Worst furniture and experience I've ever dealt with. Half of my furniture was missing upon initial delivery and the delivery team left trash all over my front yard. Once the rest of the furniture was finally delivered, it immediately starting falling apart. Mattress reeks of chemicals. We ordered the Charleston bedroom set and the lamps and side charges didn't last more than a few days before falling apart completely. You can't even request the items be returned for a refund due to their policy that once its been unboxed, you can no longer return any items. If I could give less than one star then I would!

Looked at this on Sept 20th and it was $1699 and decided to think on it. Checked on October 8th and price was $1799 and then again October 11th and it was $1999! I emailed asking why the drastic increase in such a small amount of time for a "NO GIMMICK" (HA!) store. Of course, no response. Shopped elsewhere. Took photos and sent them photos of the dates with all the price changes.
Do yourself a favor and find a real furniture store we bought two cat napper lift chairs. We have done everything except stand on our heads to get these things moving we have repair service 3 times in 6 months they told us because the one chair works that it's " in serviceable condition " we have to put up with a very loud pooping noise and the other one the controller there is none. I will never ever ever do business with these fools again ever. You get the yes girls who tell you one thing and then do something else. Fu k my bobs
Not even two years and legs and frame of bed started breaking and falling apart. Called bobs to report poor quality issue and they were quick to state that warranty on their part has expired and was directed to guardian service which was the company I bought extended warranty from with Bobs. After 3 weeks of dealing with this company they turned around to state they are also not responsable for furniture breaking down with regular usage. Or if it's an accidental damage it can't be parts like screws and hinges. Absolutely won't ever shop at Bobs again since not even my recliner was covered for screws falling off.
Delivery drivers very unprofessional and will tell seniors to lift their own furniture. Shoddy work putting together furniture unknowledgable of furniture assembly and tracks dirt in your house

I ordered a dresser from Bob's online for a client and scheduled the delivery date. I specified my address and contact information as the purchaser and the client's address as the delivery location. I needed this item to be delivered within a specific time frame of a couple weeks in order to complete the project.
Regardless of how many times I corrected them, they continued to attempt to deliver the dresser to me instead of the client. There was never any way for me to contact them by phone, as their "contact us" number took me into an endless loop. I reached people through the live chat, but each time I was assured it would be fixed and each time it never was. Eventually they told me that they could deliver it two weeks later... which would have been five weeks after the order, four weeks after the original delivery date, and two weeks after my project deadline. I told them this was unacceptable, but at no point did anyone actually care or fix it. I canceled the order. No apology from them was given.
I have worked with many retail companies for furnishings, and at no point have I ever had these issues before. Bob's is absolutely not worth the low prices, and this is in no way normal behavior, even for a proper discount retailer. Stay away.
I have been waiting on a recliner for over 10 months I was given a delivery date taking the day off work to finding out they were delivering it to the wrong house the drivers refused to bring it to the correct house that was actually on the work order... They took it back to the warehouse Bobs has scheduled 3/4 different times (3/4 different times i has to miss work to make sure i was home to get my merchandise) to deliver this recliner to finding out today that they gave my recliner away so now I'm waiting on a recliner from the vendor... that hasn't even been in the warehoused as I was told many times it was, they gave it away mind ya they delivered a couch and a loveseat to my house I live in now. The loveseat. Couldn't even put the legs on because there were no holes my husband had to do it because they refused to pick it up and didn't have anyone out repairing furniture during covid this place is horrible and the employees are very rude he told me the customers aren't right and basically to wait my turn hung up on me i called customer service they wanted to give me a 50 dollar credit for Bobs furniture NO THANKS ILL NEVER BE SHOPPING WITH THEM AGAIN
I needed to add more cushion to my swivel chair and when I disassembled I realized I was sitting on Amazon cardboard boxes which were hidden underneath the fabric. I took pictures and showed all my neighbors who were in the market for new furniture after finally overcoming the financial crisis of hurricane Irene
We had really awful experience with our recent purchase of a daybed with a twin mattress. Everything looked fine on a display in a store. However, the mattress they delivered on was too small for this bed and definitely defective. There were 7 inches gaps from each side of a bed and mattress itself was 71 inch long instead of 75. In couple of days it went in waves. We contacted customer service (the same day it was delivered). They refused to accept return for refund, but promised to send a replacement next Saturday. Nothing happened. We called again, and they promised to send it Tuesday. Again nothing happened. We called on Tuesday and were told that there is no information in their system regarding replacement. We called few more times and each time they promised to call back but never did. We had to go back to the store and demand to do something, stop sending us back and forth. Customer service was telling us to go to a store, and in a store to call customer service. At last, they promised to send a replacement, but in one month! I will never buy anything from them again! Awful service and defective items.
I paid for "White Glove Treatment" which involved assembly of my furniture on delivery. Nothing of the sort occurred. Instead, they simply leaned my furniture up against the wall. Had Bob's given me the courtesy of leaving the hardware, which they didn't, I could've assembled it myself. I called to voice my displeasure and they said they'd return the following week. Translation: I was being held hostage for another weekend while I waited for them to return and do their job. They never returned, so I ended up going to Lowe's to buy the hardware and assembled it myself.
I've called my credit card company to dispute the "White Glove" service charge that I paid and will never recommend this outfit to anyone, much less use them myself EVER again. I still have 2 large rooms to furnish but Bob's will not be given consideration. If you want a horrific experience, this is your best choice for a customer service nightmare.
I bought my recliner set from Bob's Furniture almost two years ago. The furniture started peeling right away. I contacted them only to be told the problem is not covered under the warranty. They came out to service the furniture for a $75 fee. The furniture continued to peel. Unfortunately I had to trash the furniture because it was too messy to sit on. Total waste of money. Spent almost $3000 for the set. I should have went somewhere else.
We bought a coach and dinning table at bobs to have a comfortable living space for our growing family. We expect the furniture to be durable but not even a few weeks we encounter issues. The dining table we purchased can't have any water / spill/condensation on it because it leaves bubbles. We notice that in 4 days after receiving the dining table. Then we received our coach yesterday and instantly notice that there is a rip on it. We called the support service and all they can offer is a $350 gift card that you can only use at bobs and cannot be use to deduct on your bill. We refuse that offer because we deserve a brand new defect free furniture that we paid for. They gave us another option to where a technician will come out to inspect both furniture. And according to their policy if they could not restore furniture back to factory standards they will have to replace the furniture. The technician is schedule on tuesday july 22,2021. We'll see what happens from here. Let's see how Bobs customer service and their way or operations really is. I will NOT recommend any of my family and friend(or anyone) to shop at Bob's. Their furniture quality is very cheap!
We ordered the Charleston Chest, Dresser and 2 night stands in white paid for the white glove delivery and assembly. They are not white but ivory, the feet on all 4 pieces are crooked, draws don't line up and have gaps, some draws do not close all the way, mitered corners do not meet and top of chest bows up on front right with a gap. Showed pictures to customer service and was told that they meet manufactures standards end of discussions. My review of the items on their website are not there even after email verification and thanking me for the reviews. They have also blocked me from their facebook and twitter pages. Why because they don't want people to know the truth about how crappy their products are and just want to steal peoples money. I wish I would have looked at their FB and Twitter pages as they are loaded with angry customers. Kids in Elementary school wood shop could have built these better. Run from Bob's scam artist!

They promised delivery on a mattress today, which is the sole reason I ordered it. I specifically went into a store looking for furniture to be delivered today as I'm moving in today, and need a bed most importantly. Was told what was in stock, ordered my bed, and told morning of it was "damaged" and cannot be delivered until Tuesday, IF ITS EVEN IN STOCK THEN. Was then told only solution would be to waive delivery fee (not even a fraction of the cost of a hotel for Saturday Sunday and Monday nights), or to pick up a different mattress which I have to vehicle to do. Would not even offer a "make it right" discount on the rest of my order. Steer clear
Bob's is one store I can definitively say I will NEVER shop at again. I purchased a pub style table along with 2 pub chairs. I opted for the "goof proof" plan since the salesman essentially made it appear that the plan was quite comprehensive. I also purchased the white glove service since I was told I could not pick up the set myself. The chairs are two of the most poorly constructed furniture pieces I have ever owned. The legs broke apart on BOTH chairs rendering them useless. These chairs aren't even used on a daily basis so it really shows the level of poor craftsmanship. I thought I would be fine given that I had the protection plan but have been completely denied any replacement assistance b/c the damage type was not covered. I sent a follow up email in an attempt to get some sort of resolution but never received a response. The set along with the protection plan and delivery fee cost me almost $1000. In my opinion, skip Bob's elsewhere for yout next furniture purchase
I've been extremely annoyed and frustrated with Bob's! The delivery guys were great, however, I hate waiting longer than what I was told when I first purchased my living room set! I was told 2 months and only 4 pieces of my set was just delivered after 2 1/2 months! I'm still waiting on my other 2 pieces which they now have pushed back to 2 more months! Also I was supposed to get my 4 pieces delivered last week and they sent 2 right pieces and 2 wrong pieces so overall, I am not too happy with Bob's! I understand the pandemic has pushed stuff back but not 5 months! And then every week they keep pushing my date back! Don't think I will do business with them after this! If you want to wait 4 or 5 months for something you paid in full for then shop here
I would not recommend this company, they will not return a bed frame that they sold me that didn't fit the bed they sold me. I can only return it if I package it back up myself and fed ex it back. I've never had such horrible customer service after spending 5 grand on furniture. They have a awful reputation. They won't be in business much longer if this is how they treat their customers. I'm returning it and not rebuying any bed frame from them. So they lost money. To bad they didn't want to rectify the situation. When they delivered a new bed frame they could of easily picked up the one that didn't fit my bed.
I would never recommend anyone to do business with Bob's Furniture store. I ordered a Queen size bed frame and they delivered a "full-size" frame. I had to wait over 30 days for them to remove it from on home. On the day they were supposed to remove it, it didn't happen. I was paying for a bed that I didn't have. I had to sleep on my couch for more than a month. Finally, I had to go to the store and cancel everything and request my money back. It was a horrifying experience. Cusomer service is unprofessional. It was a letdown. I learned my lesson.

Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
