I received a console table with damage, and base on Bob's rule, they must exchange it in the first year, but they don't accept and ignore refund or exchange the merchandise.
I've shopped at Bobs in Desert Ridge 3 separate times, and I have never had any issues. Brady has helped me a lot and was up front with all of the information regarding delivery and the goof service plan. Spent about 10K there and have no complaints. I recommend to everyone going there, and always tell them to go see Brady.

Worst quality furniture. I bought a modern white leather sectional from Bob's Discount furniture. I also got the goof proof warranty. The leather started flaking off the furniture after a short time. I tried calling bob's but kept getting put on hold with no one helping me. Do not buy this furniture! It sucks!
My experience with Bob's Furniture has been horrific. The bedroom set we ordered was delivered with a huge scratch in the dresser and the bed frame was missing parts. It has now been 7 months and we still do not have the part. Customer service lies to me every time that I call (I have everything documented) saying I will have the parts in 3-5 business days, which never actually arrives. They refuse to reimburse me and they will not send a replacement headboard. There was also a tear in the sofa cushion I ordered, which I have not received a replacement for. NEVER buy from this company!
My husband and I purchased a loveseat from Bobs furniture in Hyattsville Maryland in February 2018. While there, the salesman suggested we purchase the warranty that would cover anything that happened to the furniture after the manufacturer's warranty expired. We did that. In March 2021, the sofa broke, where one side fell to the floor. The loveseat was not mistreated, just normal wear and tear. We filed a claim with the warranty and it was denied because it was normal wear and tear and we did not know exactly how the damage occurred. We don't know if it was a defect that was there, don't know if the furniture was not solid and cheap wood or what. I contacted the store and asked for the manager. After a few calls and being put on hold then transferred to the national customer service, I spoke to the manager of the store. I told the manager I had a complaint about the store and their service. I spoke to her for a whole minute or two before someone else came on the line and said the manager is too busy to speak with me and to take my number so the manager could call me back. To me this is bad customer service to speak to a customer for a brief time then the manager is too busy to continue to speak with the customer. I have a feeling I will never hear back from the manager of the store.
Me and my husband ordered a full living room set in December and given a delivery date of February... February turned into March, March turned into April. Finally came last week with only 6 of the 8 items ordered, and 3 of them were damaged. We refused the order and given a new delivery date for new stuff for a week later. Today they came with only 5 items (less than the previous week). Called customer service and was told that the armless sofa (the main part of the sectional) was on back order until July, and the 2 end tables would come separately in May. At no time prior to this were we told that the main part of our sectional would not be in for another 3 months. A 4 month wait for nothing, and we are currently waiting on a refund. Customer service and communication is absolutely TERRIBLE! Had we not been calling constantly, we wouldnt of know the date was being pushed back... no email, no text, no call, nothing! Definitely do not recommend. Bob's furniture should just go out of business.
My story started 8 months ago with over 5k purchase. Expected delays with Covid, not an issue. First delivery had broken dresser and stained suede couch (2 of 4 items bad). 2nd was a bed delivery without hardware, left open box and stuff everywhere for "white glove service" (SCAM). Sent hardware days later for myself to assemble. 3rd delivery, nothing on the truck sorry you waisted your day off work. 4th, called in the morning to inform me again that there was no furniture to deliver. 5th rescheduled for Xmas eve (or 3 weeks later) dresser showed up cracked. 6th, was for dresser replacement but that was a damaged item too. 7th, another attempted replacement, top was completely broke off. 8th attempt was today, you probably guessed it, another damaged dresser. Customer service is useless. Take your business elsewhere; I will be. Quality is less than expected, the floor models are much nicer, I went back and looked again. They felt more sturdy and defiantly had better hinges and hardware compared to what they put on mine. Garbage company, garbage product.
If I could give a ZERO, I would. Worst store ever. First, I went into their store two weeks ago to order a twin bed, specifically telling my salesperson that I only had a mattress... no box spring. I assumed, incorrectly, that he would only sell me a bed that met my description, so I bought one that was not set up, rather the headboard colors merely displayed on the wall. Needless to say, it arrived and was set up... we paid $59 for the service... and it was obvious then that this bed needed a box spring. Oh... and thank goodness my long son and I were sitting in the room watching the assembly guys because I had to point out two times they were screwing it in wrong. They just laughed as they corrected themselves. I should have been smart enough then to just send it back, but I didn't. So I ordered a box spring the next day. I was told would arrive in three days. Then they changed the delivery date to a week later. Fine. I waited patiently, starting at 8:30 am, the first hour of their three hour window. At about 10:00 I saw their truck pull up. Excited, I ran to grab my toddler so we could watch them out the window. Sixty seconds later, the truck drove away. I was confused to say the least but figured maybe they wanted to turn around to get a better angle into the driveway. I was wrong. Nobody ever got out of the truck to knock on the door. Apparently they called my cell, but it was in the other room... so they just drove away. I am sooooo furious.And let me also mention their phone/call system! It sends you in a perpetual, never-ending loop. I am so frustrated by this store, their salespeople, their assemblers, and their delivery system. Needless to say, I am cancelling my order and NEVER shopping there again. And I am making sure I tell everyone I know not to shop there either.
I bought four sofas from Bob's last year. Two of them came with damage. Bob's replaced one of the sofas but refuses to replace or repair the other one.
On the one they won't replace or fix, the two arms are loose and crooked. And a light contained in the retractable center console of the sofa won't turn off. I've had to disconnect the light to prevent overheating and a possible fire.

Bob's has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. There isn't even a close second. First, they delivered the mattress and were to remove my old mattress. After paying $176 for White Glove delivery, they left the mattress and footboard in my driveway, leaning against the light pole which they broke. No one did anything after 8 phone calls and a visit to the Farmingdale store. It was there for 8 days
I then had a problem with the mattress and went to the store to exchange it for a different type. The new mattress was order on March 2. Delivery was about 30 days out and they scheduled it for Easter Weekend. I called them last week to tell them that we are not available those days and needed to delivered the following week. They refused and told me I had to "wait until sometime in May because they only delivery in my neighborhood once a month." After telling them that I had broke my back and spinal surgery and MUST have the mattress ASAP, they said they'd call me within 24 hours to reschedule. 4 days later, no call. I went on their chat line and went through the entire dance all over again. They simply refuse to make the change and cannot tell me when someone would call me to reschedule the delivery date.
AVOID BOB'S DISCOUNT FURNITURE AT ALL COSTS. SPEND A BIT MORE MONEY AND YOU WILL SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION AND ANGER AND HAVING TO DEAL WITH THEIR TOTAL LACK OF CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS
We ordered a bedroom set in August 2020. We were told this would be delivered in Sept. 2020. We didn't hear from Bob's until Nov. 2020. When they finally delivered the furniture, the bed rails were broken and the glass for the vanity was also broken. They sent new bedrails but no tools for the delivery men to replace them with. For the vanity they sent the wrong replacement part 4 times. The last time they were out I was told by customer service they are unable to replace the glass and that I will have to take care of replacing that myself. They have credited me 155.00 for the glass but they refuse to compensate me for my time. I would not recommend Bob's Furniture to anyone. They do not stand behind their products and wil not think twice about wasting your time.
Purchased a bedroom set for my 21 year old son, about 6-7 months after bed frame broke. He took pictures and went directly to the Manchester NH store which told us they would be in contact. They never contacted us, emailed them with no response and called several times only to be transferred to different departments and kept on hold in a loop. My son went back a few weeks later and they told him they had no record of his complaint and his warranty was up, did not even offer a tech visit to attempt repair or replace, they just shut him down. Again I called got the run around and nothing. Every pc of furniture I purchased in November 2019, is falling apart, this includes a dinette and a sofa. Horrible experience, its discount furniture because it does not last more than a year and customer service is poor, no integrity or offer to try and assist us whatsoever.
The delivery people were courteous and efficient. They also came earlier than promised. That's a first for any delivery service. I'm looking forward to receiving the rest of my furniture in such an efficient manner.(Order # ******* delivered on 3/8/2021) Please compliment this team of delivery people.
The furniture from Bob's should be titled "you get what you pay for" The quality is very poor, not worth the cost. The Goof Proof policy is worthless, claims are denied for every reason. Do not buy their products, pay a little more elsewhere for better quality. I will not buy form Bob's again!
I noticed my sofa which was three days old was defeated. I called to complain and get it fix and was told they didn't have the part. I was told to buy the part and they would reimburse me. Which angry me since I also had goof protection. I have been called a lier. I had to threaten to write BBB to get it fix. There is know refunds that is not told to you at time of purchase. They treated me like a criminal and am a senior citizens and a veteran
Bobs seems to have a great selection of furniture and so far I love the product we purchased from them. However that is unfortunately the only positive comment I can give regarding my experience. The customer service I received at this location was absolutely appalling. The salesman and manager that I spoke with were incredibly condescending during my whole time in the store. The salesman did not seem to know anything about the furniture he was selling and kept asking me for the specifications of the entertainment center I was buying as he did not seem to know anything about it. When he finished his part of the sale, he brought his manager over to "double check" the sale, and then they both proceeded in trying to pressure me into things I had already said I did not want to purchase. For instance, I was very confident in my husbands and my ability to pick up the furniture and put it together ourselves, but the manager and salesman were very doubtful that we could do this and tried over and over again to tell me how difficult it would be and get us to buy their white glove service. They also said if we picked up ourselves it would take 3-4 weeks longer to come in than if we had it delivered, which ended up not being true at all.
Then we were told our entire set had come in when actually only half of it came in. Once we received all the pieces we discovered that they had not given us all the screws we needed. We wanted to call the store and tried at least a dozen times over several days to get ahold of someone at the store and no one ever answered the customer service phone. We even called the corporate office and had them transfer me and I was never able to get anyone to pick up so we just went to a hardware store to find something that would work.
They have great products, but I will never shop there again.
We are very disappointed with the tow couches we bought last year. Quality terrible and customer service bad. Tried calling the recording said it would be a 45 minute wait.

My family purchased a defective rug through Bob's Woodbridge location with several hundred loops releasing from the backing. The company acknowledged the defect and has approved a replacement. However, we are a Military family that has relocated from Virginia to San Antonio, Texas which is a 24-hour drive from the store and 14 hours away from the closest Bob's location in Manchester Missouri. The store refuses to process the replacement without return of the old rug yet will not provide a return shipping label… Apparently per their policy the product must be physically returned in person and the replacement picked up at the same time. Upon making the purchase I explained that my profession requires frequent moves and I was assured that Bob's is a nationwide company that cares about their customer especially those of us that serve. I have been working this issue since November 2020 with Mike, Floyd, and Monica (who is seriously lacking in basic customer service skills) at the store as well as several customer service reps and call center supervisors with no luck. I have also submitted a formal complaint via the Bob's Support Center "We Care" email and have not even received the courtesy of a response. I expected more from Bob's and DO NOT recommend giving your business to a company that treats customers this way.
I would never do business with this company when your furniture will look over 10 years old in a few short years. That material comes right off. And no the crap warranty they suckered you into will not cover it. Now I have to purchase a new loveseat eventhough I bought what I was told was good for 5 years but now I am told they only cover accidents and you have to prove to them it was an accident. Making crappy furniture isn't covered and they had no problem making me believe that it was when I was lied to so I would buy it. This company has very bad customer service and even worse products.

Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
