I purchased my fiancés engagement ring in July of 2022 and in February of 2024 the ring literally split in half. It's completely broken from everyday use. Wasn't an accident or anything specific that caused it. When I reached out to Moissanite Co, they said this was the result of "usual wear and tear" and to contact the insurance that I paid extra on the ring to file a claim and hopefully get it fixed. This company is awful and I would never use them again.
I absolutely love my moissanite ring! Telling all my friends to get moissanite instead of diamonds for engagement rings and wedding bands. I also appreciate that MoissaniteCo has photos but also live videos of each of their products so you can really see what they look like in real life when choosing between products.
I was shocked when I emailed this jewelry store and was told that the ring I had purchased from them were "too petite" for me,as a woman weighing only 105 pounds, was to blame for the stones falling out of my rings.
It was a truly disappointing experience to be blamed for something that was clearly a manufacturing issue. As a consumer, I expect the products I purchase to be of high quality and to last. In this case, it seems that the company was trying to shift the blame onto me rather than taking responsibility for their faulty products.

It is unacceptable for a company to blame a customer for a product defect, especially when it is clear that the issue is a result of poor craftsmanship. Instead of making excuses, the company should be taking steps to rectify the situation and ensure that their products are up to standard.
In addition to the disappointment of being blamed for the stones falling out of my rings, I also felt belittled by the implication that my size was somehow unsuitable for their jewelry. It is not the place of a company to pass judgment on a customer's body size, especially in a negative way. This kind of attitude is not only unprofessional, but it also perpetuates harmful stereotypes and contributes to body shaming.
Ultimately, this experience has left me feeling frustrated and disrespected by the company. I hope that they will reconsider their approach to customer service and take responsibility for the quality of their products. As a consumer, I expect to be treated with respect and to receive a high standard of service, and I will be reconsidering my future purchases from this company. It is important for companies to understand that blaming the customer is not an acceptable way to handle product issues and that they should take steps to improve their customer service and product quality.

My rose gold ring was purchased with this company, I never wear the ring due to me being a nurse I wear the rubber rings so it won't hurt myself or my patients. I have never washed my hands in this ring because of me being afraid to mess it up, I reached int to customer service only for them to say that they would charge me to polish the ring! What in the world?! That's not going to restore the rose gold on the ring! They asked stupid questions that had nothing to do with the ring and did. It offer to dip the ring or anything. I am beyond pissed
Hello, the ring is made of solid 14k rose gold. Rose gold contains more copper than standard yellow gold which is what gives it the pinkish color. While the gold content won't react with other chemicals, the copper content can. If you google rose gold changing colors, rose gold oxidization, etc. this can and definitely does happen with rose gold. Its not a defect and part of the routine upkeep of rose gold jewelry. I am sorry that it upset you to hear that the solution is for it be cleaned and polished by a jeweler, but that is, in fact, the solution. As far as asking you "stupid questions", we were simply trying to get an understanding of the problem. Because the ring was purchased in 2021, there is a small fee for cleaning and polishing if done through our company (and we also check for loose stones, tighten any that we find, etc.) as part of that process.

After posting my review on this website 3 weeks ago, MoissaniteCo immediately reached out to me.
They offered to redo the ring from scratch and to send the old one only once the new one was ready.
They had me look at photos and videos of the new ring for approval.
I received it 2 days ago.
I'm happy with the ring as it is what I wanted but I'm still upset with how difficult this situation has been.
Hopefully no further issues come up with the ring.

In June of this year my fiancé ordered an engagement ring and a wedding band. It was delivered early in July and that's when he proposed. On the day following the proposal, I noticed that the head or the engagement ring was crooked to the side. I also noticed that one of prongs was longer that the 3 others which resulted in the stone being a little bit tilted to the side. You can't really tell right away but when you know, you cannot unsee it.
My fiancé reach out to MoissaniteCo to find a solution. They replied right away to confirm our home address. My fiancé replied on the same day with the information and then didn't hear from them for 2 weeks. We thought they were sending a replacement ring and didn't pressure them further. After two weeks, my fiancé reached out again via chat on the website only to be told that they didn't receive our information. My fiancé then sent the whole email chain to prove that he'd been replying.
Again, no response for 2 weeks. My fiancé reached out again in the first week of August and said he wasn't happy with the whole situation as we were getting married on August 12th, 2023 and he didn't want me to have a defect ring on our wedding day. They replied right away and asked for our home address. At this point, it was ridiculous and we thought they were joking as we already had sent our home address 2 times and it was the same as the original delivery address. My fiancé sent the entire email chain again with a reply to send a new ring right away for the wedding.
They replied the week after the wedding with a CanadaPost delivery tag. My fiancé replied and said he was very displeased with the service and didn't trust them anymore to fix the ring and wanted a compensation so we could have the ring fixed by a trusted jeweller instead. No response.
He messaged them again twice since then about a compensation for the defect engagement ring. Nothing.
This is ridiculous. You spend 2,000.00USD on a ring, you'd expect it to be perfect or at least have good customer service afterwards but no. This has been hell and we had to spend 500.00 at a jeweller to have it fixed.
Don't buy from this horrible company. The quality of the engagement ring is horrible and I just wish he had spent more and went with another company. Their customer service is basically inexistant so you really have no recourse.

Answer: Scam - they sell inferior products, their craftsmanship is of low quality. After you have made a purchase, you are left with no recourse if the item is not up to par, not as advertised, poor quality. The owner is rude and has no idea how to retain clients

Hello Cameron, we are very sorry to learn of the damage to the ring. The reason it originally cracked on the side was because the band was bent in an oval shape. Accident protection was paid for with the order, and so our customer service reps provided steps for you to get it repaired through that service. That being said, we are really surprised by the picture included with your review. When you contacted us 3 days ago, it was just cracked on one side. We have included a link to your picture below. We don't know who/why additional damage was done to the ring in the meantime since you contacted us on the 12th.
