Lots of good mixed with good amount of bad. GPS is beyond terrible. We have never been to Miami yet we were in Martin County which is 4 counties away and it was saying she was in Miami. I have had to edit GPS everytime and never accurate. If you want it for that, not your watch. We've had to shut it down and restart it for not working a few times but when it is working it's great. The voice to text works good and able to make calls and texts easily. Fits my 8 year old wrist well and not too big. She loves it on her end since she isn't phased by the stuff I notice.
The wristband for my watch is broken. I purchased and received a new wristband from the TickTalk website. Turns out it requires specialized equipment to do the replacement. So I'm in a long back and forth with the customer support on what do next. They just seem to be sending me boilerplate copy/paste instructions.
I bought TickTalk 5 for my son 9 y. O. It's great watch for his age. It's looking nice, modern, easy to use.
Unfortunately, there are only 2 languages in the settings.

We were worried about the costs associated with changing the bands for the watch. The experience of Choying and buying the band online through the chat feature was seamless. The replacement arrived on time and it was pretty easy to change now we are able to enjoy the watch again.

After locating a long lost TT4 watch, customer service did everything they could promptly - set me up with an invoice for the correct charging cable and a new sim. After receiving the package, I found that the watch is apparently dead and won't recharge. Will consider upgrading to a TT5.

We bought a watch for each of our two kids, 10yo girl and 11yo boy, for Christmas. The watch itself is great; good graphics, intuitive layout and interface, and just the right balance of features for a smart watch w/o it being another video game conduit. The only thing I wish it had was the option to type out a text message vs always having to do speech-to-text or preset texts. The watch itself is a decent size, not too overly bulky.
Buying the watches and setting them up for the kids was a relatively easy process that had a lot of informative support guiding you along the way.
I would recommend this for anyone wanting to be more connected to their kids w/o wanting to get them full blown cell service and smart phones yet.

I got the blue Ticktalk 5 watch for my 7 year old son and I honestly love it for him. Its sturdy and a solid plus I love the control I have over his watch and all of the settings that come with it including being able to track him when hes away from the house and see what his battery is at.

My fault, not TickTalks, but I need to return my purchase. Having to get approval through a rep is an unnecessary step. Otherwise everything has been great!

I originally ordered a smart watch from a different company. It lacked what I wanted despite the *paid* reviews saying they had it.
I promptly returned it and ordered the TickTalk watch. I was super worried that it wouldn't be here in time, but it was here within less than a week!
Not only that, setting it up was so freaking easy. The directions were super clear. I even found out how to pair the app to another phone without them being present.
I can't wait for Christmas. My little is going to be so excited.

My experience has been mixed. The watch definitely serves a purpose for a child who is too young for a phone but needed a way to communicate. We have struggled greatly with the location settings, it often has her in another state, which is not the case. The watch band has lasted less than a year and replacing it is a bit of a pain.
We got this for my six year old son to give him connectivity without the internet. It has worked well so far and he finds it easy to use. I like the idea that he is connected in case of emergency.

Trying to set up the watch is cumbersome. I'm going to have to call for help. The watch is stuck on one screen to pair it out phone. Phone will not recognize bar code. Just a mess… as a busy single parent who runs a company- this is frustrating.

Its a watch band, does what it needs to do. I wish there were other types or designs. My daughter wants a scrunchie type but tiktalk made their bands to where you can only buy their replacements.

Broken watch bands and a poorly designed SIM card lid resulted in 2 replacements in a short time we have used the service. App is finicky and sometimes stops working.
