You are not even worthy of a review. *******'s across the board. Oh sir purchase the goof insurance for a guarantee that our furniture will not last 3 years and they will cover it. B.S 10 times over. All liars and scams and $#*!ty furniture. I can verify my purchase date and time but why? End of the day Bibs furniture is a dog and pony show with no way to hold up to their end of the bargain. I will share my experiences with every single person who will listen.
DO NOT BUY FROM BOBS, they lie about their GOOF warranty so the6 can get a bonus. Bought my sectional with 3 recliners, and a separated single person matching sectional, Goof happened when teenager sat on leg part while I was sitting in chair part. I reported it to Guardian, they sent a guy out, part took 4 months (available for next day on Amazon) guess what, the first guy only pushed the buttons didn't actually examine chair. When part came in different guy showed up went over chair thoroughly, and said of he missed these 3 other parts 2 being motors too. Guardian Goof warranty denied for mechanical failure not goof, which I reported in October 2022, took until January to get installed, only to find out that their poorly trained person missed parts on initial review. We only bought this sectional here because it was the only place that we saw that had brown stitching with the brown leather (why anyone wants cream color stitching in beyond me). After months I was told sorry this is mechanical issue not to do with goof incident… umm they all started at same time. Horrible. Bobs love my sectional but due to you horrible goof plan, I won't be buying the new Cal King bedroom set I wanted from you … I was waiting to see my sectional repaired as it took so long, to make that decision, but sorry you have lost my money for life. Yes, I am one person, but slowly but surely you loose enough business from not taking care of you customers you end up loosing customers and end up folding.
My aunt (who is not very tech savvy so I am writing this review for her) ordered a bed frame from Bob's and it took a month and a half for them to finally get it to her! After they initially tried to deliver it and couldn't get ahold of her due to bad cell service (even though they claim they were literally in her driveway and could've just knocked on her door) they had their satellite office call her to let her know it would be another 3 weeks until they could deliver it again! When they finally came back 3 weeks later, they delivered 2 halves of 2 different bed frames! And told her it would be ANOTHER 3 weeks before they could get the wrong ones and get her the right one! She wanted to just do a refund, but they wouldn't let her! They offered to assemble it for free for all of her troubles, rightfully so, and they did. But still, overall terrible service and will NEVER be buying from them ever again.
Made a purchase and was told they would work with me on a delivery time.
4 weeks later I'm told I won't get it for another 4 weeks, and can't guarantee a time of delivery to make sure someone will be there. All set! Cancel that order!
First I paid for bobs white glove service which their denied so I never took delivery and asked for my money back which they agreed to. Well that was two weeks ago and still no refund. STAY AWAY FROM Bobs RIP OFF furniture stores especially the one in Henderson NV
We bought an L shaped couch at Bobs Dec of last year. We were in the process of selling a home and moving so didn't start to really use until August of this year.Its only my partner and I so not alot of wear and tear. I notices that the couches were starting to sag and appear sunkend and the fabric stretched out.I called the store and was told the in store warrenty expired 1 year from "Purchase date".
I was told I called two weeks late! They said there was no one else I could speak to. I left an online message and to date no response.Disappointing.Bob's will not stand behind their products.Buyers beware!
Purchased a TV stand in 2019! One of the draws broke. They said they would send me a new drawer, it got lost in shipment. Sending me another shipment ended up being wrong draw. Third time waited 2 yrs for a new drawer they all to tell me nonlonger manufacturer that piece anymore. They give me a credit. Purchased some new items for them to call me next day stating they want my TV stand back oh hell no. Never purchasing from them again.
I purchased a sofa 4 months ago, and its completely caved in and unusable. The agents made 2 appointments and did not show. Finally the agent today said its normal wear and not replaceable.! It;s 4 months old. He told me to take it have it reupholstered, and refused to replace or refund... Their corporate office is unresponsive and I am filing a small claims court... I cant even afford a replacement...
They are reprehensible and should be fined for their practices.
The crew delivering was fine. The dining room table with 4 chairs and a bench? Horrible. The warehouse forgot to send the bench, and then wanted me to take another day off work to get the delivery they screwed up. So i finally after a week and a half got answers and will be picking it up at a store in 4 days. However I have to pay 4.62 in fees? I even paid almost $200 to goof proof the delivery yet they goofed it anyways. Their mistake but i have had to do all the work to rectify? Loved Bobs but will not recommend or use again. Goof proof fees, pick up fees and i have to spend my time and more money to fix. Nope not again
I recently made a purchase for a mattress ant Bobs Furniture. The product was delivered at the agreed time. However, that was the only good experience. The mattress never inflated to its full size. The edges stayed flat and there were indents, poor quality. I called back to get a replacement. Replacement came at set scheduled. I was offered a full refund or another replacement if I ran into the same issue as the first mattress. Unfortunately the replacement mattress was in poor quality as well. I called customer service for refund and a pick up was scheduled. Per Bobs policy, refunds do not start until product is in companies hand. 3 times we were notified of time changes before the day of the pick up. However, on the day of pick up, we got a last minute phone call stating pick up will not be conducted and we would need to reschedule. Now I'm being told it won't be for another week until they can get another pickup in route. I will have to wait another week before my refund even gets process. What an awful experience this has been so far.
I ordered a Keystone Twin/Full Espresso Stairway Bunk Bed with Innerspring Mattresses. I paid for Bob's threshold delivery. It took 19 days for it to be delivered. When it was delivered I didn't have time to go through the boxes. The mattresses weren't with the delivery. The box with the stairway drawers was ripped, and I realized one of the drawers was broke. I fixed it myself because I envisioned a problematic situation. Then I realized that I was two drawers short. I called customer service and tried to talk to Hadji. I did manage to get the drawers re-ordered but lost him before I could ask about the mattresses. Two and a half weeks later I get an e-mail telling me my order is ready, but can't be delivered till 23rd Dec. This was on the 8th Dec. I told them I would pick it up. I live 45 miles away and had paid for delivery but I was getting frustrated. I went to pick it up, and got the mattresses no drawers. Five days later I called where I had picked it up and he had found the drawers but neglected to call me. So it was another 90-mile trip.
I would not recommend this business to anyone. One of the worst online purchases I ever made.
Purchased 5 counter stools. Two of them came damaged. Customer service offered to send me two replacement chairs and then said "oops, we cant do that". Then offered me a $50 store credit for the $400 in damaged merchandise. This place is the worst customer service i have ever experienced. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
I wish I had read some of these reviews prior to doing business with this business. They have horrible customer service. They began to block my phone calls. They deliver damaged furniture but refuse to put it back on the truck to take back. Second delivery damaged furniture again. I am DONE!

I bought a full living room set at Bobs discount furniture Freeport Ny. The coffee table is one that the top lifts up as a table to eat on. We put 2 glasses on it. The moisture of the glasses got under the the finish. And made bubbles. It's obvious THAT THE MANUFACTURER DID NOT SEAL IT PROPERLY. I PUT IN CLAIMS. AND BOBS PAST THE BUCK. THIS COFFEE TABLE WAS 449.00 BOUGHT IN APRIL 2,2022. NOT A YEAR OLD. AND THEY HAVE NERVE TO TELL ME TO HIRE SOMEONE. PAID 349.00 FOR EXTRA WARRANTY... I AM ANNOYED. WILL NEVER BUY THERE AGAIN. WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND THEM.
We furnished our whole home using only Bobs. PLEASE DONT WASTE TIME AND MONEY and DO NOT ALLOW THE MANAGER TO CONVINCE YOU TO PURCHASE INSURANCE. The manager that charged us told me to purchase it because for barely $100, i can get the whole thing replaced. In this case i purchased a mechanical 3 seat recliner. So i thought alright, things happen, might as well get insurance.
Its had mechanical problems since week 1, my cat teared up some of the leather, and when the manager at the Bobs on 22 (in NJ)sold it to me, he told me i should definitely purchase the insurance since i do have a pet, and any little incident will be covered, i can get a whole new couch at any given time in the next 5 years! I opened 3 claims on the same couch, with 3 different problems, and they denied the 3. Its a SCAM. Its mediocre furniture so you get what you pay for, but don't fall for the insurance scam. I hate that the manager there pushed the insurance on us, promised us we can get a replacement just because, in the next 5 years... its never ok to fool your clients into buying into a scam He even said I can go there in person and speak to him, that's a lie. Made himself seem available and approachable and honest. Bobs wash their hands and tell us to call the insurance company, since there 2 separate departments. The insurance might me a scam, but why push it on clients telling a web of lies to sell it? The insurance is a huge scam and im a bit mad about it. None of my family and friends will be returning. Hope i save soem of you time and money.
Three day return policy really sucketh, Unopened $129 mattress cover wrong size. No return and no exchange for correct size unless returned within three days after purchase.
BEWARE! These people are liars and thieves. Very unprofessional, dishonest and they employ predatory lending practices. Do NOT finance anything through these people they are an extension of Rent-A-Center. Need I say more. The only reason I rated one star is becasue they wouldn't let me post if I didn't rate them.
Bought a dresser on the 10th of October. Promised date of 10/20. After missing work to wait for the delivery, they told me another 10 days. Six days later, I called because we received tracking to the wrong address. They cancelled my order and told me to buy it again. Customer service is virtually non-existent, they outsource it to a call center that can't help you. Avoid them like the plague if you want to receive the furniture you purchased. This review wants photos, so here's a picture of what 16 days, missed work, and 2 hours of phone calls got me with Bobs:
Don't fall for the cooling beds! We sweat more in this bed than any other bed we ever owned! The electric base does not fold at the knees & it is awkward & uncomfortable!
We also ordered an entire living room of furniture & kept being told it was backordered & we would receive it next month, then the following month. We got so fed up we had to cancel the order & start all over somewhere else!
We paid $2,500 for a couch and love seat. The sales person sold us a warranty that would cover everything for 3 years. When the frame went bad close to 3 years. Bobs could have cared less. They played games and ignored us until the warranty ran out. We have no trust for Bobs and will never shop there again. You shouldn't either.

Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
