Bought a box spring waited 9 day's for it to come in. When I got messaged to schedule pick up I went there and was told they gave it to someone else be accident then tried to upsell me another one for another $75.00. I got my money back. I strongly do not recommend anyone go there at all.
Got an electric leather recliner as a gift. Only lasted a few months before it started to peal off. Don't waste your money.
We have spent over 10,000$$ on furniture and every thing we bought came broken and damaged and my im sleeping on the floor and now i have serious back pains so if you read this don't buy from this furniture store.
So disappointed and will never buy from Bob's again. Purchased the protection plan and my kid spilled a drink on the couch and they denied our claim and said to go have it professionally cleaned. This was NOT what I was told when we purchased the furniture.

Just purchased some new sofas two weeks ago called because I had an issue with the furniture and was told that I needed to pay more as well as was spoke to very rudely and disrespectfully I couldn't believe that managers and supervisors spoke to customer is aware that they did I would never recommend going to the store to anyone.
I ordered a sofa from here a little over a year ago and I was recommended by the salesman to buy the 5 year coverage plan for any structural damages or stains. I did so and now when i file a claim for my couch nothing is covered because according to the assistants ive spoken with "my sofa isnt covered by their goof proof plan". I wasnt aware of this when i was buying the couched because i was told that if i had any stains within 5 years of buying the couches they would be cleaned, I was not told any of the small details that affected this whole situation so drastically. From what I have witnessed, the sales people here at Bob's furniture are selfish and will leave important details out to get their commission. Get your employees in order or dont hire such insidious sales people.

My husband and I bought an almost $4,800 bedroom set. Looked good in the showroom, however is not the quality we expected. The delivery person's put scratches and gouges in the top of the dresser, bed slats on crooked, stripped screws on slats and drawer track, put the the side bed rails with drawers on the wrong side of the bed, and the wood frame on the mirror had some type of overspray on it. They finally came to deliver a new dresser, mirror, and fix the bed. However, an employee broke/cracked a leg and bottom wood of the new dresser and we were sent new side bed rails instead of a new drawer track. The new mattress was left in the parking lot and luckily it was covered in plastic because a cat sprayed on it. Not to mention after the first delivery, had to wait weeks for a technician to come out and look at it then wait longer for a delivery that is now put off again. And this is their white glove delivery! We will never buy from them again. People expect new furniture not damaged! I would highly suggest looking over all the furniture before they bring it in the house because once they bring it in your home they try not to replace it if it's damaged. My husband told them he was not accepting the dresser and wanted it replaced. It's ridiculous that customers need to supervise employees. We we're offered a mere $100 off of our bill. Hopefully, when the next new dresser comes this will be our last incident.
In 2020 we purchase a complete 3 piece living room set, $1800. 00 and a complete 8 piece dining room set close to $3000. 00. All I can say is NEVER again. We received the dining room before Christmas, and the first time we used it one of the chair legs cracked. Four other chairs had to be repaired, then they had to come back again. The living room set cushions did not hold up after one year, and the material under the sofas we coming out. We finally just purchased another living room set from another company. Buyer beware. There furniture does not hold up. What a waste of money.
Cheaply made leg broke on sectional. Zippers broke on cushions would not recommend to any. Stay way from this trash furniture store!
I gave it one star because the perpetrated set was beautiful. However, I wish I had read these reviews before I spent 3,000. On reclining leather furniture. I'm posting here because the Bob's site won't let you post negative reviews. I've written three reviews telling them how sucky their workmanship sucks, and they took them down. Also, they don't give you an option to upload pics. The set I purchased cushions started sinking. After 2 days the cushions started bulging and lumping up. They don't have a refund policy, I mean what company don't stand behind their merchandise? They really don't want to exchange it either. I started to go to Macy's I should have cause these fools are running a rip-off business taking your money but not delivering quality merchandise, and they know it. I trusted them because of their tv commercials and thought they were a reputable company, they're rich liars! They need to get it right or shut down this shoddy outfit. Let's file a class action suit because they should never be allowed to get away with this! Buyers Beware!, don't waist your money on this junk, looks are deceiving.

First time ordering from Bob's in March. We received our order very quickly. Unfortunately the wrong products arrived. We were Missing 1-cushion and 1-corner table. Now they're telling me for one cushion it will take several months to receive. If they don't get me my cushion quickly this will be my last order beware of messed up orders. And long turnaround times For messed up orders
The sofa sleeper has come apart and I call Bob's Goof Proof and they have decline my claim. The sleeper fell apart without it being actually used as a bed. Right side of the sofa is unhinged. I called Bob's furniture and was just told I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do - 1 year store service has expired and our 3rd party insurance company handle the claim. Worst customer service - I would never buy from your store again. BEWARE - the furniture is cheaply made and it will break apart in 2 years. DO NOT BUY! DOES NOT any Stars
I Bought a Beautiful Sectional with a Huge Ottoman In February, around Presidents Day. My sales associate said that it may be 6 weeks, but could take as much as 8 weeks. I received communication that it was Not available yet a few times and then received an email saying it was ready for delivery. The girl who called me said my furniture had not yet made it to Chicago, but wanted to get me on the calendar. I was really busy and said to call me once it made it to Chicago. I never heard back. Today I get an email stating that my items have been delayed until mid May 2022. So if you were going to schedule my delivery and now my items are still not available, what exactly had you planned to deliver to me. I called in to the store. The girl who answered said she is the one I spoke to previously. Terrible communication, so I canceled my order and she was like-Oh Well, really? You can't blame things on COVID anymore. You still have to take care of your customers. I have never bought anything there before and probably won't ever try again.
I really wish I would have read the reviews before ordering any furniture from Bob's. We ordered a Bedroom furniture set, a side chair, and a bar with 4 stools in May of 2022. The first furniture to arrive was the bedroom furniture. No issues with those (hence the 1 star). Then the chair for that room arrived... with no legs. A few weeks later they showed up with the legs, but then no hardware to actually put the legs on. Then they showed up a few weeks later with a whole chair, an invoice for a second chair. THEN, the stools for the bar show up, 2 legs on 2 of the chairs are completely split down the middle. In regards to the bar, every month I received an email stating the delivery has been pushed back to the following month... FOR 8 MONTHS I received this email. Finally, I found somebody local to build the bar but it cost me twice as much. I just wanted it done and Bob's out of my life. Their customer service agent told me to call back and ask for an "accommodation" for my troubles. Called the store "the most we can give you is a $100 refund to your card you used for payment". Three weeks go by, no credit. Called again... "the most we can give you is a $100 refund to your card you used for payment". Another three weeks go by. Called the 860-812-111 number and was told it wasn't a refund to my card, it was a gift card and that they would not be giving me any type of credit towards my account for my troubles. This company is complete garbage just like their furniture. Not only are their employees liars, but they really just don't give a sh*t about customer service. You can take your $100 gift card and shove it.
I purchased a $2000 coach in 2019 anytime I submit a claim on this couch it's denied. The last claim was an accident and I still was denied. Don't buy it, rip off.

I purchased a bedroom set for my son back in December 2021, I was promise for my merchandise to arrive first week of February, then I get a called it was going to be delivered march 8, I get only one of the 2 items I ordered. The dresser is broken, I contacted customer services for them to tell me I have to wait until mid April to get a new dresser plus the bed are they kidding me. I never seen a furniture store this unprofessional, they offer to give me $50 for the inconvenience seriously why try to sell something you don't have in stock, not to mention all the headache of calling to schedule a delivery. Don't waste your time or money on Bob's discount furniture

Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
