Something arrived defective. I started an RMA immediately and they said it'd be replaced in a month (already egregious time frame). After a month, they said 4 months. I asked for a refund at this point. They so no, only store credit because we were now past their 30-day policy. If they'd told me from the start that it'd take 4 months for a replacement, I wouldn't gotten a refund from the beginning. So now I've got store credit for a company I don't want to give money to. The only positive about the company now is competitive pricing, which is already nullified by shipping costs.
Ordered Subwoofer on Dec 22. Item was Allegedly in stock. After 4 days of chatting w Customer Service and 2 emails sent…Jan 5….still no shipment although item is Allegedly in stock. Have requested refund.

I purchased two lights from monoprice. Within the first year both lights LED light burned out, I got a replacement and then the new lights are now acting up again the same way. I called customer service and they said so sorry we cant do anything about it your warranty only goes on the first item not the replacement item if you want to we can give you a discount to purchase that item again. I do not want to purchase the same light if it breaks on me again within the first year of me having it. This will be the last time I buy from this company that does not care about its customers!
Ordered cheap wired headphone which were never delivered to my door or mailbox. Despite tracking shows the package get stack in local USPS for 5 days, Monoprice advised to keep waiting. After 10 days Monoprice asked me to check the entire apartment complex to see if it delivered to the wrong door and went silent afterward. So Monoprice took customer's money but did not deliver the goods then washed its hand. I wrote them I had spent too much time on such a trivial amount, and I was not going door to door trying to locate the package as they asked, assuming it was really delivered (I had never had issues with delivery issues before this - be it with Amazon, Fedex, etc.) But I'm prepare to spend a bit more time reporting this to BBB
Absolutely horrible experience with this company and the Dark Matter 49" ultra-wide monitor I bought. I bought the monitor over a year ago on Amazon. I ended up moving and then going travelling soon after, and I never even opened the box and just put it in storage for a year. A few weeks ago I opened it to set it up, and the metal plate that attaches the stand to the monitor is upside down, so it won't attach to the monitor at all. I contacted Monoprice and sent a photo of it, and they told me to contact Amazon to get a replacement of it. I contacted Amazon and they said it's too far past the return date so they can't do anything, and I should contact the company. I told this to Monoprice and they said they can't do anything either, because it's out of warranty since I bought it over a year ago. I asked if there's any way to fix it, or any way at all to use it in it's current state and got no help whatsoever, they just said sorry there's nothing we can do. So now, I'm stuck with this expensive monitor, that has been manufactured incorrectly, and I can't use. I find it completely outrageous that a company could sell something that's manufactured incorrectly, so it can't actually be used AT ALL, and then do absolutely NOTHING about it when it's brought to their attention. I ordered 17 items from monoprice and they says that it will be ship in 3-6 days... I check online after 6 days and I saw my order still processing... I called monoprice and I spoke with the representative and complained and they said "sorry... we will process your order"... Whattt... WORSE COMPANY... I cancelled my order...

Bought a monolith 2X amplifier, it burned out the tweeter on several speakers, exchanged it after arguing and fighting a non-existent customer service dept for six weeks, now the new amp has burned out another, refund is being refused… COMPANY IS ABSOLUTE TRASH AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Purchased a desk from them - that was a mistake! The package shipped 2 days late. 8 days later their website still shows status as payment received/In progress. Package never received. Instead, I ended up calling FedEx for 2 days trying to find my package. Spoke to the Monoprice rep and asked if they can find out what's going on with my package - no callback. Don't waste your time and money just buy it from a more reputable place. I requested a full refund. Don't waste your time buying anything from these guys - not professional at all!
I was looking at buying a 3D printer and was interested in the Mini Delta V2 3D Printer. Filled out the order and noticed that they are collecting sales tax. As I am in Canada I questioned this as their own website states: Shipping cost for CANADA ORDERS:
The shipping cost depends on the weight of the items you are purchasing along with the postal code the order will ship to. Import duties, taxes and brokerage fees are not included in the product price or shipping and handling costs. Duties, taxes and/or fees will be collected upon delivery from the carriers for certain packages. These charges are the recipient's responsibility, Monoprice only charges the transportation fee of the package(s). You may check with your country's customs office to determine what the additional costs will be.
Emails to Monoprice did not clearly explain why they HAD to charge tax on an export. Phone call to customer service did not help, only repeated the same line about they HAD to charge tax and the person admitted that yes, I would also have to pay taxes and brokerage fees to FedEx when the printer was delivered.
Phone call to FedEx confirmed that I would be paying taxes and brokerage fees to them.
I am certainly not going to order from them unless they can clear up this issue.
Be careful dealing with Monoprice. I placed an order 2/27/22 and on 3/3/22 I got an email saying they had a glitch in their system, and the price I paid was wrong, the actual price was 5 times what I paid. From their email: "I'm reaching out to inform you there was a glitch in our system at the time you placed the order. Product ID ####### had a price error, the price you were seeing was $1.70 but the correct total per item is $8.49. There is a balance of $143.94. I have sent you a Payment link for payment." They just billed me FIVE TIMES what I paid when it was their mistake? They didn't even offer to cancel and refund the order, let alone honor their price. I had to contact CS for a cancellation and refund. Poor customer service. Their products are fine, but I no longer recommend Monoprice.

Electronics is considered to be something that move the world forward nowadays. There are some people who can't get along with electronics just because thwere born in the previous century when there were no technologies at all. I decided to gift my grandpa a new smartphone. He has already acquired one but it was abou ten years ago. So, it's old enough. I ordered ti here because I was attracted by the prices. They are really cool and they are considered to be the lowest I have ever faced. I will definitely apply here once when I will require a new smartphone, because prices are awesome.

I purchased an electric tea kettle, was waiting two weeks for delivery. After three weeks of use the cattle stopped working. I called customer service and have been told what the exchange/returns policy only two weeks, and I have contact the manufacturer ( which is located in China). In the end i stoked with the broken cattle. Stay away from this company!

EDIT: following my review, I was contacted by a Monoprice customer service manager, and she resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I added stars in recognition that Monoprice can and will do the right thing once you get in touch with the right person.
Bought a 27" Zero G monitor that had the DisplayPort input go bad within 3 months. Monoprice replaced it under warranty, and the replacement had the same failure in about the same time. An identical replacement was no longer available, so Monoprice would only give store credit as compensation. I added $100 and purchased the next least expensive comparable monitor, which has also now had the DisplayPort go out within 3 months. Again, an identical replacement is not available, and Monoprice will only give me a store credit, so I would have to add another $100 to get a comparable monitor. The quality problems and return policy make this a never ending cycle designed to extract ever increasing amounts of money from me for hardware that is destined to fail well short of the warranty period. I will never buy from Monoprice again.
Do not buy from this supplier. They are worse than Amazon, i order a new speaker stand for over $70.00 and they sent me a used item in a box that had been opened more than twice and then taped back shut. Then call customer service and they give you a song and a dance, just pick this $#*! up and i will work with AE to get a complete refund, again don't buy from this supplier they sell used $#*! as new.
Misleading company. They do not make returns easy or affordable. Bought a guitar and found out it was too big for my 9 year daughter and would have to pay almost the entire cost of the item to return it.

I was so skeptical of their products at first. Some of their stuff is too cheap. However, their stuff is built to last, especially cables. All of their cables are built better than Monster cables. I bought a really cheap pair of condenser microphones, and they sound really decent. Obviously, they're not going to sound like Neumanns, but for the price they were an incredible deal.
Absolutely, unprofessional. I placed an order on 9/2/21, for discounted items. They guaranteed shipment. After calling twice, I received an email that the item is out of stock and will not be available until 10/10/21. I've placed orders for tge same item in the past and received within 10 days. No one even took the liberty of updating me. Similarly, the same product I ordered is now available for purchase on their website for the original price.
I will be finding another supplier for my business needs.
I just bought a new MacBook Pro and they only have USB-C connections. Of course you need more options and I called on Monoprice.com. I placed an order of over $100 worth of accessories on 9/1/21 and they charged my PayPal account immediately.
After three weeks of not receiving my purchase, and their unanswered emails, (their wait time to actually talk to a service rep was over an hour) yesterday 9-21/21, I filed a complaint with PayPal. And afterwards I placed another call to Monoprice's Customer Service, put the "on hold" advertisements on speaker and worked for about an hour until I finally got through. The customer service rep was immediately defensive, she was quite rude in general and talked over me and had no interest what so ever in listening. When I finally loudly interrupted her and said "If you talk over me, I can't tell you my issue", she finally gave me a chance. I explained my frustration and she then told me of THEIR problems at the warehouse and that my shipment had in fact not even been shipped. But they had taken my money three weeks earlier!
What prompted my action is, the day before my call and my subsequent action with PayPal, I received a "Rate the Experience" email from Monoprice! My order had not even left their warehouse and they had my money and asked me to rate the experience? As my mother would say "Of all the nerve!"
As you might expect I gave them the lowest star rating possible and wrote about my personal experience, much like this rating. And when I finished and clicked POST, I was kicked out of the connection!
Still I was content to just get my money back from PayPal and move on. But no, again today, I got another email from Monoprice that said "Unfortunately, we are unable to post it [my review] due to it not meeting our review guidelines," WOW
They boast about over 10 thousand "Five Star" ratings, and yet will not post negative ones. Still Monoprice has not offered any apology for taking my money three weeks ago and no apology that my order had never left their warehouse. If they do this, take our money, use if for a month that adds up to a lot of free money for them at our inconvenience.
There are a lot of options for computer accessories and I would recommend trying any of them, except Monoprice.

Answer: Hahaha! In my case, they just dumped my package at a neighbor's. Unfortunately, that property is vacant so I did not receive my shipment until almost two weeks later after the neighbor came to check on the property and found it.
