We are on 3different phones with nobody answering any phone lines for more than an hour so far they say 24hours a day 7days a week they claim they are helping other customers but it should not take over an hour to assist other customers they just want to collect a paycheck without working for it they are the third party for Walmart associates if I ran my business like this I would be out of business in a day after finally answering the phone they claim they could not hear us on 1phone and hung up on us
I received my card, and activate it. All the places listed by Money Network, where you can cash it without the fee are incorrect. The Money Network doesn't provide an email, or telephone number. The only way to contact them is BY MAIL, and they will respond in some 4 months. What kind of crap is it?
First it takes anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes to get one. Then after repeating the question back and forth 10 times, they tell you whatever is written on their scripts. Any deviation from accepting their scripted reply, causes the representative to to run home to mama by way of wanting to refer you to a supervisor, who after a very long wait repeats the same scripted jargon!
I am such an idiot! Yes i said it! This is a $#*!ing scam, shouldve never activated. I've never used it, finally try to use on online and it was declined...I called and balance was $5 plus. It's a shame the state of California decided to use this company to pay out stimulus payments. The 1800 customer service number is an absolute joke. The reps can't speak English, are extremely rude and have no clue what they are doing
Debit card won't work after first use. Been trying for three days to contact Money Network customer service at the 800 number provided on the California Middle Class Tax Refund Card. For the first two days the recording said "Due to an outage we cannot take your call at this time, goodbye." On the third day, despite multiple attemps to get through at different times of the day, the recording said "Due to higher than normal call volume, we are unable to take your call at this time, goodbye." All this after waiting to go through the MN menu and inputting card number. What a joke!
I received the card with $700 on it. I tried to transfer the funds, but the transfer button on the website sends you to a non-existing page.
I could use it at the gas station though for a $80 gas purchase. A week later the card had $5 on it, because it was used for Christmas purchases at JCPenney by someone else.
I called the customer service number, but it says I have the wrong number! Oh well, at least I got some gas out of it!
My suggestion if you get that card: use it right away 100%… if it works.
It's not so much the people in the office itself, it's the company that I'm having problems, I call and ask why can't I use my money on where I want to spend and they flat out tell me that it's Microsoft's problem and they are frauds, try to spend my money on two other subscriptions that I pay for and get declined saying "insufficient funds even though that's how I get paid nightly, so what is money network actually trying to say that you can only spend your money at locations with key pad entry, if not your screwed if you try to pay your bills online?
I received this stupid card because of the $700 Middle Class Tax Refund. I set up the account, and ready to make a transfer to my current bank institution. I entered 700, the website said "Error: invalid amount" without letting me know the daily maximum amount I could transfer. I entered 699, same error. I entered 650, same error. The system kicked me out and I tried to log in again. During logging in process, I requested a secured code to be sent to my email. I tried more than 5 times, and waited a few minutes each time. AND, no code ever sent to me. The codes however arrived to my mailbox after 15 - 25 minutes, BUT I only have 5 minutes to use the code each time or the code would expire.
Finally, my account was locked due to many log in attempts. Then, 3 secured codes arrived to my mail box, BUT I could not log in anymore. I had to call the customer service on the back of my card. I called and tried all the available options and still could not speak to a real person, but a robot taking me around and around with no way out. When I was selecting the options, I could only go one-way in, there was no way to go back to the previous menu. So, everytime I hit an end, I had to hang up and listened to their long message again. Here, with option 4, I got that the daily maximum amount I can transfer is $600. Why didn't you say it on your website with the error message?
Now, what should I do? I called the other customer service number, and it asked me to enter my card number. After entering my card number, they said they do not support my card, please call the number on the back of my card.
Lucky I never have an account with this company, but the middle class tax refund. Now, I am stuck in the middle of nowhere.
I read all the reviews and figured something out. This company charged fees whenever their customers make purchases. The fees will then be refunded in 7 days. For others like me, have governement money deposited in ATM cards, this company will find all possible ways to BLOCK their customers from withdrawing money out, or transferring money to other banks. The longer they hold your money, the longer they can BORROW it for something else.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! THEY SUCK SO DAMN BAD! AND CANT DO $#*! FOR YOU! ANSWER IS ALWAYS, 2-3 BUISNESS DAYS, FOR EVERY GODDAMN THING! THEY CAN SHOVE THIS CARD UP THEIR ASSES!
The worst customer service experience to date. They have a phone tree that must have been designed by the Devil. When all else fails, it asks you to enter your phone number. If the system doesn't recognize your number it asks you to call back from a different number stating, "Thankyou, goodbye." Then disconnects.
DO NOT trust them with your money, ever. As soon as you get the money on the card, wait til you get the full amount before activating it, & then transfer it elsewhere IMMEDIATELY. It's so incredibly unsecured & should not be trusted. Believe all the terrible reviews - including this one - you will be highly upset, otherwise.
The state of California should never have used this Company for their tax refund debit card. Can't use card at any Bank's listed on their website to get cash. Spent two trips to find this out. Almost impossible to use the online transfer. I spent two hours and finally got the funds transferred. I will have to wait to see if this was successful. I plan on contacting Caif tax refund board to tell them how bad this comapny is and not to ever use them again to handle tax refunds
Horrible horrible company! Cannot access account online or on app play store, says does not exist. I called to report can not take money out of ATM the customer service guy Josh was very rude and reported my account as fraud and blocked me from making any more calls. I wanted a long time for my disability to get approved and this is what I get, cannot access...
This bank is not good I can't get into my account and yet months they fail to help me and hang up every time I will be shutting my account down and never trusting them with money they can't even tel you about and they work for them

On October 9th it transferred $50 to my bank account it never made it I have been waiting for a dispute paper for 3 weeks and it seems like they procrastinate and don't want to settle about where this money went I don't understand it should show that it was depositing my bank it does not this is a crappy place do not transfer money from the card to your bank go to the free ATMs pull all your money then take it to the bank that's the best way without being ripped off I am still waiting for a dispute papers to file a dispute on the $50 which they already know it did not go in the bank crappy place crappy people crafty card to use
My app got locked and have called to get help 4 times and nothing worked. Used my right password and user name and still didn't work. They gave me a temporary password to log in and it still didn't work. My company made this card a must and I hate it because I've had nothing but trouble from the start
Just say no. There is no customer support, balance and daily amounts are commonly incorrect, the card came with the company name instead of my personal name. The webite is vague and leaves me with questions I don't know the answers to and have no where to go to ask. Just say no.
I raised a dispute for a transaction that I made using money networkcard. After filling out paperwork and submitting it and with speaking to someone, my dispute was closed without investigation. They said they tried to contact me but no call or voice-mail was received. I am sad that I lost my money but what's worse is that this bank did nothing to help me get my money back. Very disappointing!
Answer: It is a scam. No matter how much information you give about yourself they still will lie to you and send you a dispute sayin your claim is closed
