigger kid's wrist and you can't just replace it with a band of your choice. You can only buy the (expensive) proprietary band which takes crazy tiny screwdrivers to replace and has no size up options. Not sure why they wouldn't just design it to take any quick release band (stupid is as stupid does, I guess). Anyway, for this reason, we'll probably have to switch to a Gizmo within a few months because the watch simply doesn't fit anymore.

I got the TickTalk 5 when it was first launched and there were some initial bugs (and the launch kept getting delayed), but the watch worked well. The band wore out after a year, the screen got jacked up on one side (my fault, I never installed the screen protector), but the watch worked fine.
The one challenge is the charger. If the watch isn't perfectly set it won't charge. Then about two months ago it'd randomly stop charging. I got a new charger, but it wasn't that. Now it's so poor that I have to constantly get up and pull it off and back in the charger every time it kicks out (between five and thirty minutes) to get it to charge.
So this is actually a Christmas present for the little dude to replace his original watch. Hopefully I get more than ~20 months out of this one.

With the launch of any new product, there'll always be hiccups and the TickTalk 5 was no different. After the bugs in the software were worked out the watch has been smooth sailing. After 2-years the watch band was wearing out so I ordered the new one and back to the races!
So far, I'm not sure I got it in the mail. It looks fine. It's goofy for the $35 for the charger is a little expensive but it comes with the charger so you don't need that charger but it's nice to have.

For some reason it was hard to get the old screws out they look like they had been stripped even though they had never been touched
