Bobs discount furniture is a scam, and poorly made furniture. Sectional couch falling apart since day one. Chusions sunk in, arm rest you can feel wood. Creaky noisey couch, goof proof is a scam. Read the small print before you sign anything. Says you can't sue them in a court of law! Now why would you put that in small print if your furniture is so reliable? Even they know it's junk! I highly recommend no one purchase anything from this company! They told me furniture looks normal from pics I sent. They should come and see in person and sit on it! I bet no one who works for Bobs has their furniture in their homes.
DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY! There customer service employees are RUDE and have no customer service skills. Second piece of furniture that arrived to my home with damage. The drivers also put my kitchen table together wrong and took off with pieces of the table. Last time

I purchased a lift chair/recliner along with a five-year extended warranty. Within three months the leather began to discolor and wear off. Also, the electric cord leading to the handset has cracked and fully exposed the wiring. I will include photos.
After numerous phone calls with no help, or even a reply, I gave up. I would never do business with this company again.
My new leather couches were delivered. They brought the wrong end and the chase is caving in on one side. They came back to exchange and brought the wrong peace again. I bought the couches in June it's now September and they still didn't bring the correct pieces. I keep talking to multiple ppl on the chat and they just keep giving me the run around. This is the third time they come to my house and didn't bring the new pieces for the exchange. I'm so done! Worst mistake I've ever made is buying from them …..
They are a rats! And they are shameless charging so much money for furniture that is useless, I wish I had never bought in that store, I advise you never visit these stores, I wish to see the review before to buy something, I'm no recommend anybody
Spent 6k on King size bed Set and Power sofa, Dresser and end table. We specifically stated to not show us anything that they didn't have in inventory.
Deceptive sales force sold us a bunch of stuff that they did not have. We were informed as the delivery date approached that the bed would take an extra month. We cancelled it and have yet to see a refund. The power supply in the sofa went bad after 2 weeks. The Bobtastic repair tech verified a defective power supply. No power supplies are available so we were promise a new sofa... but 3 - 4 months out. Cancelled the sofa. Soonest pick up date is 9/15/2022 so we can wait who knows how long to get that money back. I'm considering Criminal Charges. Do not give this company your business or you may be singing this sad song. SHAME ON YOU BOB!
Went to Bobs sat in a very comfy recliner the canyon recliner however when it was delivered that's when the issue started. It's cover is made from micro fiber so it has a very strong off gassing smell. It's horrible for 3 days we put a high speed fan directly on the chair opened the windows in the room where the chair was it made no difference. The smell permeates 3 rooms of our home. Bobs told us not coved but the smell should go away in a few days which means they know about the smell and still sell the chairs!
We bought three end tables and a TV consul. One of the end tables were scratched and they were aware of it and tried to hide it. We took it back and Bobs Furniture sales rep told us it would be 6 to 8 weeks. When the 8 weeks were up Bobs never called us. We had to contact them. The sales rep we dealt with told us it would now be somewhere between 8 to 12 more weeks. We said why so line. She told us, "well its coming from Korean" (N?). Not good. We were lied to from the beginning. Will never buy from them again.

I went to Bob's discount store in Worcester, Mass. On 8-27-2022. The associate Alex was very helpful and I chose a sofa that included reclining end seats. My main reason for this was because my husband was having surgery and this was suggested for his recovery. I had the option of delivery date and everyone at the store was very helpful. The problems began on the date of delivery which was 8-31-2022. The delivery truck came and before they took the sofa off the truck they told me it was damaged and what did I want to do, I said i wasn't sure so they told me to call customer service, before I could get a represntaative on the phone, the men said I could get a new couch the next day and they left without me getting an answer from the customer service dept. When I finally got through they in turn told me I should have taken the couch and it would have been replaced as soon as possible. Not having this information has caused nothing but frustration, untold anxiety and misery for my husband who ended up not being able to come to his own home because I had no furniture to accommodate, I explained several times that this was truly a medical emergency and everyone who I talked to said they would do all they could to get one to my home asap. I was on the phone for three days getting nowhere, finally Anna at the store in Worcester, with the district manager told me on Friday 9-3-2022 that the couch would be delivered Saturday morning. I received 2 text messages confirming this. Then on Saturday morning another text confirming delivery. At 9:19 another text telling me they were still coming. At 9:42 I received a call from the customer rep. Saying it was Not on the truck, Not going to be delivered and I would have to wait until the following Thursday.! This is so totally unprofessional service, this is the last time I will ever purchase anything at your store and I will telll anyone that asks Not to give you any business. Anna, the district manager and Alex were exceptional representatives of your store, especially Anna the office manager. The rest of the service was discreditable! Got The extra delivery and Disposal of the old bed When they Finally did delivery the bed & Frame they put the bed in the bedroom set it up closed up there truck doors started to leave then me and my Wife said ain't you forgetting something they looked at us like we were crazy we said the old mattress they Said that they was not taking it so I said OK then get your mattress and I will cancel the order Because I have paid extra to Have the old bed hulled away then they started making up stuff I have to have the old mattress wrapped in plastic that Was never mentioned in the agreement that I paid for to have it hulled away

I have the goof proof on all my furniture and never had a problem. Took a day off from work for someone to come he was there 5 minutes and said customer service would contact me. Well it's been two weeks and no one has contacted me and I am on hold for hours waiting to speak to someone. What the heck has happened to their customer service! Very very disappointed!
I ordered a dresser when I got it it was damaged. I don't even know why they would of packed that one up. I tried ordering it again. That one was damaged. Ok so we said one more try. We ordered a completely different one. It was delivered yesterday and guess what it was damaged. I will never order from there again. And when you call the store the talk over you. You have to talk over them to get a word in. Company is going down hill. They did nothing for me. Waiting for my refund.
This is a photo of floor model I ordered. When my 2 chairs were delivered they were chocolate brown not this camel color. I was told the floor model was faded that was why the color was different. I did not accept the delivery. I went to Bob's and took this picture of the floor model, which is not chocolate brown. I ended up odering 2 different recliners now I have to wait 6 wks. Don't you think they would take the faded one off the showroom or at least explain the color difference before someone purchases them. I was so surprise when my order arrived, I went back to the store to take this photo of what I thought I was getting to be told the chocolate brown faded to the camel color. I am very upset I have to wait 6-8 wks as I sold the sofa I was replacing for these recliners

Everything was scheduled to be delivered on July 12, they split one delivery on 7 deliveries! I had to take 7 days from work. 1 delivery- sofa arrived without legs, second delivery-cracked headboard for king bed. They just took it back. Today driver or company didn't reach out to me. They call my husband and left in 2 min. No I have no clue when they going to deliver my last replaced item. I am so disappointed with their services… I wish I would never walk to that store. Costumer service was not helpful at all. Falls Church store management was rude and was not even listening. I wish I could just return everything. But please people don't buy with them if you don't want stress and unpredictable situations. I learned my lesson. Just horrible…how they treat their costumers. Bobs furniture will never see me again after I spend over 10k… Design is beautiful but everything else unfortunately minus 5 stars..
The 2 recliners broken before 1 year of use. One the second one opened a claim back in April and here where are in August and still waiting for them to come and take care of my claim even though I bought a extended warranty. Shame on them
I've got no problem with the furniture. The prob is their payment program. They encourage you to pay it off in 120 days. If you're 2 days over, with basically a couple hundred bucks left you're basically paying double the original sale price at your current payments which include whatever service they are offering from acceptance now that you'll prob never use.
Elk Grove, Ca. Please be aware. All sales are final once you pick up your merchandise or after delivery. We purchased portions of a sectional and picked it up ourselves on 7/8/2022 due to their delivery fee being $200.00, it was much cheaper to rent truck from Home Depot or lowes. Went back same day and requested to want different pieces of the same sectional than the ones we purchased and they would NOT do it. They offered to sell me those pieces at a good price but I was not trying to add more pieces of furniture. I spoke with the manager and store manager and nothing they could do. Please be aware of what you are buying as they may fail to forget to let you know that all sales are final as they did for me until I went to address the return.
Purchased a sectional which ended up being discontinued had it for 6 months 2 of the pillows the zippers ripped they were unable to assist me with this matter and it's been an ongoing issue because the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing we'll never touch Bob's furniture again

Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
