SCAM! AVOID!
December 27, 2019

Wow, where do I begin?
To start with, I was made to believe through false advertising that I was buying a product from an Australian company and additionally, that this product would be made in Australia. This turned out to be very clearly untrue, as my bank account was debited to a Chinese company (thanks for the international transaction fee), and the company lists its headquarters as also being in China.

Secondly, I purchased this product on December 11 in hopes it would arrive before Christmas (which it would have if this were an Australian company). When I hadn't heard anything by the 15th, I sent an email enquiring when I would receive my product. Roughly FOUR days later I received a very generic email detailing their production process (which, by the way, was riddled with grammatical errors) and didn't actually answer my question at all.

On December 22 I lodged a transaction dispute with my financial institution and hope to get my money back ASAP.
On the same day, I sent an email asking to cancel my order and for them to reimburse me fully.
A day after I sent my email cancelling my order, I got an email saying my package had been shipped.

A day later I received a reply stating I was not eligible for a refund as my package had been shipped (even though I asked for one prior to it being shipped)

As of now, (16 days after initial order) I have not received anything.
My transaction dispute is being handled by my financial institution and i hope to receive my money back.
However, I got an email from "Sara" (come on, we both know that's not your name) offering me a $20AUD refund. (I spent $118) $20 is nowhere near enough to compensate me for both my time and monetary loss.

In the VERY unlikely case i receive -Something- in the mail (who knows what i'll get), i will be sending it right back.

Do not buy from myfacesocks.com.au. This is a scam site getting orders off the back of another company with a similar name. They take your money and that's it! No goods, they don't return emails. Their live chat line is a hoax - I've tried several times and have never received a single response. Go somewhere else.

Hi I purchased a custom t shirt and sent an email requesting them not to crop the photo, they emailed back basically saying no problem. The shirt arrived in the mail and the photo has been cropped. I contacted them asking why have they done this, they apologised and offered me a 20% refund or replacement. Naturally I went with the replacement as the 20% refund was an insult. Long story short I changed my mind and asked for a full refund as per Australian consumer laws and they said they cannot give me a refund at all. My question is why offer me a 20% refund and then decide that they cannot give me a refund anyway? This website is extremely dodgy and based in overseas not Australia. I'm never gonna get my money back but I can spread awareness at how shifty these people are.
